Guild Wars 2

Hey so i forgot that people will put anything on a forum to make their guilds seem amazing when they actually suck, so please on serious guilds only.
I’m an 18 year old GW2 player just looking for an active/helpful social guild. I hate being in guilds where no one talks or helps each other and just everyone is solo. I love guild activities whether its with lvl 1’s or lvl 80’s doesn’t matter. Im currently on the server Kaineng but getting a world transfer is not a problem at all as long as the guild meets my criteria.

i am currently on the Kaineng server but have no problem doing a world change. I Currently have a 24 warrior and 15 necro and im trying to hit 80 but its a bit lonely and boring solo.

I just quit World of Warcraft and this seemed like the next best game. The combat looks awesome, environments are stunning, and i heard the story isn’t bad either. One thing I’ve heard about this game is thakittens hard to find a group of people to play with and i hate playing solo in MMO’s i can ply for 1-2 hours solo but when i have a group of 2 or more i can literally play all day.

I don’t care what class you play we can all be rangers for all I care as long as i have a group to play with.

yeah ive played just about all to lvl 20 and i like the theif necro and ranger a bit but never tried engineer actually so i maybe i should

I like the WoW idea of the shaman kind of like an elemental warrior but i like the necro ranger mesmer theif and havent heard much about the engineer but id try it……so which should i do….?

looking for more dps then support unless support class is really fun

i messaged you on guildwars but yeah im guessing you card is better….. i can only put my gpu clock to 675 and my high performance clock to 1000 i did put the HPC to 1000 and my computer kept crashing.

@khisanth my bad didnt see the second pic you sent me…. should i be able to run the exact AMD settings you have since i have a higher graphics cards?

@khisanth when i use you same settings I’m at about 18fps

@khisanth is 5570 better than a 6570 wouldnt seem like it should be.

@khisanth when i use auto detect im at 24fps…. did you do any overclocking on your graphics card?

hey cant guest on your world?

So I’m running guild wars 2 on a AMD graphics card. I believe it is a 6850 or 6870 one or the other if I’m not mistaken. Currently i have the settings to where they look nice and its runs at about 25-31fps it varies. I heard you can set your clocks on your graphics card so that the frames will be increased but i have no idea how to do that.

Any help?

So im running windowed mode as it seems to give me a few frames but the UI at the bottom of the screen is cut off.

Hey i really want to get this to work but ive hit a stump. When i go to ATI-ACE the ACE folder has nothing in it and i have no idea what to do from here please help!

@bobobejumbo yeah i just want a lively world is all…..but no MMO is really like that and i dont get it

im in a guild but they are boring as well! i just came from wow and the guild i was in was very lively we raided alot or groups would always be running heroics made playing alot better

i need one with a lot of people who like getting into parties and killing stuff. where it doesn’t feel like im the only one here even though there are thousands of players here…..just need a better world!

Pretty simple looking for a team of about 1-4 people starting from lvl 1 any race doesnt matter. I can transfer realms if needed so lets get started!

oh then most likely you need a new graphics card.

Yeah I, having the exact same problem I have GeForce 210 I’m no exper but you might need to update you video card or maybe get another power supply a stronger one. Black screens can be a result of many different issues so best bet is to have it checked by someone which is what I’m trying to avoid but it seems like the best thing to do.

i know this card sucks for gaming but its what i have. I use version 306.02 for my drivers and get black screened after a good 10-30 mins of play. I thought it was the beta version causing the crash so i switched to 301.02 for some reason. When playing with this version the game black screened after 10 seconds.

It seems like 306.02 is fine just my graphics card needs an update right? im not sure….
if someone has some knowledge on this it will help alot!

Also if this is the problem and i need a another graphics card whats the best i can get for $120?

i installed the beta version of 306.02 to play GW2 and the crashing began almost immediatley. I get the error no signal black screen thing and then my pc just shuts down so i switched back to 304.1 i think hoping it works!

Thank god, raids suck! I remember wiping on death wing on the last phase and it was a good 5-10 min fight (pug) and having to restart kitten sucked like…..BLEH pvp is better to focus on anyway to me it shows truly how good you are with you profession.

I did that because my game kept crashing after 20 mins and this fixed it I saw this idea on another site but you posting it here just re assured it!
