It’s not as difficult as you may think. They can drop from a certain mob, they can be found in a certain dungeon and they can be crafted in the mystic forge from cores. You don’t want to saturate the market because there needs to be resources of different rarities. You wouldn’t everything to be the price of butter, now do you?
Lots of ways to make gold. I’m assuming you’re lvl 80 since you’re shooting for tier 3. Cursed Shore is a really popular area to farm, specifically the Plinx event chain. You can also try flipping items in the TP, although that takes patience and requires you to follow the market of the items that you want to flip quite closely. As well, if you’re feeling really lucky, try playing around with the mystic forge.
Another option is to create a 1-man guild and buy/earn the influence to upgrade Guild Vault/Treasure Trove. Might take awhile and is not very accessible out of town, but a ton of space to store additional stuff.
I find this to be the problem for a lot of the DE Champions. They have a ton of health and the fight becomes monotonous. There are a few fights with interesting mechanics (ie. Dragons, Spider Queen, certain Dungeon Champs), but the majority of fights are quite boring especially with few people around.
I’m afraid I disagree. How would an expiration date help with the problem you’ve described? Wouldn’t the crafted items go from sitting in the TP to sitting in the pickup/inventory/bank of the poster? On top of that, you would lose the gold you initially paid for the listing. I, personally(and I’m sure many others), use the TP as ways to get rid of crafted items that I have no use for rather than have them waste precious inventory or bank space.
Downloading speeds are just fine. I’m averaging 1.1MB/sec.
Probably pre-loading some of the Lost Shore stuff.
Thanks for the link. I’ll get in touch with them to see if they’re still active.
I doubt it’s a mistake. Something being wrong by an order of magnitude should have been hot-fixed asap. Besides, dungeon runs give you a good amount of karma as well (~1.8k) and can take even less time than doing dailies.
@claude, Diminishing Returns. Code to prevent you from staying in an area for too long. You can notice this in effect when doing DE chain (ie. Plinx). After ~2hours or so, you will notice the rewards being lower and lower until you stay away from that area for awhile.
@Mira, it is not too difficult to farm up 1 – 1.5G / hour @ Plinx with decent MF. Ritual did mention that he makes that much in ~10 hours, so Plinx would be my guess. Another possibility could be playing the TP and finding different items to flip, but that could get tedious real quick.
I’m interested in joining a merchant guild (if one exists in GW2). One that is focused on the economy of the game and that has members interested in discussing various investment options.
I’m a dedicated player and will work hard to create an enjoyable atmosphere within the guild.
Preferably based in GoM and EST time zone (not too big of a deal).
Feel free to contact me in game, send a guild invite or reply to this post.
-Thanks.
