Hey, it’s not only that they are everywhere I kinda realized how huge organization they are… Bigger than our ‘good hearted’ asura?
And they didn’t say a word about ‘new’ Rata? Did I miss some facts?
We’ve got new weapons this year for halloween which are cool, I realy like them.
But I’m kinda dissapointed as game goes on and years pass by, and we have no pumpkin-like backpiece so far which I think would be nice to wear :- )
If you (Anet) didnt plan to add this, at least I gave you idea :- )

I’m sorry guys, but I don’t think we will get anymore playable races. Anet has surprised lately though, so maybe… But I think the chances are very low, so don’t get your hopes too high.
Yea, think so too…. more likely we will get new weapon types, like polearms maybe ? :- )
According to the way gw1 and gw2 looks, we might be able to have playable races like skirts and maybe dregde or birdlike humanoids (dont remmember race name) in gw3 :- p

But, what makes you reminded me is about Canach/Caithe and other Sylvari…
When playing as Sylvian in Zaithan story line we met a Sylvian from other ‘Pale Tree’.
I missed something while playing from that time, or this plot is dead ?
i am struggling to get the last vista in Ember Bay (Osprey pillars vista). do i need to have the ley line gliding mastery to be able to reach it or am i missing something really obvious?

Maybe if you get to highest spot on vulcano you might be able to glide down there, didnt tried that one :- P
I only gave examples of what I’d like to hear. Talking to NPCs is a very, very basic thing players who don’t just play for loot expect to be able to do. We want NPCs to give further information to give background and context to what is happening. Take Taimi’s Game for example. At the end of the instance you can’t even speak to Taimi. She’s stood there but all she’s got for you is a Big Pile o’ NOPE – to me that’s not right.
Got your point wifh Taimi here, and so wifh all other acts like this. I didnt even think to talk to her, as she said so many things while ‘The Game’ was on :- )
Anyway, would be good for you if she would just ‘write’ all the same what she just said ? :- )
I’m not asking and wouldn’t expect explicit explanations of everything. For the record though, I’d expect the guardians of Glint’s legacy to know a tiny bit about what they’re doing, why they’re doing it and what makes Aurene worth caring for. I never expected to be told what Aurene’s purpose is or what she’s expected to grow up to be.

It’s all about background and context for those of us who don’t want to just rush through, grab the loot and log off.
I don’t think, any of those who visist this part of forum is rush and quit RPG player :- )

Why can’t we speak to the NPCs in the story instances to get more information? Surely text is such a cheap extra thing to add in.
Why can’t Taimi tell me about this new Krewe of hers at the end of Taimi’s Game? Why can’t the Luminate or Ruka tell me more about Maureen (Aurene) after the final story instance? Why doesn’t Caithe have anything to say? Why can’t Windall give me more stories of his time in the Fire Islands while he’s being treated by medics?
Too many missed opportunities in story telling for a full 10/10 from me.

What do you want to hear (read) from Ruka or any other about the dragon, as it’s new for them as well … ? :- o
Shouldn’t they ask you, as Commander, some question as you are babies champion?
There are so many episodes to give us some new informations. Windall might be taking part in next episode as e.g your talking travel guide backpack wifh lot of stories :- )

Caithe was a bit weird to see her at the egg chamber. Still no Kasmeer or Braham? I wonder what is happening to them.
As Jormag is active too, Braham might be quite busy now in Hoelbrak/Shiverpeaks

I’d shoot we are going to combo-double-kill primordus and jormag then face the overbeefed krallk and I always forget about deep sea dragon…..
I rather believe that Elder Dragons are enemies to each others, and we will take advantage from it, than combo-double-kill’em … :- )
I didn’t like the model of baby dragon, it was too cute. When you put it side by side to Teq/Jormag and other dragons/elders it doesn’t look like dragon from GW :- (
Had hope it will be like Shatterer as they are from same (Glint’s child) ‘familly’, aint they ?

Isn’t that, Dwarfes turned to stone just to defeat Primo’s champion only – to delay his waking up – than vanish?
Do we have any info about them still fighting?
Primo woke up, as in events before LS3 launch, its minions were collecting magical energy in events which are quite dead now :- ( (those events builded up his strength)
PS.
Things I wonder the most. Are Elder Dragons realy biggest treat to Tyria? I think ‘no’ – overflowing magic is, where Glint’s egg born (anytime) dragon might bring balance?
Or we will stop killing Dragons and let them consume ‘us’.

So I was going through the new area of the Silverwastes and I thought the water at your feet thing was a graphical bug. In past releases I had wondered about the state of Maguuma and the suggestion that Mordremoth creates jungle, not desert. Why is Maguuma drying up?
Here is the line about the Maguuma Jungle from the GW1:
The higher elevations are mostly devoid of water. Only the largest and hardiest of plants can live here. But down farther, closer to the water table, the Maguuma grows thick. The vegetation can become so dense that there are areas of the jungle floor that have never been touched by the sun’s light. — The Guild Wars Manuscripts
So the water table is down low, it may have just been partially buried by sands.
I forget where it came from, but years back the theory that Maguuma Jungle became the Maguuma wastes because of Mordremoth was born. Basically it said Mordremoth leeched all the magic from the region and killed off the plants. In Camp Resolve an NPC recognises this theory (as fan theories are in game – Priory Scholars) but she challenges it.
Player: What is this place?
Tactician Yivva: The Silverwastes: a haggard and treacherous desert. But we think it might once been a great forest.
Player: What happened to it?
Tactician Yivva: Some of the Priory scholars believe Mordremoth has leeched this land of its magic, leaving it in this state.
Player: And you disagree?
Tactician Yivva: I do. Mordremoth’s corruption sprouts jungle, not desert. I suspect something else ruined this place.To me this was a hint to rethink the reason why Maguuma dried up. The old theory is wrong and the truth is going to be revealed soon. I was stuck thinking about that until this release when I saw the hylek in the Far Silverwastes, a giant ship in the middle of a desert and the water footprints “graphical bug” (notice the footprints only “bug” on certain levels of terrain and not all terrain?).
My idea for this is might be quite complicated and hit few topics on forum…
So, state of Magumma is not done by Dragons as everyone know they are magic eaters not water drinkers (ofc if that wasn’t magic water all over the jungle)
I came out wifh idea of Malyck Tree which is suppost to be somewhere deeper in Magumma, w/o Dream and valors of Grove, acting a bit like parasite to terrain?
Sylvari aint minions of dragons, but as ‘plant’ type humanoids that are easy to be corrupted by Jungle Dragon? At start of sylvari character we r fighting Tree type dragon? Could it be ‘fighting the personal corruption’? (But is quite out of chronology) In other hand Dragons might be a lil bit active all the time, enought to corrupt dream in this case…
And about Caithe and her secret? Wynne dead? How ppl even know about it? My idea for this, she is not dead, but living on the other side of cave wifhin sylvaries from other Tree, and secret is about that, Caith let her go, lying to Faolin… or some, somehow I cant accept Wynne to be dead as it’s just too easy :- > Which also explains why Wynne is not around us in Tyria we know in GW2, she throu away dream but didnt accept nightmare … becoming ‘free’.
Plus whats about egg, as its Glint ‘kid’, and as young eventual Dragon it wont be able to fight Elders as it will be too weak, but maybe it will be strong enought to undo other Dragon corruption(Krait orb from Zhaitan story), in which other Sylvarie Tree felt down, as its close to Mordie.
According to that Caithe run away behind that doors(cave) we saw in the end of last episode, wifh egg too actually heal other Tree? :- )

Since there is also some indication that the other tree might not have a dream it’s possible that they would be minions, but not necessarily dragonspawn.
True, but I complain that the story is starting to ask more questions than its willing to answer, which is part of the reason I’m so fond of the idea of Malyck making a return to the story-if nothing else just to tie up that loose end.
I’m fine with the asking questions and I think they do answer a lot of questions (although the tend to introduce 2 for every 1 they answer). Whats starting to tire me is how we go from one mystery plot to the next. Why did the Zepherites crash? Why is Aerin crazy? What is going on with this magic symbol with the Pale Tree in it? What’s up with the Pale Tree vision? Oh so the Master has the egg and is protecting it, mystery solved, but now we have another mystery with Caithe. Somehow I see us resolving Caithe’s little sub plot only to get yet another mystery sub plot going XD
It’s not necessarily bad, but it’s starting to feel that whenever the story starts rolling and I really get into it we run into another mystery sub-plot that we have to wait 2 or more weeks to maybe answer it. [/quote]

The first part about her killing Malyck I’ve held to for a long time and believe that is what Scarlet knows about her and perhaps if the second part of my theory is correct Scarlet may know about Caithe’s relationship with the second tree as well.

“Zhaitan’s will/power took them over” means that the Risen’s minds were corrupted…
Do they even have mind since they are actually corpses? Many Risen are just “mindless”, they don’t possess intelligence and were just driven by Zhaitan’s will.
Somewhere in asura story mode it’s said something about Zhaitan’s will in risen, which means that mob was stronger having more Dragon’s will, like he had corrupted body, not mind, by more or less magic power ?
