As far as my testing with a bunch of Queen Jenna minis I had sitting in the bank goes, they get hidden regardless of being called out the new way or the old way.

In either case, though… they basically removed mini pets from most of the game. This morning, around 10AM Eastern, I tested every zone. My mini pet only stuck around in cities and instances. No open/public zone allowed my mini pet to remain.

Astral Projections.7320:

Just to be warned, if you account bind the minis and toggle them to display, they don’t show all the time. The game culls them out when the population in a map gets high enough. If that’s important to you, you might want to use them the old way.

The mini pets get hidden even if you use them the old way… at least as far as my testing with a pile of Queen Jenna minis goes.

It’s annoying, essentially minis were removed from most of the game. Yay feature pack! lol

The way it works is that unless the projectile source is effectively on top of the warden, the projectile will only be blocked, not reflected. Yes, they broke it. More. Again.

None of my testing has been able to reproduce this. I’ve been all over the place and into a dungeon and FotM and everything that was being reflected, still is. The only condition being that the projectile going into the Warden’s AoE… and that’s always been the case.

Don’t get me wrong. I’ve hated every time they “fix” the Warden and break it further/in a different way. I’m just not seeing these issues.

My Warden is:

• Reflecting the same projectiles it was reflecting before.
• Destroying the same projectiles it was destroying before (e.g. FotM Mining Suit Boss bombs).
• Doing the above to projectiles in the same areas it was before.

I just tested this on a massive number of grubs and all of their projectiles were reflected, not just the grub I summoned Warden on.

I think that the fact that the conversation is even happening (all over the GW2 related internet and in game, lol) means we should probably get some clarification… which was all I originally wanted.

I think everyone knows that some people believe X will happen and some will believe Y. Only ANet knows.

I sincerely appreciate the quoting and such.

Mostly it is the “When you unlock a dye after the feature pack is released” part that is tripping people up. I agree that it is likely referring to after the patch as opposed to using the word to exclude before the patch. But it’s still ambiguous to many people.

I also agree that the unidentified “gift” for pre-existing duplicates would probably not exist if they weren’t going to be unlocked… it just still doesn’t say that exactly.

Like I said, I agree with these posts.

Lil Puppy: I don’t disagree with you or think you’re wrong… More like I just don’t see ANet confirming this anywhere and the blog wording is unclear. Hopefully they’ll confirm somewhere when they sticky.

To many people, both video and ESPECIALLY the wording of the blog post are very unclear.

The dyes I have unlocked prior to the 4/15 update… will they be unlocked account wide? Or are players using dyes before all of this needing a second copy of each one?

Example: I have unlocked Black Cherry on MesmerBob on 4/14. On 4/16, does EngiBob also have access to Black Cherry?

Shatter DPS is much lower than Phantasm builds for PvE.

I don’t think “much” (whatever that means) is accurate… especially for those who know how to play a shatter build. That aside, I did say in my post that the primary point of value was that it was fun and more active. Phantasm builds, to use your example, are very simple and not very active.

It just depends on what you enjoy (which I also said in my post).

Cleared through fractals, speedy clears on dungeons, seems like it’s working ok.

Shatter build w/ Warden is still the most fun and active/involved for people that like to be doing a lot. Mostly Sw/Focus with Sw/Pi or GS based on the situation.

…just depends on how you define fun. This is a more fun style of play (for me) than a Phantasm or Mantra build. Hasn’t kept me from clearing anything quickly or completing level 49 Fractals.

We are Binary Alliance [BA]… a semi-casual, traditionally PvE guild (but recently having tons of fun in WvW too). Most of our members are sarcastic muggles/punks/crazies in their 20’s and 30’s who like to joke around and have a good time while gaming.

What makes us special? In all seriousness, our biggest concerns are compatibility and community. When recruiting, we like to find people who are a good fit for our guild – that means fun, friendly, casual and willingness to be team players. Legendary weapons, map completion, and achievement points are not how we judge applicants – serious, leet-core gamers do not get preferential treatment.

We recruit in small batches, chat with new applicants and get to know people before giving them full membership.

We care about who we recruit and therefore don’t accept all applicants. This doesn’t mean that people we reject are bad players, but it simply means that they aren’t the right fit. I didn’t get credit for 2nd Queensdale one, it was already opened for some reason.

Looks like there is an issue with one of the towers counting toward Balloon Tower Tourist.

I backtracked from the start of my run to verify I didn’t just forget to grab a chest and verified all 12 chests that I had hit were open (though I only have achievement credit for 11).

I did:

I THINK the one that didn’t give me credit was the tower just north of Krytan Waypoint (Krytan Freeholds).

Hope all of the trial users are enjoying the game… feel free to join our community while checking out the game!

We did another guild rush last night and it worked ok, but we all sat until the timer ran out to make sure. Not that ANet would have done anything if it hadn’t worked.

So I am not sure if it is related, but when the first one did not give us credit, even though we completed it, we had all left (we finished within 10 minutes so we didn’t want to sit around for 20 minutes). Maybe staying for the timer to run out is necessary? I don’t know.

After several back and forth messages (because I guess they normally don’t bother giving details? I don’t know… I really had to drag it out of them to get more than a one sentence reply) they basically said, “We cannot credit you the merits, it usually works so you’ll just have to do it again.”

Ahh well… at least Rushes are more fun than Bounties and Treks.
