I’m wondering if there is anything out there that is still being updated? I used Orrmaps for a long time but lately it seems every map is outta wack, yesterday I seen my name on the list of updated maps from 3 hours ago when I have not updated a map on my account for probably 2 week..
I’m with a small group roaming guild, usually man between 5-10 players roaming in WvW, currently on T1 server and the current T1 zerg meta has taken it’s toll.
My question is, the lower you go down in tier is there anything different? Is it still incredibly zergy on every map and tons of skill lag?
Is it possible to find more guilds like mine that are looking for the same thing in the lower tiers? Thanks for replies
Culling fix certainly helps roaming, but my experience so far is that the karma train only got larger (but worse, too).
I agree, now with the WEXP everyone is playing with the “need it now” concept.

They all go straight to the commander tag because it’s the same concept as the Karma train, but now it’s a Karma/WEXP train.
Anet decided to not address the problem with the disgusting WvW meta of get 80 people stacked up and run over everything, therefore us small scale players have it worse than ever.
I once drempt of a server that had people roaming around in 5-15 man groups all over the maps looking for battles… then I woke in in tier 1 and realized my dream would never come true. Now my nights are filled with every once in awhile finding a couple people to fight, and diving into zergs to see how many people I can take down before I die.
i never heard anyone use jigga in any nevative way when i was in Ft Benning. and i was there for a good amount of time. also in Ft Bragg, NC, i havent heard anyone use it either.
I have heard the word Jigga used in the same contexts as if there was a N instead of the J, which I can see why they would have an issue, but I do feel if you have no past infractions a ban was too harsh for a mistake.
Your maturity level really shines through on that last post Brewer. Gaile Gray shows that you have been banned 5 times now, and you keep coming to the forums to complain about Anet being ban happy… This is just like real life, people that break the law get punished and complain, and all the good people of society sit back and laugh at you for being so stupid.

Who says “hellheal” has anything to do with religion? Lol I got a 7 day suspension for having a character named “Jbrewer Godofpvp”.. You know Arenanet wonders why this game is dead, and why WoW is SO much more successful? Well it’s mainly because Blizzard doesn’t go around banning their paying customers for tiny reasons like Arenanet does, Arenanet rewards the groups of players that go around trying to get people banned by reporting as many people as they can, IN FACT I know of a guild on henge of denravi that used to just spam reports on a commander on an enemy team to get them banned and they literally successfully got several commanders banned. And that ruins the community of a game when everytime you interact with a player in any way they find something wrong with you and threaten to have their entire guild report you. With a game like WoW you are treated better as a customer, you aren’t going to get a 7 day suspension for having “god” in your name because banning someone for 7 days for something THAT SMALL is ridiculous and any professional company will agree with that. Arenanet has probably banned more than half the community of this game roflmao(and they keep wondering why it’s dead), they really show how immature and unprofessional they are by not caring that you are a PAYING CUSTOMER and just issuing bans to whoever gets reported for the SLIGHTEST reasons. And in fact I can see them giving me a forum ban just for saying what I said here, just for voicing my opinion. You did not deserve a ban and neither did the other 90% of players they have issued bans to.

You were reported multiple times, and were suspended — not for “no reason” or for one of “the smallest reasons” — but because you deserved it.
There’s your mature, professional, and competent response. Now, consider the suspensions and the reasons for them (which I believe you well knew before demanding details). Reconsider your in-game (and on-forum) behavior. And conduct yourself more prudently in the future.

IMO you should just get a perma ban so we don’t ever have to deal with you anymore. So stop ranting about Anet banning for no reason when you are lucky to still have an account from all the crap you have pulled so far.
Seems to be the other way around from what I hear. You do realize I’ve got many friends in Blackgate, a lot of which were former KnT that left your guild for one the reasons I did – poor leadership and nothing getting done. They’re so far the only people to have wiped me. Meanwhile every time I’ve seen KnT they’re getting wiped or fleeing. I will say it was enjoyable getting 2 bags after stomping you yesterday.

I wish I could get off on stomping entire groups of SoR alone as well as you must on flattering yourself. I wonder how many of my 1,000 most recent kills were you or your guildmates.

My guild that I represent isn’t a WvW guild, and was busy doing FOTM while I was stomping BG, and the only death I had was from a cliff. Yeah forgot to turn my trait on.

I was in WvW while my guild was in FOTM. If you think I am wrong, feel free to post the name of at least one of my guildmates. I rolled with Choo, Fear, and TW while in WvW. Didn’t die once in the entire time I’ve played in WvW, besides the time I tumbled off a cliff while forgetting to change my trait to the reduce fall damage.

This is the first match up I have enjoyed in a long time. Thank you all for making the game fun again!
I think a lot of players have the exact opposite feeling about this week, at least a lot of the guys I run with on Blackgate. Blackgate has quite a few guilds that are designed for smaller scale WvW (groups of 10-15) that like to stray away from the basic “ride the commander tag” style. I found it very rare to find many smaller scale battles this week.
In my opinion (not trying to start anything because obviously by the score this week was hard fought with 3 great servers) T1 is too zergy.. I’m not calling any server out because all 3 do it, but for people looking for smaller scale battles that concentrate more on group comp and coordination, there isn’t much here for us in this match-up at the moment.
Hopefully after everything settles in the coming weeks (JQ and BG will be playing against each other for a long time to come it looks like) people will start straying away from the zerg and looking for some of these battles as well.

According to you, the server that is currently WINNING TIER 1… Isnt Tier 1 material. I love when I see that you posted on the forums because I know I’m in for a good laugh. Do your server a favor Raven and just stay off the forums.
Iv done 2 guild missions with my guild so far(30+ guildies involved each time), which means 60+ chests we have gotten from completing them.. Each chest gives 2 items that are guaranteed to be rare+.
That means from my experience over 120+ items that are guaranteed to be rare+ we have 1 recorded random exotic.
I don’t think your chances at getting a precursor are any better than when you get your daily temple or dragon chests.
I don’t agree with this, I would think the more people that are able to afford the mats/Ectos that goes into making the legendary the more gold they will have free up to pay for the precursor making the thought of a legendary more realistic for some.
At least that’s how I am feeling, If I don’t have to spend so much on ectos/mats, I’m more apt to spend the money to buy the precursor.
I don’t think comparing precursors to ectos/mats is the right thing to do being that with the last patch farming these things has gotten A LOT easier (hence the price drop) but no adjustment has been made to precursor drop rate so why would the price drop?
PS. Devs never said Precursors would be rewarded to everyone in guild, Devs said the chests from guild missions have a chance to drop precursors… probably the same chance as them dropping off dragon chests, which we all know is slim to none.
Blackgate never bought guilds, It simply helped with the costs of a few guilds that decided on their own that Blackgate is where they wanted to go. It is no different than when SoR and JQ got all their transfers, just now it costs gold which they needed some help with.
And in regards to Raven Paradox, everything you say when it comes to Blackgate in T1 in the passed, I disregard, because you were never zoned into WvW when we were in T1, you sat in guild/map chat’s and complained that we shouldn’t be in T1 instead of helping on the battlefield.
Actually I was there for 3 weeks when we fought SBI and JQ and people left. I was also there from time to time when BG entered the tier it didn’t belong in. The end result? You all got demolished. Sad you forgot so easily. Please don’t get me confused with the moron Irony, who never even played the game during my time in Blackgate.
I’m not here for the BG vs SoR crap. I’ll leave that to Riven. All I know is BG is full of a lot of people that like to stop showing up when they start losing.

How can you say Blackgate doesn’t fight when we are loosing, when no other server has been booted out of T1 multiple times just to fight our way back into it.

Having same issue myself, It’s like everything is running smooth then everything just freezes for 5-10 seconds, then it fast forwards through everything that happened. I monitor my CPU usage, Temp, and Frame rates, they all look fine even when game is frozen up. Even just did a full system restore to see if it would help and its still doing it. It is making the game unplayable for me. Just started doing this maybe a week ago, before that I never had an issue with performance.
I’m actually very surprised on how SBI is acting on the fourms here, you are clearly the top server ATM, but boy are you stooping to the level of all the trolls and complainers. I read through these pages and it’s comment after comment of trash talk from SBI. I don’t understand it, show some class SBI.. Your number 1.
Merkator I give you props for staying in there and trying! It sucks whats happening, but hearing people like you talk about still having fun in this match gives me hope that there are really awesome people out there in the player base of Guild Wars 2. A hope that is usually lost within the first 10 minutes of being on these fourms. Thank you sir!
So your enemy is organized enough to use Mesmer portals to their advantage… therefore nerf them? Sounds to me like a lot of QQ because your team is not using Mesmer portals correctly. A good portal bomb takes a well organized group and a good Mesmer to place the portal in the right spot. Just because some of you are incapable of having this happen in your favor doesn’t mean it should be nerfed to the ground. Maybe try looking for the Mesmer that is running into your zerg all by himself and stun lock him dead before he can place his portal? Try finding solutions to the issue instead of coming onto the fourms and crying about 1 class’es mechanic that owned you and now your mad. Maybe recruit a good Mesmer, log into Mumble with a group of good players, and own bad people.

I truly wish Blackgate members would stop coming into these fourms and making our server look bad. I hope the many of people from different servers can look beyond them people and not judge us by that crap. Iv been on this server since day one, am now an officer of KnT, they are a great group of people and have made a lot of friends in the time l have have spent here.
I know KnT was very saddened by the way last week and the start of this week has turned out. I look up at the tier 1 scores and think to myself that’s what I want, that’s what KnT wants. A hardcore battle that only a couple hundred points separate first from third. That is why we play WvW, for times like that! We were in mumble working with other guilds on strategies an hour before reset, talking about it all week, farming siege all week for today. We were truly hoping for a battle this week! No one enjoys what’s happening right now, but I do wish the best of luck to ET, HoD, FA, and TC in the future and hope you guys can get some guilds to transfer over and get you rolling so hopefully we can redo these matchs in the future and have some fun times.
I want more fighting in game and less on these dang fourms!
Well from a player of a server that took 90% of WvW within the first 2 hours of match reset, farming jumping puzzles is all I have left. Iv been with Blackgate since the start and the match-up this week is already over so id like to at least be able to do the jumping puzzles to get some siege and badges for next weeks bump to tier one.
