I saw so many mesmers using their phantasms on SBI for the event.

WvW on the other hand… not so many Mesmers. I actually got called out on map chat to help portal golems. Though it could just be because it was during the day and WvW will be resetting soon.

Just something I noticed.

As someone who mainly plays WvW as a glass cannon I’m interested in starting a shatter build. I’ve heard they’re good in dungeons which is what I’ll be doing for the Lost Shores content. If anyone can post their build/armor that’d be great.

Shatter would be more effective than condition builds for dungeons, right?

Take the trait Phantasmal Fury and test it again. There should be no delay with PF active, iirc.

I’m seeing a few commanders I’ve never seen before in SBI so maybe we did get a few guilds transferred in. Any way we can get a list of guild tags or names? I’d like to know which commanders to avoid.

Not that I can find. Not even a sticky acknowledging that they’re working on it. Pretty disappointing.

I had this problem. To fix it I stood over the waypoint for about five seconds and headed out. Then it’d show on my map.

As much as I’d like them to think up something new for the statue, I’d settle for the original with a small Mad King twist.

I LOVE the aesthetics of Lion’s Arch. Best Halloween event I’ve had in an MMO. I can’t wait to see the other acts.

I had to buy keys which was around 35 USD? Opened up over 40 chest and got pauldrons for light armor (I wear heavy). Despite that i love this Halloween event (Good job Anet) i learned a lesson to not ever do that again.

I’ve spent twice that for nothing.

I liked the way FFXI did it. Some fun quests for the event gear with 1-3 tiers depending on how much you run around collecting. It was mainly to show that players were there for that years Halloween event. They were only level 1 weapons/armor, but still neat to show off and could be done in a reasonable amount of time.

The amount of time sink required for the weapons is off putting. I’ve spent over $60 on keys so far with not one Halloween related drop. My fault for wanting to go the easy way out. Just another reason for me to stick to WvW only, I guess.

Yeah, I had this happen when SBI shortly had garrison in JQ borderland. I didn’t end up getting it. I submitted a bug report to hopefully stop siege from being deployed on vistas.

Edit: this was our own siege.

^ Yes! #2 is a gamble nowadays. I don’t understand the complaints about it. The teleport distance is a joke.

Spying while dead is pretty ridiculous. I haven’t noticed it until the current IOJ/SBI/JQ match up. ESOL from Jade Quarry seems to do this pretty often.

If you’re dead you should automatically be sent to the map screen, IMO.

Im not asking them to be able to whisper enemy player’s, then you would be able to grief alot of people.

You can already whisper the enemy. Right click on them and click report. From there you can see their account name.

Add that to your contacts and you’re able to trash talk if you really want to.

For WvW? That person is logging out before you can stomp them to save on repair costs and so you don’t get loot. Usually common when there’s no queue.

I do it all the time.

Arenanet, please separate PvP and PvE.

It’s probably way low on the priority list, though.

This is seriously game breaking for me. I cannot do WvW without this eventually happening and if I restart the client I lose my place in WvW. It’s only happened once in PvE during a SoD zerg.

Is there anyway to keep our WvW slot for 1-2 minutes after we log off? That should be enough time for a client restart.
