It costs 1s 68c to identify each piece and if you don’t you’ll lose out on precursors and other nice exotics that sell for decent amount of gold.

identification:

a) those items are pretty much ONLY to salvage. there is apperently a chance to get rare skins out of it if you identify them. but salvaging them gives you A LOT of materials. so I dont agree at all with your point.

b) i am pretty sure the mount control is intentional. It should not feel like controlling our character. You are riding a mount. I never rode a horse, but I am pretty sure it is not exactly like just moving faster than walking/running myself.

c) not sure what you are talking about the first story instance. what exactly is hard about this instance? the trash mobs before the boss? the boss itself that you dont even have to kill, but just have to survive and its only skill is a extremely long shown skill that will teach new players that its effect on the ground means danger to yourself?

I expected a MUCH harder boss when the herald turned up. compared to some of the ls3 bosses this one is a joke.

sure. add tengu, or any other new race. i dont really care.

You do realize that PoF does not require HoT. So yes there are no updrafts or major verticality etc. because there will be players who do not have gliding.

I did the dungeon yesterday with a PUG, wiped once at the golem fight and two times at the end boss. Took us some time but it was fun.

Although I agree with the rather small rewards. It would have been cool if you can get the new armor skins through the dungeon, or at least one piece and the rest from other stuff and not just from the gemstore.

Hahaha the first thing I thought this mornging after I logged in and checked the WvW window was like “oh boy there will be lots of whines and flames again”.

And just the opening post proved me right.

I just love how Auroras and Gandaras are posting here. All you guys said was we will get kitten d in higher tiers with our playstyle. But oh look! We can actually compete with them.

I really enjoy this matchup. It is extremely close. No matter who wins this match I would really like a re-match next week.

Sometimes I think about what our beloved Mods are thinking about these threads. Do they have some kind of “best post of the day”? Or are they just constantly facepalming the moment they begin to work.

So we have the entire map bar Greenbriar and skirmishes with RS at south bay. Next thing we know we’re outmanned and Hills + lake have been rushed by the infamous [DP] Mega blob. Okay whatever, mega blobs, expected this. Made our own to counter yours.

What annoys me is that even with THAT MANY, as soon as you get competition you leave the map… after ONE wipe/loss? Now remove Gandara from the picture here. RS hit hills and clearly wiped you guys as they came away with the keep. As SOON as that fight was over however, our outmanned debuff goes and AM is outmanned. For srs? Where’s the fight in you guys? Changing maps because a situation is hopeless is one thing, changing maps after the lightest bit of resistance however. o.0 (Ofcourse before you all freak out, not the entirety of AM does it blah blah whatever you get my point)

Maybe they had to go to a different borderland to defend one of our points? Please think before you post.

Wow, if this is serious WvW I’m glad I am not part of it. Just listening to you talk to your guild mates would suck all the fun out of the experience for me…

You zoom in on our Gandara blob at 1:38, which is just a portal bomb (so maybe 20 players?). And looking at your green dots on the mini, we are just matching your numbers, defending a Keep… so yeah, there’s going to be a lot of us. XD

Oh great. I gave it a try, despite the blobs etc, went in for 20 mins, ran into 3 blobs (30+ people) on 1 single map. Good job really 30 people vs. 5! The german servers are the worst players I’ve seen by far and the most cowardly aswell. Please drop out of the game, you’re a disgrace to WvW. This is especially AM.

you realize that the enemy zerg seems ALWAYS bigger than your own group. If that was on the reset night I actually was there. But we were in a Guildraid about 20 + some randoms. If you would´ve seen this situation from our perspective it was exactly the other way round. You were more and had the better position. So we retreated back and waited for you to come to us.

And now really? what is your problem? do you searching for every single fight where a AM zerg is retreating because the leader thinks he is in a inferior position?

What I´m talking is about that we won this match-up pretty easy. I must admit that I didn´t play that much this week but the few times I was online I felt no pressure.

And to be honest, as new server in this match-up we pretty much expected to be crushed and end up back in our lower tier again.

I believe ECL left AG(?) So that is really sad, they were really strong last Friday on reset.

@Amelia I only have skilllag when there are threeway battles between big zergs of all server or REALLY REALLY big zergs. But thats very rare.

@Dranul I consider this as much as the battlefield as the one ingame. This one is for the talks the other for the fights.

Lol, I hope so too. Because Tier 4 is just boring right now. Even our lower bracket was harder for us. Ranik and FSP put up really hard fights for us execpt maybe the last week.

And like Nauda said, we were crushed by big zergs long before. And we know how to fight against zergs that doubles or tripples our numbers. Maybe we wont see much light in Tier 3 but we sure wont complain as much.

Victory or defeat we Abaddonians stand pride!

But luckily we will see us again for at least a week and hopefully next weeks match will be more interesting

As Nauda already said, our zergs consists mostly out of random guys.

I wonder how some people play if they become poor only from repairing armor. do you die every 2 steps? i play almost only wvw now for some month and after each play session i have more money, not including the mats i found.
