We will find it. And we will kill it. For the thrill of killing things wolf!
But seriously, I think a bug report with “Blocks progression” (or however it is called in english) would be a good idea, too. It could be that they overlooked this while designing the collection.
I am also looking desperately for a friggin Wild Bull. There was one in a WvW Borderlands before the patch, but WvW is out anyway, since the Totem of the Wolf does not work there.
Concerning the mosquitos: I encountered that bug too. But only in pact tyria. Once I killed a mosquito in verdant brink it worked fine. Still a bug though, but now you can at least add that one to your list.
Legendary Precursor Collection Howler I is bugged:
- Killing a mosquito critter does not give the needed item. every other critter works fine.
- Tried these on several maps in maguuma, kryta and ascalon.
- Also tried with the enemy nsc either yellow or red. No success.
—> Collection is not completeable.
I think this would be a fitting place to put, since I also experience issues with a tier I precursor Collection (also I am using spoiler tags for ppl who want to experience the collection by themselves)
Bug with Precursor Crafting “The Howler I”
In this collection you have to kill critters under certain circumstances. This is going rather well, but it fails when it comes to the Mosquito. No matter where I kill a mosquito critter, the collection does not progress. This also does not work with the enemy Mosquito.
Thank you. I am glad for someone here to actually praise the difficulty of the boss. Challanges are what can make oneself proud of his accomplishments =)
What I am wondering is, why no one has brought up the issue of scaling as of now. i mean, it is entirely possible, that with a smaller, well organized group of say 20 players, Tequatl would be scaled down and be more easily done? Instead of a large and heavily unorganised group.
If that would be the case, that would be great. I always disliked the current world bosses, where you just spammed attacks uncoordinated and the mass was enough to win the fight. Now there will be actually need of tactics, a player who wants in on the success needs to understand the event and participate in it – AND THAT IS GREAT. I am all for challenging, near-to-impossible content depending entirly on your frigging skill and teamwork.
But see, the good thing now is: There are information starting to trickle through. Now I have some mail about the heralds and the first hints are starting to come up. Just as if you read a book, first you wonder what is going on anyway!
Well it seems, they will slowly build up the content. One may argue about the fencing repairing being a bit… dull. But I expect them to build up after this.
Although I would have liked to be able to get some little hints of knowledge out of the refugees – marks, sentences, footprints, a survivor telling weird things… just enough to start questioning yourself “What in Kormirs name is going on?”
Jepp, happend to me, too. Tried it two times and the avatar didn’t react to my or the sylvaris presence. Happend at different points of the Event, once at the very beginning and another time after the first battle one witnesses.
