Ranged is only good in a handful of fights.
Favourite so far? Crucible of Eternity. That dungeon gave me so much grief when I first started, now it’s just faceroll and I’m usually typing to guildies during Alpha. So yeah it has a bit of nostalgic value. Sorrow’s Embrace has a lot of potential, shame those Rare’s don’t salvage for ectos…
Though if I ever find a group to take me I have high hopes for Arah, Lupicus looks quite fun!I agree about Caudecus’s Manor, I change all utilities to stability/stunbreakers before entering that hell-hole. It’s almost like WvW the way you get CC ganked. AC I have a bit more tolerance for because I loved the original, though I now refuse to do Path 2 unless I’m with a solid group.
You have time to type during alpha? He dies too quick.

Every new dungeon in Living Story gets better and better.
And every new dungeon in Living Story shares the same problem. ITS NOT PERMANENT.

Golem = Inquest
Destroyer = it’s a brain teaser… Destroyer
Obsidian Scantum Achievement made me report 20 people, at that point I stopped counting and I am still lieing on the ground, reporting everyone who lays a hand on my mates.

Correct! I think some of you are making assumptions that living world means the stuff we’ve done the last few months and that’s all you’re going to see. My point is saying we’ve seen folks feedback and are adjusting that strategy to include a much larger mix of permanent updates going forward.
Dungeons will be part of this strategy, living world teams will be doing work on our permanent dungeons rather than them being ignored, the types of things you’re asking for will be rolled into living world updates to give a reason for them happening in the world. It simply means we’re going to be doing more of exactly what you’re asking for here in this thread, but under the context of a story of why it happens in the world, rather than just magically have it appear (as happened with AC).
Hope that helps a bit, I’m actually agreeing with a lot you, apparently that wasn’t clear enough!
Edited to add: We also plan to do a lot of reward work across the board, including on our dungeons, but we’ll go into more specific detail on that in July as a comprehensive summary.

Yeah I’m not too keen on the living story content. Outside of mechanics and gameplay, the problem here is you’ve unleashed weapons of mass destruction on the world (Elder Dragons) and I just have little to no interest in ‘wasting my time’ with anything else. What’s the point of having a living world when there are half a dozen big bads out there that can literally destroy -everything-
Things I can get behind and support:
Taking out Elder Dragons or mitigating their destructiveness
Finding out what happened in Elona with Palawa Joko
Cantha
Human Gods
Whats going on with the rest of the world.Things that I simply cannot care about:
Dredge alliance being a minor nuisance
Sad leaf man. (iunno, the whole SS content was so ridiculous I never even logged in)
Pirates. Again.With mechanics and gameplay, I just want some group content that has more depth than a spoon.

I was wrong before it has nothing to do with the NPC. I haven’t been able to manipulate it 100% but if you do not attack Frost before killing your last rifle turret then it seems the instance will bug out.

You don’t NEED anything.. If you want to spend 14 hours in a dungeon running full Ranger way then do it.

The dungeon team has been disbanded for ~4 months. Talked to a dev and he hinted they are going to rework a dungeon after the next upcoming patches.
It has to do with the NPC dying back at Seamus.
first game that hate melee players… some classes can switch weapon and use one ranged and one melee, i love to play ele dd and i can do anything for keep playing with that weapon, so i have to use staff and i hate it… pls do something about that
This game doesn’t hate melee.. You just hate your dodge button.
Maintain stability (SYG+Hallowed Ground) and stand by Grast . Then just DPS him down.

No, this API is not one that ties directly into the game client. It’s merely a set of web-based JSON interfaces for accessing game data, and none of the current interfaces support that kind of data.
However, there are plans for implementing OAuth2, meaning you can log in to the API to access account/guild data. Once that’s in place, they might release an API for character-map data, which someone could use to write an overlay program.
Alright, thanks for the reply.. I really hope they do that because it would be nice to have an overlay for the Bounty Boss paths also.
Would it be possible to make an overlay that displayed a transparent map of the map that you are working on completing? Something like the map overlay in Diablo 2?
