The best I did was reach the 2 beams and that’s it. I tried for like 1 hour with many players in same instance most of them 4 times higher than my small Asura.
I don’t really like the jumping puzzles in general because if I wanted platform game I would choose Super Mario, but since this was for the Halloween event I thought – “lets try make this..”
But after 1 hour of trying I decided to stop and don’t even try more, I fear that I might destroy my keyboard, and monitor, I’m without gold to buy new ones.
If we limit nigh capping, we also have to limit day capping, and morning capping, and 5 o’clock happy hour capping.
We already have that is called prime time and normally you have queue times to join, if you’re trying to troll at least do your home work.
Anyway I would appreciate that a moderator could lock my thread, my primary intention was pass this to Anet, and if they think any thing here make sense, good if not oh well.
If everything was perfect, it was not necessary to create tools to correct our mistakes.

I don’t have a “little” issue with the night capping, like I said just trying to bring more solutions/options to make the game a bit more competitive for all servers. Myself i’m in a guild with 500 persons and we have a average of 150 online at peak times, sure we can do a lot during our time, but we need to sleep, and many guilds already started to leave this server because of this night cap thing.
Should we also start to contract mercenary’s to join our night shift or just leave?!
Sure the problem only exists if I want, its easy to change server and go to one that already have mercenary’s, there you go problem solved for me, but many others still have the problem.

Tbh I was thinking only in the server zones and yes I can see a problem there.
My intention is only to try help and give my feedback, maybe restriction on queue is not the best option I don’t know that (like i said Anet have numbers of the ppl that log and from where, was a matter of try to balance those numbers), but one thing is sure something need to be done, some servers are dying because of this region exchange in prole of some.

Well like I said many ppl will not like this change, but the truth is that only a few servers gonna have a big affluence of other regions so while 2 or 3 are good during day and night, the rest will suck mostly during night and just be there to make numbers for the Match-ups, I foresee great WvW for the future … for some servers.

Hi I would like to leave my feedback to Anet about this “issue”, Anet have stated that "…no player’s time is more valuable than another. " and I agree. Atm I’m living in Canada and playing in Europe servers because I still have family and friends there that I like to play with, and like me probably many others. But the thing is, it’s not a few like me that are distributed in different servers that gonna make a big impact on WvW “night cap” the problem exists because many servers are recruiting entire guilds from Americas to play in Europe and vice-versa for that purpose only, Night cap. So I want to leave my suggestion to fix or attenuate this.
So what I propose is:
- Put some “restrictions” on how many ppl can join WvW during the night server region.
- And also based on the server with lowest ppl online for the current Match-up no one likes to play with a 20 to 1 ratio (I´m sure Anet have numbers to make those restrictions not penalize that much).
While many of you think this will influence with your game play experience, I will say that will not, because the guilds that only joined other region servers for their convenience will return to their own region and play how its “supposed”.
Like I said some ppl play on different region for some legit reasons and some not, making this little change would greatly improve a lot the WvsW experience for many ppl and maybe at some point, we would have a lot more competitive servers than we have now.
Hi guys, just noticed today that entangle does 42 damage per tick, and don’t get any bonus from my condition damage, was this always like this or is broken from this last patch ?
Not sure if this was always like this but entangle is not doing damage based on ranger condition damage, ween I apply a bleed with any other skill it ticks for around 110 damage, entangle does only 42 damage per tick, is this supposed to be like this ? If is intended then the skill is even worst than I thought.
From my own experience with that spirit I would say that the burning effect have maybe a 10 sec cooldown, starting from the moment you apply it.
didn’t knew about the Arah set thx for that, but to late now, but i already have 4 whispering pieces.
I like that set cause you get a extra 100 condition from toughness using the runes of undead, and at same time make me harder to kill.
traps = thieves demise
don’t work against all the thief builds but against HS builds its a must.
I’m going for the karma set that gives condition, toughness, precision.
but if your options are only craft the set, I would chose the rampager one, condition builds need crit chance.
Well I do think greatsword needs some work, to low damage imo.
But the other melee weapons could also get some love for condition builds, the axe maybe.
Any word on this, you guys checking this ? still happening for me.
Hi, I play a trapper build and this Elite skill is the one that fits my play style/build, and I see many ppl abusing of skills that simply take them off the roots the sec I use the skill, so my Elite skill does like 1 secs bleed/root in best cases.
Have you tried to Entangle a thief spamming Heart seeker? does nothing to them, they are out of the root the sec you use the skill, so broken really.
In my opinion to leave the root you should destroy it and nothing else should work for that, at least this way you would be obligated to change target and lose sometime there, even if was for like 4 or 5 secs would give you the option to attack or run.
Another thing that i would like to add is the fact that condition builds take a lot of time to destroy the root if you try it.
If this skill is in fact working as intended then give us something great, I don’t mind have the 10 secs AOE Haste that mesmers have.
Just want to add that if you try to use “F” to finish someone while the sword is in auto attack, you only have like half a sec window to press “F” if not you have to wait for the entire sword animation again.
Ok don’t take me wrong but with so many broken traits/skills you gonna “complain” of that one skill that is working ok, but because the penalty is not the worst is OP?!
Ranger signets are the worst of all professions, and don’t make me start talking of our spirits, here you have like 8 skills that most of the ppl that play ranger don’t even want to touch.

Underworld server.
I have my weapon skills bind like this:
skill1 = 1 \ skill2 = ctrl+1 \ skill3 = 2 \ skill4 = ctrl+2 \ skill5 = 3
Ok the problem is for example, if I click ctrl+3 the skill bind to key number 3 will trigger but shouldn’t, but if I click spam ctrl+2 the skill bind to ctrl+2 will trigger correctly and the one bind to 2 will not, also correct. So my guessing is, since the bind really exist it will not trigger the 2, but because I don’t have any spell bind to ctrl+3 the game assume I want to click 3 insted.
Edit: Made some more tests with the keybinds, examples:
Example1:
keybind Skill1 = 1 ( if I click Shift+1 or Ctrl+1 the skill still triggers )
Rest of the skills without any binds.
Example2:
keybind Skill1 = 1 ( if I click Shift+1 or Ctrl+1 the skill will NOT trigger )
keybind Skill2 = Ctrl+1

This actually have happened to me one time, and I was able to get out using the sword skill that make a illusion, giving you the chance to leap to the target, and ignore the terrain. This can be a way to avoid the Waypoint fee if you get this bug way to much.
Also using the teleport skill under the map can let you get in and out.
