no clones when dodging? (if you have 3 clones up…) there is also a reason why we dodge for clones. like when we nearly get killed we also use it to confuse (without the condition, due there are some idiots who kill the clone then). now you are killing our retreating abilities with that nerf. idk but what about just give a mesmer 1 weapon, 1 skill and 1 trait? seems that we are still to op with every nerf, just because others cant handle it!

‘not that bad’ – wtf??? they had taken our main mechanics. if you read the introduction of a mesmer, so youll recognise that they “play” with the foes mind, so we are CONFUSING them! its like to take away the banners of the warriors, the poison of a necro, the health regen of a guardian or the stealth of a little thief!!
If we say " ahh, conf nerf wasnt that bad, but the skill will die now…." we dont have any resistance for any upcoming “balances”.
Havent you seen any mesmer playing conf build in spvp? i have a hybrid on conf and shatter, but its nearly useless in spvp and now in wvw.

we will loose our confusion and all other skills! i WONT take that!!

Yesterday at night, i had read the Changelog of this update. So i asked myself: why do they always “balance (=nearly only nerfing the char. and sometimes buffng some char.)” the professions and why is anet not reseting the wvw stats or give us some real ingame content??
only cause of some whining players (now i am also whining), who just can push the “1”-button, they ccant concentrate on the real intresting stuff.

specially on my char (mesmer) the point: quickness is a real issue…

I just can talk about the quickness thing, but for the other professions there also must be an known issue!

ty for your lvling guide, but really, its not that hard to level a mesmer…. i were even faster in lvling my meser (1.5w to 80) then my ranger (nearly 4w to 80). Why dont yiu just do map completion and wvw.

but yesterday you really were fun RoF, first Panglas, then Veloka, after that (i went for dinner, came back) saw you in front of overlook inner (from souther gate, wall down) gate with a 50 man zerg…. and you didnt take our gate down! (we were just about 20)
after 30min fighting we pushed you back out and shattered your zerg =P

why do you want to take away the commanders tag when more then 30 ppl is around him? what about defending a keep or going for SM?

now the new ranks has some new challenges =D.
have you ever hold the Overlook or any other Keep against a 50ppl zerg with only 20 allies? this for about half an hour and then pushing them back out and taking all your lost towers and camps back? this was funny yesterday and i think its some “hair-crowling-and-head-shaking” experience for the enemy’s zerg!

I think that IS some kind of skill. we are nearly always outmanned =D

just thinking…. i am actually no thief, but a mesmer. and i read a lot of threads here in this forum. s.o. would also know me from defending the mesmers profession and so on.
Now i can say that always the thiefs, mesmers and ele’s are the classes to complain about. Always the ‘nerfing’ startegys, needs, and more because you most of you cant deal with it. you are taking our fun and wont even recognise it. its the thiefs mechanic to be in stealth mode and be acrobatic, its the mechanic of the mesmer to have tons of “babys” (clones) and feed you with them, and its the ele’s mechanic to be invulnerable or a mass AoE dealer…
We are not OP, we just have skill and have to deal with the situation. Wont say that a warrior dont have skill or sthg like that (know some which had alot of skill, even with kittenty gear, now they are OP-like).

Just saying, what about nerfing the necros sigils, take away the warriors GS or take away the Guardians healing power or whatever. or even better. just give uss 1 class, 1 trait, 1 skill, and the autoattack, and dont forget to nerve the gear to 0 and/or kill all races so that only a glob of sthg will stay with 1 skill, 1 weapon and 1 trait with the same gear and more.

ill think that you also complain and be kitten on us. all this nerfing/buffing is kitten.

I was there, but not the commaning officer. and it WAS a big zerg!

what? Big zergs are unstoppable? you need to coordinate your ppl in wvw, thats a commander is for. didn’t you have any good commander?
The point is that a commander also have to get controll over small groups which were not with him. sthg like coordinated scouting. i also saw some commander which dont even get into a fight. just standing around, saying nothing and so on. a really good commander fight with the ppl, he leads, show presence and has to show that he is not standing over others. its like in former times … build your allies, drink with them, laugh with them, stand for them, fight for each other and also die for the other even it is only 1 allie which is in the middle of the enemys zerg, nearly dieing and cant retreat like you had ordered. if you run with enthusiasm and with a big smile on your face into a enemys zerg, helping the nearly lost folks, then the others will also join and help you!

if you as a commander show presence and humanity, fighting with the “normal” folks and also dieing with your allies, then you can defend a normal tower from a zerg of 30-50 with a small group of 10-15!

2 days ago, i defended a normal camp with 10 allies against (1.) 20 ppl (nearly slaughered them) and after that against 40 of the same types…

my advice: dont cry, insted use your energy to get some good commanders!

At least don’t forget this: “A battle is already won, before it even has started!”

he got it =D. So just get i n the guild and youll see! but before we can organise any contest/meeting/etc we have to create a community

You missunderstand…. i created one for Organisation things. you wont have to be on the same server and you dont have to represent this guild.
For example. you are a mesmer in Whitesideridge (like me) and need help in WvW for portal bombing or golem porting thing…. then you can ask directly cause you see on your server that this person is also WvW or sthg like that.
everyone will get the same rights and and rank. i give myself the rank “whitesideridge”, others will get their server as a rank name. everyone can invite and rank the new member to the server where they are.
i wont spend any influence into that guild and noone has to do so.

like everyone should know(hehe), this game is called Guildwars2.
And in Guild Wars every should think that this is about a Game with guilds and a LOT of wars (especially between guilds). so why isnt there any fuction to have a war especially between guilds, like pvp in LA between the enemy or in even any other map. and a ally function between guilds so they can help us.

Sure there is a sPvP, but in normal mode the system split us up and in tPvP there only can be about 5-8 ppl.

They should NOT become personal. Its the game mechanic and in tPVP it is something like a support-skill. And sPVP is called STRUCTURED PvP, so you also have to plan where to place the portal!

Yesterday i played sPVP. There i tried with some friends a few new builds and it was very funny to confuse them with the mass of the clones and the explosions (shatter, MindWrack)

hmmm, always the complainingss about the mesmer. and always the spec. complaining about the clones and our portal.
same kitten everywhere! Deal with it

Stop all this nerfing kitten something like nerfing the staff nr. 2 skills is kittenty, ’cause as a mesmer you need your illusions. they are the main dmg dealer. stop nerfing and deal with it.
I am a mesmer and i love the way to play them. the mechanic is unique and you need a lot of skill to use all your possibilities. you have to think fast and nearly on the instinct level to suvivve and even deal with your enemy. it not only pressing the #2 button. its a way of fast thinking what you could do in case of getting stunned or sthg like that. How could you avoid stun and more. it is even worse for a mesmer if you dodge our shatter skills. and yiou can see our shatter skills more clear than the stun. stun is here, but our illusions have to run to you to explode and so on.
all his complaining….awwww! i wont even think of nerfing any other class only because class A can do that and i cant do that, so please change…. thats all bullkitten. i think its also a skill level needed to use your banner and so on.
and? do i complain? Only because it buffs the enemy? NO!
Somehow i got the feeling that (nearly) only mesmer (who are, in the wrong hands, weak and unnecessary) are getting nerfes.

for me it starts to be fun when i got my GS. i nearly never died =D

ha! it is always the same. always the mesmers are going to be nerved. Why? only because of our illusions, phantasm or this portal?
everywhere it is the same, all players are talking about the “kittenty” mesmers, how weak they are and how unfair the illusions would be. but if you ever joined into a JP, there is always the same: “is there any mesmer for PORTAL?”
we mesmers are only good enough for the portals, elsewhere we are marked as “weak” , unnecesssary and unfair (nearly cheating)! its the same with the thieves: 90% of the battle they could be invisible. i dont want to disrupt their skills and so on. its their profession. so stop this balancing kitten and let us play as it is. could be possible that the engis are somehow UP, so stop nerving mesmers (you can nearly read nerves for the mesmers in every changelog!) and start focusing the engis.

… nerving mesmers because some kiddis are whining – if they think that mesmers are soo “unfair” then they also should play this profession!
