Well, I’m not really getting why Gilkin is leaving… By the way he’s talking, it’s like ET turned unto the new SF… I didn’t see the 70man zerg he mentioned, unless he’s talking about Agg and FoE offensives (which I tend to avoid for personal reasons)…

But if the game will be more fun for him at FC, I can just wish him good luck because I have nothing against him, except that since his name will become “Ferguson Crossing Invader” he’ll be attacked on sight.

We must not be fighting at the same times because from 6pm eastern to 11pm eastern we now generally have a queue non stop in EB, are taking over stuff in the other BLs and normally have our own capped. Last night we were running 70 people into 30 -35 and people were laughing about it. The same thing we railed SF about, we are now doing.

70 v 30 is wonderful to win and take stuff over, but that isn’t what I like, I don’t enjoy it. To me it is a boring snooze fest. Now things might equal out at other times, but I don’t get to play at those times except on rare occasion for a very limited amount of in game time.

As I said I’ll wait a week to see if it evens out (or if I was even welcome), but I want to lead when things are looking bad (which is the only time I really ever lead), not just when things look good and anyone can lead to victory. Different strokes for different folks.

I’ve followed you many a time Gilkin and you are a very good commander.
That being said, when these zerg fests are happening, how many commanders are tagged? Is it just one or two that the masses are flocking to because of lack of choice?
I know I join zerg fests when I am leveling a lowbie up, but tend to use my 80 when defending our BL or am with a medium sized group with a sepcific goal in mind.
Also keep in mind, if you are in ET BL, and see zergs, we are reclaiming our territory and will do what it takes :-) Zergs tend to discourage invaders.
Now in other BLs I like to see smaller groups split up and tactically taking enemy territory.
EB…well, thats just a big dang ball of zerg all around trying to spread the enemy thin enough to end up focusing on SM :-)

Definitely don’t want to see you go though. I think you just have to get cozy with a select group of people on at your time frame and lead them into the strategic strikes that you like. If your tag draws a crowd. Give your group a WP, Detag and alter your course until you need to Tag up to keep your group together again.

I was on most of the weekend from Saturday morning to Sunday evening and I feel there were times we were outnumbered and times when we outnumbered. I think this has been the most even match I’ve experienced since Sept 2011, look at the score! There were many times when TAC & members from other guilds faced a 50+ man GOM zerg and lost towers/keeps. Other times when we faced overwhelming odds, defending against 2 back to back breakouts with Commander Angry Brotha. It depends on what time of the day you log on. I have not seen a 70 vs. 30 zerg most of the weekend.

I had a ton of fun this weekend and at the end of the day, that’s all that matters.

Actually I have a very nice Asus 12GB gaming laptop but had the graphics turned down low to minimize lagging. But I’ve turned the graphics back to high so I promise the future pics will be much nicer!

I don’t need your funds for a new computer. However, if you want to start a fund to help me with upgrades and seige, I’d appreciate it!

TAC does not support hacking/exploiting. We have been on Eredon for a long time, and have never resorted to exploiting. We will tell our members not to participate in it as well.

Come to Eredon Terrace, We have fought GoM a few weeks back and was an enjoyable fight for us at ET.

Why come to ET rather than a winning server?

We have great commanders and several guilds that work together each night coming up with new plans and tactics to put up 1 hell of a fight.

We don’t run around in mindless zergs for karma trains, instead we use tactics and takeover several things at the same time whilst distracting invaders.

To us at ET, wvw is not about the winning, but about the enjoyment and activity from it.

We have a community that listens to each other rather than argue with each other.

We may not be winning as we don’t have the population to do so yet, but when Eredon Terrace steps into WvWvW, we become 1, 1 community, 1 spirit, 1 Sword in the chest of an invader, to fight our enemies with grace and loyalty.

We have a great community at ET! Commanders work together, complimenting each other, no elitist mentality, does not matter what guild you are in. We formed an alliance of about 10+ guilds and expanding everyday, implement coordinated tactics. We never give up! Win or lose, we are in it for the fun and have faced overwhelming odds most times, which is extremely rewarding. ET fights with heart, can never break our spirit.

About 8 hours ago there was a call to arms saying SM was under attack in which ET had a vast array of siege very strategically placed along the south and west walls.

Not only that, Fergs had trebs attacking from Durios on the eastern side and the outer wall was wide open. There was holes on both east and west sides in SM for I don’t know how long.

I’m not sure on actual time, but it felt like 3 hours of straight of fighing to keep SM and retain outside towers/camps from capture while nursing SM back from the brink of death.

Best fight in GW2 in my short experience by far. Anymore persistence from ET or Fergs on either side and SM would have been under new management.

Had a blast last night! I was trebbing SM from Klovin Tower! Hilarious since you guys could not reach the trebs, but hit the wall behind me. As Mclovin said, we would have had SM if ppl didn’t go to sleep.

That is prime time for most players on Eredon Terrace. We are very skilled players, not squirmish, only thing we need are more numbers. We have many WvW oriented guilds and are all in an alliance as well as voice chat coordination. Check out my videos from this past Saturday. We still kicking it.

It will be fun for sure, I got crazy seige ready for you guys! We on ET love strategic seige placement and the field battles, those 20 vs. 20, 30 vs. 40 ones, so much fun! That is how you know if your force is skillful or not. We had a 30 vs. 40 field battle with Sorrow’s Furnace and let’s just say our guys appreciated the kills lol.

Godfather, one of those thieves was our commander, Air. We have a lot of skillful players, just lack in numbers, but when we have the numbers, watch out! Best of luck to you guys as you move up a tier!

Hey thanks Slayer! We have formed a new alliance between many guilds, small to large guilds, all commanders/leaders sit on one teamspeak to coordinate, we have a community forum and community voice chat. My guild is not gonna chicken out and move, constantly moving does not help WvW. We gonna make a stand and bring the server back! Funny thing is since we’ve had to fight outmanned forces for so long, our players are very tough, lots of dodging, lots of seige, not squirmy players that rely purely on zerg numbers. Win or lose, we still support the server. We fight with heart, skill, and have lots of fun!!

It would be nice if Anet changed the scenery of WvW a bit, just like how Fractals mini dungeons have all different scenes/feel. Not more maps, just a winter portion of map, a make Eternal Battlegrounds a lava/fire map, etc. With increased rewards and upgraded interesting scenery, maybe people with participate in WvW more. Give us WvWers some love! <3

I am working on Tier 3 guild upgrades. If I move again, will lose it. We may be getting some guilds to move and combine under us. If plans go right, we’ll have 2 commanders. So we’ll get our say. If you ever wanting to come back, you know I will also strategize with you. Take care my friend.

There are massive battles all the time, crazy. So it is very rewarding when we accomplish things. What WvW should be about, fun battles, challenges, epic battles.
