I like the idea of glowing hands instead of the fart cloud but not the ground sigil.
The ground sigil is also the main reason why lots of people don’t play herald

I like your suggestions and I would also add some more:

1. Remove redundant archetype pets and spread them to cover more archetypes:
Juvenile Pink Moa and Juvenile Black Moa – both versatile, no supportive moa available
Juvenile Raven and Juvenile White Raven – both versatile, no stout bird available
Juvenile Jungle Spider and Juvenile Black Widow Spider – both versatile, no stout or supportive spider available

2. Add more archetypes for “new” pets (with a different skin, like change colors or something): Smokescales, Wiverns, Iboga, Jacaranda, Rock Gazelle, Bristleback

3. Make bears do something useful when not merged

4. Improve vanilla pet damage, attack ranges and skills

5. Leader of the Pack – Make old effect baseline and add something more useful: like all stancess also also grant stability and remove a condition, reduce stances CD

6. Predator’s Cunning – when you apply any condition, steal some health from them, add some ICD

7. Unstoppable Union – Entering or leaving beastmode breaks stun and causes your attacks to be temporarily unblockable, add 10s ICD

8. Pet’s Prowess – change to give 30% when in BM instead of 25%

9. Increase GS auto attack speed or damage or both

10. Remove the bear animation from Maul attack

11. Add possibilities to dye pets (reuse same concept of mounts)

I run viper glint/mallyx mace/axe and staff. You have better healing, better blocks and more condi cleanse than meta shiro/mallyx so you don’t need to rely too much on your team mates. You have higher cd for stunbreak and can’t stomp/ress fast without shiro.
Can easily kill druids and mesmers, have problems with tempest DS and more or less 50-50 against condi reaper, scrappers and shiro/mallyx revs

So why wasn't gliding in new maps?

It’s the hardest class to fight, I can deal with them 1v1 and have 50-50 chance but against two of them I literally explode. It’s also hard to disengage with all the chill, if I swap shiro for glint I can survive longer but sacrificing a lot.

I don’t think any class should be able to skilllessly win reliably in 1v2’s. That’s a clear indication of balance issues. That being said, reapers also have this issue. against 2 opponents, 1 reaper can only survive for so long before getting wrecked.

Yes 1v2 is basically impossible but even when going mid and get focused by 2 necro sometimes I don’t have time to do shiro/evade → swap mallyx → resistance that i’m already dead

I miss the last pip of sapphire from 2 days, tried both premade and solo queue, doing only ranked 6 hours per day and keeping a ratio of two wins and two defeat.
Sometimes we got completely destroyed by a team of full ruby and lost 2 pipes in a row, I believe it would be more fair if they get rid the two pipes at once kittening.

tbh most thieves I found in ranked have no idea of what is their role and they just go mid and die like flies from aoe.
Decapping can be done by many other classes and it’s also quite hard to find a thief good enough to win 1v1 I can’t even imagine 1v2.
I’d like to play thief if it would be viable cause the class is fun, I believe right now you need to be a top player to make this class barely acceptable.

I’ve no problems at all in unranked or hotjoins but since ranked is suppose to be an harder competition where one liability can bring down points to the whole team members I don’t see why people need to go there running crappy build/class in this specific game. Just to prove that you can play a crappy class but outskill your opponent and still win sometimes.
Few classes/builds are better then other so what’s the problem? Grab one of those and play it while you wait for patch if it will ever come.

Please modify the Facet ground effect!

I really hope they will change it, this effect is terrible, they changed chaos armor because it was too much but this is actually much worse, if there have to be something should be something imperceptible like the new chaos armor or ele bubble thing

It’s ridiculous, I was fighting 1v2 with two FR when 4 DZ arrived and help them kill me, they stomp me together and then DZ left without touching eachother.
The two FR stay on my body sitting and bullkittenting.
Is it not enough that every warriors on your realms have the coward runner build? _

kittenter the easiest way to kill thieves is turn them into moa then burst.
Yesterday I’ve found a thief that was almost all the time invis, I tought they nerfed this stuff but apparently it still work (or maybe another build with the same result).

tried this build in solo arena, faced one warrior and ele and they killed me in 0.2sec XD
Something is not clear, how can you survive without clones and stealth?
What do you do when fight against enemy with stability?

I think every class should have the three options to get speed:
1. signed
2. trait
3. rune

Or make everyone run the same speed in wvw (the real problem with speed is that enemy can outrun you in wvw).

I was thinking would be nice to have a trait that enable the clones to do different actions with 10s ic.
Actions could be: dodge roll or do an attack with the same damage as white attack of the mesmer (to be of some kinf of use also in pve).

Roll a mesmer until lvl 30, take deceptive evasion, try to survive and then you will know how a mesmer move. If you play it for a while you will never have problems find out where the real mesmer is and you will also realize that there’s nothing OP on the class itself.
Always put a target on the mesmer with ctrl+click it can only be removed with stealth.

I think they need to do more damage, because right now to do more or less a good amount of damage you need to go full berserker.
If a d/d thief go full berserk with 120% of crit dmg will do 7-10k damage every 3 seconds, the mesmer can do 7k every 10s and it can be easily healed/avoided. If you run too far like elementalist or warrior gs the clones explode by themself at midway.
Sometimes you fight against classes that can overheal your shatter damage but they can still kill you quite easily because you have crappy defenses stats, the only thing you can do is teleport around for about 5mins until you get tired or the other one receive help.

I think Compounding Power should be 5% instead of 3% and Duelling grandmaster traits should have something useful so we can spend 30 point on it and get 10% more of crit dmg.
Also would be nice to increase the damage of Cry of Frustration.
When shattering the clones should get huge speed like those risen kamikaze mobs.
We need another immobilize or stun or chill, right now you can use sword 2 only for def or after iLeap.
Move DE to adept so we can create more builds.

Looking for a good wvw roaming build.

It’s nice for 1vX but after a while a bit boring.
With this build I used to go alone or with a thief, we did some nice 2v6
I also used in zerg by swapping chaos V with chaos IV and MOR with EF. I use mantra just to remove 2 condi instead of one (4 condi with 10th dec patch) and charge it in stealth or with distortion. Remember you can blink while charging

Now I’m using a shatter build which is much more fun but I die a lot:

Hi,
I’m trying to make shatter mesmer work for roaming.
Right now I’m using phantasm/shatter hybrid build from osicat (because celestial gear is too expensive), I just changed the rune with centaur because of the speed (but i’ve lost 10% crit).

The thing is, in every shatter video from you or osicat I can see that with the combo:
3 clones Diversion, 3 clones blurred frenzy + MW you can kill almost everyone.

Well when I try this combo I can’t even kill an upperlevel.
Yesterday I fought against an engineer upperlevel and he ran away with a few hp.
Then I’ve found an elementalist upperlevel he also ran away.
I’ve fought with a guardian, I barely took 1/3 of his life, he killed me with 2 shots.
I found a rogue condi, he killed me before my Illusionary leap reached him.
I fought with a warrior hammer/gs for about 10mins. every time he reached half life he could just run away, When I tried to run away he could reach me all the time. With hammer F1 he could take half of my hp.

I would love to master the shatter build because is very funny to use but I don’t really understand how you guys can kill all that people so fast and without taking damages.
What happen to me is that, Engineer, guardian, warrior, elementalist get invul as soon as my clones start running. When I do staff #2 I can see the warrior hammer leap on the exact point where I teleport and I need to use decoy to get rid of it, then my cd are over.

I mean, are those video’s real daily fights or just some very bad players that you’ve killed?

Just to let you know I’m not a total noob, with my hybrid condi/phantasm build I can do 1v4 and kill them all or escape when I want. I can go alone against a zerg, kill one of them and run.

Can you help me or give me some advice on how you can kill people so fast?
Maybe I need to change my gear to full berserk in order to increase crit dmg.
How can you go roaming without speed? Everybody would outrun you instead of stay there and get killed, isn’kitten

I have to say I never faced this issue until this week WvW against Gandara. It’s incredible how 1 out of 5 players used this bug during the fight that they were losing, sometimes even before they reached half life.
This is really annoying specially for roamers, it’s already hard to find a small group to kill instead of the huge blob, if you can’t even get the kill because they alt+f4 it become frustrating
