The fact that you’re running a technical preview of an OS that itself is unsupported by the people who made it at this point in time because it is a technical preview, and who warn you not to run it as your daily OS?

In the meantime, you could try Compatibility Mode for Windows 7 to see if that resolves your issue.

As I said elsewhere, XP is a 13 year old OS which isn’t even supported by Microsoft anymore. I wouldn’t even expect ANet to keep supporting it. It’s long past time to upgrade your systems if you wanna run modern software.

Hasn’t been working properly on Windows 10 64 for awhile.

I just wish the gem purchase functionality would get fixed…

I wanted to buy those wings but I couldn’t due to the Gemstore being down for the past 24hours and it is still down…. I tried credit card and paypal…

Gems just can’t be purchased right now period…

What exactly about that made you mad? I for one am excited about the whole collection stuff because I think it will be fun. Also I am stoked over this patch because of its guild implications, as a member of one of the largest active guilds in the game this patch will do wonders for us!

At first No I wasn’t. Until the collectible and trading post blogs/reveals. Then I was kinda excited about it. Until Yesterday when I watched this http://youtu.be/Y312p68sK4k?t=7m17s. And now I’m even more furious with the patch than I was before the last two blog reveals.
So ultimately, no, I’m not excited for the patch.

I don’t know about you all but I want to:
Climb every mountain
Ford every stream
Follow every rainbow

O and I am tired of it taking so long to revisit all the places my great grandparents visited….

It’s not an exploit because there is nothing to exploit. :-)

Already mentioned and yes this is very important, I would really like to see it implemented now even before the build system comes online because the lack of it is already annoying and would only be more so with a build system…

I haven’t read the previous comments so sorry if this has been suggested already, but how about a slot system? Where you could page through different builds and with each build page there was a slot system where you could store your weapons, sigils, runes, etc. For Skills and Traits you could save them as templates (Ala LoL) and select the specific build from a drop down table? I think this could easily be incorporated to PvP as well. The only problems I see with it is: 1. The complexity and possible overwhelming layout for newcomers (But please don’t hold back on options simply because you’re scared casuals won’t understand it) and 2. It could act as a storage system, which may or may not work out well as a game mechanic…

That great and all but the issue is still there, what’s going on and is there some issue with using the PayPal service for gem purchases? That message is getting old.

For a game called Guild Wars 2 this megaserver system is a show stopper. The megaserver system populates the map for low pop servers at the expense of the medium to high pop servers which is not necessarily a good thing for the low pop servers and deadly for some of the medium to high pop servers. Now instead of running into the same people that are willing to learn a fight and participate and come back another day we are saddled with total randoms at random from the entire world. How are we supposed to get a solid core for challenging content such as the Wurm when we never know when if or where the participates are going to come from?

The reason the megaserver system is a showstopper is because it is made if not impossible much more difficult than it needs to be for large guilds to run their guild missions, major world events and anything where the guild comes together for a conglomerative effort. The current world boss schedule only complicates this even more.

I honestly think that the guild world boss spawn merit system was the wrong direction an alternative would be to give the ability to spawn guild overflows with merits.

I got about 100 badges of honor in WVW today and then didn’t get a single one over the next 4 hours or so. WTF my badge count is stuck at 173??

Same here I was really hoping this would be fixed before I got on today :-(
