Nonetheless, many people bought a lot of runes, sigils and food in advance. Why is it so hard to announce such changes 2 months in advance? So that we can use up our food and decide later which food to buy afterwards. Now, I lost a lot of gold.
Btw what is a furios focusing crystal? Never heard of that.

I don’t think that we will see SAB in 2016 now that they have even postponed the legendary weapons.

Disabling the item without giving us an alternative is a very bad style in my opinion. This is not how you treat your customers! Either offer us a refund or an alternative. But saying " Its use has temporarily been disabled" without even promising an ETA for the fix is honestly a slap in the face for all paying customers who trusted in your quality. The way you treated the infinite continue coin was already bad. But disabling a permanent item is simply lousy. Thus, you should either get it working within the day or offer us an alternative/refund.

Happened again today. The person did not return and was dced for >5 mins. Nevertheless, we lost a pip.

I didn’t see him coming back 5s before the match ended. Maybe he made it back in the last second though. I was not in a party with this guy. Nonetheless, I am very disappointed at the moment because it ruins the game and the fun.

I thought that I wouldn’t lose something when a teammate dcs? I have played 7 games today. 2 times someone dced at the beginning. Hence, we lost the first 100 points and the momentum was against us. Then in the last game of today, a teammate dced at 200-200. He didn’t return. I lost a pip. I’m totally frustrated at the moment. I don’t want to be punished for random quitters.
I simply guess that soloq is not a good idea if you want to have fun…

I have a really bad streak today. And it gets worse with every match. Now I’m together with “never go far” and “hey its 450-450 and enemy got a 2 cap. Let’s fight a little bit off-point” and “what’s tranq?”. Even the best rotation can’t help if you got these players.

Queue times were greatly reduced across the board, but ranked arena can always have longer queues if you climb the ladder faster than other people.

Did you evaluate this? Because I experienced shorter queues at the beginning of the season but now in Sapphire the average time is around 3 mins which was the same last season.

So the patch notes stated that the queuing times are reduced during this season. Actually, I see no difference. Do you experience shortened queuing times?

So, a very intersting thought crossed my mind today:
SAB will return on April 1st. This will be the third anniversary of the initial release. Additionally, there was recently that hint that SAB will return. Then, Josh sounded a little bit suspiscious in a video he uploaded. Finally, that_shaman is unusually silent in the past few weeks. He didn’t post any data mining post for some weeks. I assume he doesn’t want to spoil the return.

If we remember the old April fools’, there was always an option to buy the content from the gem store afterwards. So, it might be that a permanent SAB access is obtainable afterwards. I would definitely pay 2000 gems for that.

Of course, this is just a post to get the hopes up and most likely we will be depressed (again) when we see the lame April fools’ joke.

I honestly doubt that SAB will ever return if it won’t be released on April 1st. A lot of time has passed between the first post and now. Yet, anything that Anet has to say is “it will return someday”. (obviously not during any LS series or when an xpac is planned). We will have LS3 most likely beginning in April/May.

I have > 2000 hours on my account, playing since beta and am tired of walking around lonely. Main char is a Chrono but I have all classes on lvl 80 and I just started to play a full asc. condi Engi.
I’m usually playing on evenings (Fractals, PvP at the moment). I’m especially interested in raiding with a non pug group because I only have pug experience so far. Nevertheless, there are some weekends where I am away, so I won’t be able to participate in every guild mission.
I would be more than happy if you would invite me

Well aelfwe is totally right. They don’t even seem to know what they are doing. Moreover, having one or two chronos in a team should never be anything critical. But then again they feel the pressure of everyone complaining that pvp pro leagues are pointless with 2 bunker mesmers per team. Nevertheless, this should never be a reason to destroy a class in PvE.

This was true for the first two weeks. I added an lfg for lvl 76 last saturday and waited for 20 mins until I gave up and eventually changed the description to lvl 77. The group filled within a minute.

They are actually working on it. I hope it will be permanent.

How are the numbers misleading? They say that in 32% of cases one does not get at least one weapon or armor chest. So in 68% of cases one does get at least one if one does all 4 runs for 3 days.

I find the expression “on average” far worse, because noone thinks himself on the bad side of the average. People believe that the expression “on average” means that they have a 100% chance if they do it for the amount of time/repetitions.

Everything that matters in the end is the average. First of all: why would you be interested in the chance to don’t obtain a chest in 3 days? What does it tell you if you do fractals every day?

On the other hand, when you do fractals every day for a period of a year or so, you are most likely to get the average number of chests. The more fractals you do the closer you will get to the average number. That’s simple statistics.

Probably some bias. Some guilds are logging their drop research, if you take Kings# (in this case the pre 23/10/15) values and round them minmally you get chances for dropping weapons or armor of: 50 ~ 16; 40 ~ 9; 30 ~ 6; 20 ~ 5.
This results in a chance of not getting any armor or weapon of 0.6826092 for one day. Running three days would still result in a chance of aproximatly 0.32 of not getting a weapon or armor.

Personally I did not get every chest since HoT release but already got 2 chests, multiple rings and 1 fractal skin.

Let’s say dungeon and fractal bug fixes weren’t on the top priority list for the last 3 years.

I guess they just forgot about it. Only way to get it implemented will be to annoy them as long as needed.
However, at the moment there are no incentives to keep doing high level fracts as soon as you got your achievement. So, basically you can pull the infusions out and replace with +7 ones and add your old infusions back when you are done with lvl 100.

So no SAB in 2015 according to the blog post.

I would really like that. Yes it’s called MMO but I still have many Dungeon paths missing because whenever I try to enter a lfg group and tell them I’m inexperienced with that path they kick me.
Now you could argue that I should try to find a nice guild. That’s what I’ve done but everyone left a year ago due to the lack of content.

Anyway HoT price will be <= 45€.
I don’t think that it will be 45€ because this would equal a whole new game.

I’m really irritated that there is absolutely nothing new today. It’s not like we had much content the last few weeks either.

Are you talking about S1? Because back then episodes used to appear every 2 weeks but they stayed for 4 weeks.

A good solution would be an account wide permanent pass.

i think they delayed a lot scavenger precursor , because precursor was connected with a lot of stuff in game economy and they had to find a way to balance it without destroy economy….

They should never care about that. Maybe this is one of the reasons why they don’t add SAB back. They don’t want to destroy the prizes of weapons

So i have a male human mesmer and would like to have the butterfly as well. I would really appreciate if this sexist reason “males can’t wear butterflies” could be overcome. Especially when we already have purple butterfly animations…

Of course Mesmers have other advantages. But they suck in situations were illusions die immediatly.

A real problem about Mesmers is the leveling experience because they really need traits to for damage.

Then you have obviously not spent enough time on these forums. People will complain about anything. If they announced that SAB was going to be permanently opened the forums would be full of people complaining that SAB is stupid and detracts from their enjoyment of the game because it doesn’t make sense. There are a whole slew of people who find SAB to be immersion breaking and can’t stand the idea of other people who enjoy it being able to play it.

There will always be whiners, that’s true. But those who love the SAB won’t complain if there is no third level when it’s reopened. That’s just an assumption of course.
