Tried twice, won’t update after defeating pale tree, almost 2 hrs wasted. Please fix.

Ugh same, win 7 64 bit, 32 bit client, only started today.

Confirmed, doesn’t engage or drop nectars.

Same issue, hard crash when I try to access daily achievement panel.

I have the same issue, one workaround I tend to use is to weapon swap. Seems to instantly break out of the rooting.

Sounds like there are several issues. One where the code is already in use, and one that may be related to region / time issues.

I gifted Strawberry Nubcake the mini code, and here’s to hoping Anet takes this issue seriously and makes things right. The codes where handed individually in gift bags at the top of the escalators, so to my knowledge no one outside of Arenanet had access to them prior to the handout. There has to be a way to check activation date and compare that to the card code handout.
Since I and it seems most submitting tickets have physical cards and proof, I remain optimistic this will be sorted.

Also want to mention that it was a fantastic event Anet threw. Many thanks and I enjoyed meeting a lot of the player base in person.

Adding a global chat for all major cultural cities, and allowing access to certain dungeon instances such as Fractals would be a good start.

Keep it RNG. When it rolls the chance for a skin, have it give 3 random choices you can choose from, bit like story rewards.

Keep them away from non-maw chests as I fear it would encourage just rolling an easy first fractal / rinse & repeat.

Same exact problems for me in dungeons, seems I can’t get it off (that’s what she said) on enemies to the side half the time. Feels much less fluid and fun of a skill.

I believe I just experienced a similar bug, I do not believe it is tied to character creation but instancing itself, I am doing my personal story and it will not load my personal story instance I’m sure it will work itself out shortly.

I think that’s correct. I can login with my other characters all in non-instanced areas.

Same. Created a Sylvari and stuck at ‘Fighting the Nightmare’ loading screen.
