It was first ‘buy gems for gold!’ on every update page. Now we’re getting adverts in game as well?
I understand the need to advertise the gem store but this just makes you guys seem horribly desperate.

This has to be a joke ._.
Seriously.
You guys told us to hold unto our blade shards, so the average person is like ‘oh, must be something of value then.’
Then it turns out the vendor gives you … 1 green for 100 shards?
Just looking at how often the old ‘1 green 2 blues’ joke gets made, I think this must be a troll attempt on Anet’s part and there’s devs laughing at us right now.
You can always buy Eternity, which now makes you go super saiyan and throw galaxies.
The problem of ‘hard’ content is that it’s not an objective thing. People thought TA Aetherpath was hard, then you got people breezing through it like AC P3. You say Tequatl is easy but looking at how most attempts end in colossal failure, I don’t know about that.
Best part of this update. I finally get to beat the &*$£ out of him.
Now lets see Kormir as a boss as well, so I can take my vengeance on her for stealing my god powers.

What do you mean by the best?
Ascended materials are mostly untradable. I suppose you can fork out what would buy you a good new PC for a Legendary but who the heck would want to do that?
That aside, exotics are perfectly competitive for basically everything in the game. GW2 has to be one of the most casual-friendly games out there.
Heavy metal/rock in a game where OSTs are completely contemporary classical? I cringed so hard when I listened to it.
Trying me things is nice but some things just cannot be tried. Like toothpaste sandwiches.
At the moment, I have absolutely no clue what the heck is happeinign inside Anet’s development team. They seem to have writers but…what are those writers actually doing.
I do not wish to offend anyone but I can’t see the current story being the work of a professional writer. Its disjointed, it lacks character progression, and the worst part of it: it gives the ‘reader’ zero-interest to find out more. I know that the best storytellers masterfully always gives the reader just enough information to intrigue them but never let you know everything even at the very end, but the story in this case seems to be going nowhere at all. You don’t have a clue why anything is happening.
The problem is that I think the devs actually don’t really know what they;re going to do with the LS. I’m sure they can see that lore-wise, the LS isn’t working.
If they place major lore into it, like the dragons, then that’s that pice of major lore used up. They’re still experimenting, and thus seems reluctant to put any ‘serious’ lore into these updates.
Personally, I think they should just take what Jagex does with RuneScape and just apply it here. They’ve been basically doing this living world thing for a decade, and their approach works.
He’s awesome now. Can’t wait to try it out.
But Anet, please also make it so that he’s definitely worth the time and effort to take down. Make him more rewarding than the other dragon bosses for a start.
Ideally, make him drop tokens which you can then exchange for his unique drops (like how dungeons work) instead of a RNG fest where it drops at a 0.001% chance.
Otherwise there will be a flux of people chasing after it because its new content, then it’ll just go back to being even more dead than it was before this update as he now takes longer to kill.
