I think this might be an American problem. For people from other continents, 250 years is not that a long time, certainly not enough to completely change a place to the point it’s not recognizable anymore. Yes that’s my point. Also the fauna is different: where are all the devourers gone?

The fact that some of them are now underwater and some others are crumbling?

In Lion’s Arch you can still find traces of the gw city. Amnoon looks like a totally different place, with loads of ancient looking piramyds which didn’t exist 250 years ago!! Sloppy

underwater amnoon has nothing to do with gw1 amnoon. LA was done much better.

I’m very disappointed: I just went back to GW to verify. Amonoon in GW is a desert oasis in a desolated environment with just a few statues and tents. In GW2 Amnoon looks more like Vabbi (totally different place) and there is even a supposedly old underwater Amnoon which has nothing to do with the actual GW outpost!! There were absolutely no pyramids or anything like that!!

I’m still in the dark on how hero points come from WvW, no illumination at all ^^

You can buy HoT hero pointss with 10 proof of heroics at the Heroic’s Notary NPC in WvW, anywhere you spawn.

You get them from leveling in WvW but also from reward chests you get from pips. Basically if you just follow a commander around and get levels you’ll get proof of heroics.

I’m a very very casual player. I’m not an active guild member, I’m not interested in obtaining legendary weapons and I don’t like grinding. I don’t like hard core, organised group PvE. I liked the original guild wars philosopy that you don’t have to grind in order to enjoy the game. But now to unlock elite specializations, which is a content I paid for when I bought this expansion, I’m forced to farm those kittenty hero points which means either I farm them in the original pre expansion maps, or I try to get the ones in the expansions maps which are too difficoult for me and require help from other players which I don’t have! Too much effort required to obtain something everyone should be able to access!

I already salvage all blues and greens and sell materials but it’s boring! TP is so slow to load, I’m tired of listing materials on it… plus, my inventory is now full of yellows and exotics.. what to do with them? why do we need to do all this for a game?’

I’m writing this post because unfortunately I have arrived to the point that because of inventory management I no longer enjoy playing the game. My inventory gets constantly full, and I don’t have the will nor the time to manage it. There are too many types of items in the game, and I don’t know which one is valuable, which one is useful and which one is not. I don’t have time to research it, I just want to have fun, but the game force me to either delete or sell stuff that could be potentially useful/valuable in the future, or just not to play the game. I’m tired of spending time moving items to alt characters, so most of the times I just don’t bother playing. I don’t want to spend money to buy gems to upgrade the bank or things like that. I’m a casual player and I just want to play the game when I want without having to manage anything.

Thank you for listening to us. I will pre purchase the standard edition and keep the slot for my Revenant.

I totally agree with the OP.

I’m sorry, but I won’t be pre-purchasing on these terms. Standard edition doesn’t include a character slot, but includes the core game which I already have. They should offer the option to choose one or the other. Otherwise I’ll just wait for the price to lower and in the mean time I’ll save gold to buy gems for an extra character slot.

Could someone tell me why I can’t apply +1 , +3 or +4 agony infusions to my ascended Band of Brotherood ring? it has an unused defensive infusion slot

My email account was compromised, they got in and authorized access from Hong Kong, China and Taiwan, and then reset guildwars password and stole everything in my account! Luckily they didn’t change my email password, so I was able to reset the password again and to change my email account password as well.I submitted a request to support, I hope they will be able to restore my account.

Support changed my account email and removed the mobile authenticator the hacker had linked to my account, but they haven’t yet restored my account items and gold, and they haven’t replied to my ticket.

They sorted my account out. Thank you, support people, this is great.

I don’t understand.. when they restore our accounts, the gold and the items transferred somewhere else will not be removed from the hacker account or from their customers accounts?

I created 5 charachters at Headstart but only a 3 of them got the present and it was the same mini (quenn Jenna).. very disappointing!

Many Air Towers are bugged, even if I never visited, when I get over them after completing the event, I find the chest already open and it doesn’t count for the achievement.

I have the same problem, I can’t finish the game!

I had this issue too last night. It seems the patch didn’t work. Please fix it.

That’s not an exploit. On the other hand, mesmers creating portals for zergs to appear suddenly somewhere near enemies, granting them temporal invisibility because the well known rendering issues, is an huge exploit.

This time sucks for Europe: it’s 2.00 AM here. You should do rematches at a different time for European servers.

Free tournaments grant 300 extra points to winner team members, 200 to seconds place and I think 100 to third place. So if you win a free tournament you gain around 200 + 200 + 200 + 300 = 900 points.

Don’t waste your time in the pointless game browser matches, do free tournaments! it’s much better. even alone with a random roster.

In the first vid when he is naked he dies against the guardian.. so I can’t see a problem here. He wins only after he wears his armor again.

I don’t like the way one becomes commander right now. Our guild is collecting money to have our first one, but I wonder: what if the person we give the book, eventually leaves our guild or quits the game altogether? We have basically wasted 100 gold which are worth a considerable sum of real money.

I think there should be an alternative way for big guilds to designate commanders: my idea is guild commander slots that a guild can obtain as expensive guild upgrades (let’s say, one slot per 100 members max). Once the guild has those slots, members can be selected to fill them, and their commander status can be removed as well if necessary. If the guild needs more commanders, those can use the book.

Recently I cannot claim any objectives in WvW for my guild anymore, even if I am an officer enabled to do so. I get the error message that I don’t have permission to claim. At launch instead, I was able to claim objectives.

Another issue I had is that from the Ring of Fire Keep in Eternal Battlegrounds, which had been upgraded with guild banker, I wasn’t able to access guild bank, even if I was representing my guild and we have both guild stash and guild treasure.

I couldn’t figure out this one exactly: the more people you have capping a point the faster it is capped? or not? And is it the same in WvW?

Actually there has been improvement. Do you remember in what tragic state was PvP at launch? nearly nothing worked, the structured servers were crashing every 2 or 3 hours. Now at least they work. But I agree it’s not enough and all the promised features need to be be online very soon.

I was going to report this bug as well, please fix it ASAP as it is pretty unconfortable to deal with it.

I just made my sixth charachter without spending any real money, I think this is awesome.

Today I tried to place a flame ram in the borderlands, near an enemy gate. Not sure how to do it, i placed the circle directly on the gate, and left clicked. Nothing happened, I guess because I had to place the circle on the ground, but the blueprint was gone and I couldn’t place it again in an acceptable location. The ram was simply gone.
