I wanted to purchase a third extra character slot, gems disappeared but I did not receive the 8th slot.

It worked fine when I bought two slots a couple days ago.

I’m in a similar situation, unable to use my own names from GW1 because they are “reserved”.

Some (any, really) sort of update would be nice. According to the official blog post, all reserved names were supposed to become available to everyone after launch day.

My GW1 account is linked to the wrong GW2 account, I’m unable to use my own GW1 names because they are reserved for the wrong account.

It’s possible that those names are bugged somehow since all reserved names were supposed to be released for everyone to use after launch day. However even now I get the “it’s a reserved name” (not “already used”) error when trying to create a new character.

Indeed, it would be nice to know when these reserved names will finally become available.

I can’t use my own GW1 names because my account is linked to the wrong GW2 account. Support have been no help either, I guess the “hacked” accounts are a higher priority.
