Guild Wars 2

Having been a member since GW1, this guild is fun and very enjoyable. We range from raids to map stuffs(including us commanding a map!). We strive to help members with any questions, whether it be lore, build and so forth, and we always will be willing to do stuffs ingame! That and off-game we can discuss stuff in discord!

Having been apart of Marked Souls since the old days of GW1, I can say that it is a blast playing with everyone there. Fractals,Raids, and just world stuff, whether it be for those pesky legendary collections, or just chieves.
So, having been apart of them for so long, I can say you will always, ALWAYS have a blast.

Being apart of the guild since 2007(GW1), there is much the guild can offer you. We have done many events in both games, and the events are still happening to this day, a simple example is of our old Nekkid run on GW2’s release, we ran maps with guildies without armor and even people on the map enjoyed it. However that isn’t all that we have done in the past. Such examples as is our growing levels for helping members with levelling in fractals and earning those ascended, and even
legendaries(armor/backpiece/even weapons!) we are striving to help with. So even so, we are here to help our members and future members. If you are looking for a lore expert, we even one of them in our own guild.

For the theme of those legends, I’d suggest taking a lookie at these in your Wardrobe. Hope this helps you in the long run!

Ventari – Any Plant related or Modniir weapons (Hall of Monuments weapons works amazing on him!) – Yggdrasil works aswell.

Petra Cuathon and Thorgim Cuathon (Sister & Brother revenants)

Charr in my opinion, just the lore and the creations they make just fit the Engineer. (You can see some of their tankies/helicopters in Orr or Silverwastes).
Second would be Asura, since they are intelligent and so on(I don’t have many Asuras sadly..)
Third, the usual Human. Self explanatory.
Fourth is lastly Norn, but lore-wise maybe not very fitting… Still it is fun to play as a giant Norn throwing itsy bitsy grenades.

Yep, I’m guilty as charged. Everything is literally prepared in there. Those runes of Strength are for a build I’m planning on running for the Revenant. (The pack runes are for chronomancer)

My adorable little Charr Engineer and his chinese Dragon.

Naming mine after a well known character in the Wheel of Time series. The character is which people think the character Rand Al’thor is, you can most likely guess what the first name will be. Second name will be inspired by another character known as Matrim Cuathon.

(Aka it will be this: Therin Cuathon)

Being a member since 2007 – to now I can vouch that MkS is a guild which will support you, whether it be in PvP(& WvW) or PvE, or even builds if you are struggling. Marked Souls is very open minded, and very understandable of others.
Heck back in the Guild Wars 1 days, they helped me finish the hall of monument track before the release of Guild Wars 2!

It looks fine to me, after all it beats having a hobosack everytime you use the kit. The most I’d suggest is doing Black lion sales with Engi kit skins, though this is most likely not going to happen.

I’m predicting a hammer that would encourage power and ferocity. If not probably something more of a tanker. The armor it had on made it looked like a blacksmith so it could focus on toughness and condi too.

Hopefully, guess we’ll wait and see once they release some more information about the hammer. All we can guess from the minimal footage in the trailer is there may be possible “flying turrets”(Though that could just be a new utility skill).

But as I said before we’ll wait and see, and hopefully it’ll look good with the Scientific Hammer and/or Aetherized hammer skins! (As in the skill FX, ect.)

Epic choice. I’ve named my little Charr Engi “Kolt Winchester” inspired by the Colt pistol and Winchester rifle :p. Though personally, I don’t think it would be as good as the other previously mentioned names.

Lol, seeing my name here prompted me to release another video, Thanks! Sorry I’ve been so lazy about them, I guess I will make more of an effort from now.
I don’t tend to do tips or advice videos (Wolfineer/Teldo has that covered) mainly just interesting WvW engagements. I’m happy to take requests though.

Hehe take your time Prozap, life and what is important these days is what counts. And you needn’t apologize, even my own channel is lacking my Charr Engi WvW gameplay aswell(Due to PC issues). Just upload when you can, it isn’t like anyone is forcing ya.

I’m sort of with Epi on this. Stealth is a means of escape and confusion, most thieves (Hopefully) already know this, with a added bonus depending on traits of damage. However being a stealth thief(Running Koroshi’s build, I suggest searching it up on Youtube), I would be willing to adapt and would put my dodges and escapes to good use for once. We do have – Shadowstep, infiltrators signet,along with shortbow #6 (Infiltrators Arrow) for a reason, either to move along the battlefield or to well, as the name suggest, infiltrate.

Either way, in wvw I haven’t encountered one Stealth-debuff trap yet.. But I still believe with every change we need to adapt. Adapting is what makes YOU stronger(Both ingame and RL), if you can’t, then what is there to say..
Anyway, just remember to adapt and adjust to the new change and we will all be good, we need to use our evasive skills and dodging to use with the new update, not being upset that we cant stealth anymore(Even if our builds run on pure stealth). It just means a new set of skills that you need to learn (If you haven’t…)

That’s my 2 cents, being a stealth thief. Adapting and adjusting, is all which is needed.
P.S. I think Anet was smart adding it, then we can finally stop Mesmer’s Veils when they take towers,keeps,garrisons, or even a Thieves shadow refuge on the other side.

I’ve joined in early 2008, and I do not regret it. This guild has been fun with questing, and the events are just astounding, I truely love MkS, and what it stands for, and the people in it. The members, oh boy the members are unforgettable how much of a blast they are to be around with, such as Kousei,Zap,Lyne,and Lori (And the rest of course!).

And ontop of that, MkS is laid back, but also competitive when we want to do some fun. Its been like that since GW1 infact.
And to be frankly honest, I’ll stay in MkS until the last days (Of my life.). That is how much I enjoy the people and the mindset this place is built around.
