It seems like it takes at least twice as long to kill anything underwater as it does on land. We have some cool abilities but they all just feel extremely weak for some reason. Yeah, I pretty much just avoid water too, especially in PVP.

The tooltip for Armor of Earth states that the duration of the Stability and Protection boons granted will be 8sec. However, they actually only last 6sec (it was nerfed shortly before launch).

I agree with kschmidt, although I also have not tested it; the absolute maximum you should get from Bountiful Power is 8% damage with all 8 boons. Obviously, most of the time you will have fewer boons than this, making this an OK trait more or less in line with the other 25 pointers.

If you read more established forums on this subject, you will find that the overwhelming consensus is that Ele is the weakest class in sPVP right now. You would certainly be hard pressed to find anyone making the claim that they are stronger than Thieves in sPVP.

In WvWvW on the other hand, staff Ele is pretty strong due to all the AOE capability at relatively long range.

Come to think of it, they should just enable auto-attack by default for the 1 skill and have it not use charges. If that is too overpowered, then lower the number of charges to 10 or 12 to compensate.

I think that would encourage more people to pick up the weapons we’re dropping more often. As it is, I think a lot of people ignore them because of the auto-attack issue.

The “must be in combat” explanation makes sense, as I was experiencing problems when testing this trait last night. I assume this is to prevent you from stacking might out of combat in fire and then initiating combat in another attunement.

I agree that it should remember your auto-attack preference. However, I prefer to micro the number of charges for certain weapons and wouldn’t necessarily want to spend them on auto-attacking. I assume this is why the auto-attack is disabled by default in the first place.

I was able to resolve this issue by installing EVGA’s Precision X software. I have no idea why this fixes it, but it does.
