ya figured there probably wasnt many out there since i dont normally see any warriors with hammers in general…. Chullster, could u swap in knights armor w/ berserker trinkets/rings/weapons/etc. just to give urself alil extra in the way of armor?
can anyone link me some up to date PvE builds for the warrior that implement the hammer?
lol kitten sooo much info…. ya i think my issue is not bein able to keep things up 80% or w/e the number r for like fay’s support…. i mean when im in stackinng fights ive got just about everything up the whole fight but other times i struggle to get even 5 boons up… now ive been using mantras in the build im using now, and it heals only on the initial cast right?… not when u cast the charges?….
awesome ya i was looking the chaos maestro over and i really like it… i mean fay’s support has been fun but i dont feel like im helping as much as i’d like…. the healings pretty good and if i can get close to the enemy or have a guardian in grp the boon sharing is good and i can keep up 25 stack might pretty frequently but its been alil harder to boon share lately and im looking to try another option.
scratch that last comment i made… i found them…. im liking the paladin and chaos maestro builds…. r they both up to date? i only ask bcuz im not sure how much anet has buffed or nerf’d the mesmer class…. my main is a engi and we all know how thats gone the last few months…
very cool…. is that post one build? or r there a few sprinkled in it?…. so much written its hard to tell lol….
I have been using http://www.destinysedge.net/fay/mesmer/panacea.html build but im not sure if its out of date or not. I would like to keep my mesmer in a supportive role through dungeons and fotm. If anyone has some advice or an up to date build that fits that description it would be very much appreciated!
i guess the only other question i have is if there is any way to implement shield/weapon into one of these builds (since i was hoping to have mine use shield)?

working on a guardian and was wondering if anyoone could link me a good tanky build for the guardian… the one that i had found was deleted (out-of-date i guess) and now im not sure where to go!

thats good to hear…. i havent been away THAT long but its been some time… im cond. nades, and i was tryin to keep it that way… but when KR got nerfed and then they started messin with other things i just said i gotta get out for a bit… and when i say r they ignoring us still i mean is ANET still got this forum tab hidden so they dont have to see or hear what the community has to say…. cuz it sure as hell feels that way…
i’ve been away for a bit and just wanted to see what’s new? has there been any more nerfs? did we finally get a buff? is ANET still ignoring the eff outta us? stopped playin bcuz its gotten old having to change builds/strategies every patch, so let me know if it’s worth gettin back in!
well i was condition nades multi kit b4 the patch… and ive been doing a hgh-Esq build since and i dont like it…. not that fun… i like grenades and this seemed like a good build to try…. im rocking rabid gear …. and i was starting to grab soldier back, rampager amulet and trinks, and rabid rings…. i didnnt even realize turret had removal on overcharge… what if i added elixir c to healing turret?
This build this pretty fun…. could it be easily modified to rabid armor/rampage/soldier gear? and how often does the turret cleanse proc for ya? my biggest issue is condition removal

It’s not about synergy with Speedy Kits though, it’s just about being able to reliably predict when the effect will proc and when it will not. If I haven’t used Med Kit in about 20s I should know without a doubt that when I do use it I will get Magnetic Shield. Currently I do not because I was also using Bomb Kit, or Tool Kit, or swapping between FT and Elixir Gun. It’s impossible to keep track of when the last effect fired and also be able to predict when the next one will fire unless you are drastically reducing the amount you swap kits, which brings me back to that being against the spirit of the Engineer.
I’m glad to hear you don’t want it to feel random, but unfortunately that’s exactly what it currently does for most players that I have heard from. I think simply making each effect on its own cooldown, even if you want to keep it 20s which I think is a little long, would do wonders for this. Was this on the table at any point, or is it now?
this is great, but that still doesn’t fix how pointless some of the KR skills r now… im sorry but the Elixir guns KR skill is pointless… and with the KR being nerfed ives had to choose between drastically changing my engineers build (which sucks cuz i built him up with gear and traits to be a kit user), rebuild from scratch (which i think is stupid) or just playing another class… it sucks becuz i love the engineer class, its the most fun class ive played but the nerf has left me at a standstill with him…
I didn’t read through all the other posts, but the way I’ve been doing it is using p/p skills slowly making my way towards target, switch into grenade kit when on top of the target and hit skill 2, 3 and 5… then spam 1 until u get another 2 up hit it… throw down a frost grenade and then evade out to range again…. honestly, moving with grenades just takes getting used to… i hated it at first and now i do it w/o a second thought.
lol first time seeing a Dev in this forum… and they come in when someone starts talking about turret builds… hmmmm…something not many engi’s want…hmmmmmm
im interested in this build…. what gear r u rollin with for it? … i was condition nades w/ KR b4 the patch and have been snoopin for something new that isnt too far off from what ive got.
ya im gonna make that tweak…. i think carrion is a way better armor set to go with for this build…. i mean ive been goin tough in the early goin… but with ele’s havin low hp i think vit. is gonna be a better stat to hold on to….besides i think ill put rabid on rings or accessories later on too

I made an asura ele and wanted his focus to be earth…. hes not very high in lvl yet but i’d like to keep him earth… does any one have a build they could link me that focuses earth?

u mean in the newer looking build?…. if so no, i was thinking it would give me more CD to have blood injection after i had to take some points outta firearms

very true…. u know what I’ve been wondering since the patch?…. i’m wondering y Anet hasn’t put in there 2 cents to the engie’s here as to exactly y they chose this or to at least address our concerns and worries…. i have literally not played on my engie since patch bcuz i look at him and the skill points and have no idea what to do with them…. for me I would feel maybe a little bit better if i could hear from a dev. on our concerns… buuuuuuutttt i’m pretty sure that wont happen…

For me the KR elixir is not just handy because its a second elixir, its because there is 0 activation time involved.
no its exactly that that’s making it hard on alot of multi kit users….. u got an instant sElixer and then u could use the reserve for elixer…. if kitten got too hot at close range with grenades u could use acid jump to get range and then cont. with ur dps…. all in all, anet devs need to stop forcing things with engineers and let us play it out the way we see fit

well with the latest patch effin’ things up… i was wondering if any other engie’s out there had advice for what i could swap out i my build to get the survivability i had with KR…. i like the condition nades build i had and it dealt with multiple kits….. I’ve already built up my gear for condition nades and don’t wanna start at square one again bcuz of anets choices… any help is appreciated!
This patch like probably a lot of u eff’d up my survivability inn fotms and alot of other dungeons…. i was condition nades, with medkit…grenades and elixer gun…. i thrived off of using the explosion medkits offered at close range and the condition remover drop KR gave elixer gun… tried fotm and was gettin kicked around cuz i had nothing to go off of at any range…. anyone with around the same build have an idea of how i can get a condition remover now?

dont know what stats i should be focusing on for a dps style build… i was goin towards a focus on rabids, but everything i read says otherwise. where should my focus be?
Alright so i like the mesmer class, and i really want to make mine more support based, healing and giving boons and gettin rid of conditions, while still be able to help a grp with dmg. is it possible?… if so whats the build look like and what stats should i be making a priority?

pretty self explanatory… i like the head armor my necro started with and would like to transmute its look onto higher leveled gear… is it possible?

Flamethrower is fine for PvE. Tanky, good aoe damage and minimal effort to play. Go 0/30/10/30/0 with full knight’s equipment and either precision runes + lifesteal food or might stacking runes. Direct damage > condition damage for the flamethrower, especially since your might stacks will provide you with more than adequate condition damage.

I’ve tried Grenades, but it was murder on my fingers. I’m currently doing mostly DEs, and World Completion with a FT HGH build triple dipping on Might duration runes. For WvW and Dungeons I’ll add in EG and swap some traits around if necessary.

I’ve been rocking an engi since launch and have kinda stuck to dps. However, my dps is so so. I need to up my gear but im not sure where to go with my build. Right now im using a condition dmg/power/precision-vitality FT/elixirs build with 0/30/0/30/10 in traits. Guess i wanna know whether i should change my build alil or start from scratch before i get in too deep.
