Yea I always wondered this too. Seems like my A/M kills mobs faster even though GS puts up big numbers.

So I am trying to figure out the best way to get my warrior to do good to decent damage but live in the process. I seem to take a beat down more than a warrior should it seems. I’m Level 60 and any advice is welcomed.

Also i am still trying to figure out this build stuff and its a lot of info flying around about it. Is this pretty much a trial and error thing? Should I just try will all the weapons? Now I’m using GS and Hammer, which I seem to like the Hammer but I read that GS is better? Also been reading dual axes is good or axe/mace. Its a lot of info on here and a lot to sift through.

What do you mean by 6/4/2/2/0 or 6/2/2/2/2? I am just a freelance player and never been into builds and what not but now I am trying to understand them more, if this is what it even pertains too.

Well I am a thief can someone explain how to even utilize steal? I’m new to GW 2 and don’t quite understand builds, all that great but I would like to know how to get long stealth? like 30 secs in PvE or is this only a PvP thing?

Yes please enjoy the game lol……I made that mistake with my Thief which is only 45. I would think man how will I get this exotic/rare gear and come to find out so far it has not been that expensive but what I did up to lvl 40 was just wear dropped gear and bank most of my gold for the rares but as I said they not to pricey so far cause im lv 45 so cant speak for lv 80 exotic/rares

To me what sets this game apart is that I don’t need to shout and beg someone to help me do things (If you ever played FFXI you always need help most of time). I just run, event nearby comes up and I join. We can kill anything anyone fighting and never have to hear, “Hey you stole my mob”, or someone who uses bots camp one mob all day. EVERY mob is fair game and everyone gets goodies. Best of all I can play solo, at MY own pace and don’t HAVE to depend on someone else.

Just play and if you notice that maybe the mobs are getting tougher or you even find yourself dying when this normally shouldn’t be a problem – then check your gear to find out it’s 20-30 levels lower than your current level.

But there is no direct formula.

I’m a FFXI and Aion player, even played ffxiv before it became monthly fee to play then I quit and then to find out it sucked so bad they shut the servers down……GW 1 was fun but after you hit 20, got old but this GW 2 is greatest ever has easy teleportation, can join events with anyone, loot is for everyone, the list goes on, great game.

How many levels are gold armors good for? 5, 10 levels?

Good evening, is there a way to make this auto targeting stick, I stop auto attacking once I start at lot of the time. Is there a better way of doing this? I have auto enable according to the box but it seems to stop and making my battles turn for the worse
