Please introduce an option in graphics settings to toggle culling implementation to what it was at launch. Hopefully this is a client-side toggleable setting, or at least the code is modular enough to convert it to be such.
At launch I was able to run at med-high graphics settings and get a pretty steady 30-40 fps with minimal jitter, when battling ~15 vs 15 or more in WvW. Now I get frequent drops to 5-10 fps with massive micro jitter during fights of 15 vs 15 or fewer. I figure the amount of polling is much higher than the old implementation.
This drop in performance reminds me of when holding friends list open dropped fps to 1/3 of regular. This has been fixed (since about November/December).
Please consider either giving this option to players, or revising optimizations for culling. Large battles are no longer fun because of the jittery gameplay.
I’ve lowered my graphics settings to minimum to try to compensate for the jitter, but it makes no difference. It appears that something is sporatically hogging the rendering thread during large(ish) battles.
For a benchmark, my PC is a i5-2500 (quad core), 8 GB DDR3 RAM, ASUS Radeon HD 6850. It’s not a $3000 computer, but I figure I shouldn’t need one in order to run relatively smooth performance.
Please consider.

Daily isn’t mandatory. Ascended trinkets give a marginal benefit over exotic ones so don’t over-stress it. I figure the reason they introduced daily rewards is so they have a larger active base of people because of some feeling of obligation. ANet needs to keep its population levels high if they want to make this game last, and you really can’t blame them for adding one addicting thing to the mix.
I prefer to keep the extra immersion, annoyances and all.
I haven’t really read through the thread, but a Linux client would be really great.
Get into a good guild and find an opportune time to ninja the keeps/towers you need for the POIs. These things are meant to be hard to get.
Can you post a link to the pinger you’re talking about? It’s strange GW2 doesn’t have a ping monitor as an optional HUD detail.
I trigger the lock up all the time as well. Just makes you look boss to everyone around.
As the title says. Would be great if there were more skins on the cash shop for regular gear. Not seasonal. Persistent ones. I find the selection is pretty limited. Basically one set per armor type… I bet you guys could be making way more money with more styling options.
This would break the whole purpose of a small group mechanic. Would make zerging the only strategy, and force many people to sit around in some situations doing absolutely nothing. Twenty people x 5 minutes = 1 hour 40 minutes cumulative unproductive time wasted. Overall bad idea.
Pretty good and entertaining but you do miss a noticeable amount of combos and free casts (instants). Always try to maximize :P

Bug I found:
Description:
When using new Riding Broom toy town clothes item from cash shop, fatigue drops to 0, and after repetitive use appears to not come back even when in regular form. It seems the fatigue value drops to negative? For this reason it appears to either not come back or take a while to recover above 0.
Reproducibility: 100%
