I’m down to the two last achievements for LS2, and I have given a few attempts but my luck isn’t on my side.
So i turn to the community for help just to wrap those up.
PS I’m a EU player!

Crashed Canthan ship on the coast of Orr?? That’s a great idea!
I imagine something like this: We’ll get a report from some Pact member, that there’s a ship that crashed on the northern coast in Orr, and a Pact squad found them and helped them build a base for the survivors. And our character may say: “Wow! Let’s go there and talk to them! And after that I may stop in Arah and try to find something about Balthazar.”
From this we may get:
- a very valuable info about Cantha (or maybe southern Elona if that ship is from there?)
- a view of (partially, I guess) cleansed Orr
- something cool in Arah that may get us info about Balthazar and lead us to Elona
Could be related to the next LS season, but we will once it hit after the expansion.
I get thief but druid..really? Have you seen how much healing one can put out? If the melee train melts it’s game over
And they always blame the pve guy for their own fault. They even shoot out builds but no stats or anything else.. GG

3. Install the right software to keep your system protected and warn you of possible threats. (I recommend Avast Free Antivirus, Spybot, and ZoneAlarm Free Firewall. After installation, run full in-depth scans of your system!)
It’s possible the 2F Authentication is wonky with your account.
Or that, but that would be a strange issue (first time I’ve heard of it, especially in combination with a “pop-up” window).
Sorry, but ZoneAlarm Firewall isn’t necessary to install since Windows has it’s own firewall, and ZoneAlarm has never protected anything not even your wallet.
Good bye Colin. I hope your hype train will lead you onwards!
Thanks for leading the team into making one of the best mmos out there.
I had a blast since the first beta.
Godspeed Colin
Releasing the game earlier is unjustified to the players and paying xx amount of money just to get 1/3 of the content isn’t fair either. I remember when they stressed to get the final dungeon out in vanillla GW. it was just plain bad, and way to easy.
Yes they added grubs, but it wasn’t enough and the reward was bad for finishing Zhaitan off.
Congratulations for getting the proper quad core i5.
It also gave me finally a rock solid game performance where the various AMD Phenoms failed miserably.
All you now need is a (128GB minimum) SSD to run the OS from and GW2, and you won´t recognize your system.
Why one SSD? Get two one for OS and one for the “most” played games.
Wallet standing by!
I just hope I get lucky with a precursor, but I bet I won’t see one in a long time since I already got one and sold it.
Otherwise train farming was a great source of income, and selling t1 mats was another option while I was doing the daily.
The problem is mainly on googles policy, right now people can copyright troll youtube videos and submit false copyright claims via content ID without having to prove the request is a reasonable one – as seen when a bunch of blizzard games got flagged.
Like Mike B mentioned he got a video flagged because he used the word “poop”. Some kitten claimed the word poop was a copyright infrigment.
I just hope Google sort this kitten out.
Hard Mode was not in the original GW1 release. It came with an update I think even after campaign 3 (Nightfall). There’s plenty of time to introduce this.
Stop comparing the grown GW1 with the only one year old GW2. There is – hopefully – plenty to come.
Noticed it before they update came just hovered my mouse over the achievement tab in GW1, but yeah HM shouldn’t be added to GW2 for a reason. It would just through casual players out in the sea and the players won’t have the time to make any progress in the game.
I have the time, but I don’t wanna spend the majority of my time into this game.
It is better for ANet to focus on real content rather than upscale all the dungeons.
we do Teq 1-2times everyday on FSP with awsome Zinniy as commander. we have killed him i think 43 times now
Might jump in there sometime just to get it done and the 50% mark on Taco still haunts me.
Zhaitan has been stated by the devs to be certainly dead.
That said, it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if what’s happening now is that Tequatl is absorbing the power from his dead master. One day, a new Elder Dragon of Undeath will arise, and his name will be Tequatl.
Nooo, we should name him Taco the Deathbringer! I’m sorry but I couldn’t resist anyhow I don’t know what lore says about Tequatl, but it is not entirely impossible that he will be the new Zhaitan unless Taco died during this battle. (which is hard to say)
For some reason, I don’t know if it was lag or not, I and a few party members kept rubberbanding into the destroyed hologenerators at the final boss. This is terrible as he seems to love tossing gears into the general area, usually KOing the person who gets banded. This was the major reason for a string of wipes yesterday.
I’ve lagged out as well for no apparent reason since my interwebz works fine, but I got annoyed when I lost out an achievement because of that.
I had a few hours of trials and errors while doing this crazy jumping puzzle. I still made it even thou the adrenaline had its peaks now and then and some confusion at one point.
Here’s a novel idea, how ’bout players like you actually run people through the dungeon and teach them, instead of scaring them off with kitten like this. Then when you want to run you will actually have people to run it with.
Most players I know still haven’t even run all the dungeons after a year of solid play, largely because of players like you.
You’re like the industries that demand nothing but experienced professionals for years and years then can’t figure out why there are no more experienced professionals once that generation retires. People need experience, to become, experienced.
Ever heard about this thing called internet?
I heard you can look up guides and video tutorials on it, without wasting others’ time ingame. Whoah, I know.
Ofc, there always is a “first run”, but you can do a lot to improve that experience for both you, and the rest of the party. For me, it was enough motivation not wanting to be a big burden for my party, but I guess some people just don’t care and expect others to carry them through a dungeon they don’t know.
Sorry but it doesn’t matter how many guides you will read or watch a video on Youtube a player will always fail the first few times and learn how the mechanics works.
easy solution: 5 minutes before the event starts, the system should pop a “ready check” for everyone in the map, that would get rid of 90% of the AFKers
Err no it won’t because the system can still be abused. You are better off putting a debuff on the afkers, or just simply get transferred to the nearest WP that isn’t contested.
This is why we can’t have nice things.
Can’t really see that Rising of Tequatl is a living story it is just a minor revamp of a dragon more or less.
Rox is just there for flexing. ;>
They got a dev server and QA does the testing, but a PTR rarely helps because players will only test the content and never report the bugs.

Exactly. I played three games and figured out the game and now place anywhere from first to third in 7+ player races. The mini game isn’t hard at all sadly no reason people can’t earn it. This isn’t World of Warcraft. Earn your stuff by trying instead of having it given.
It’s not easy for everyone. In some cases, not easy purely due to factors outside of their control like latency.
I don’t think it was meant to be easy for everyone, that’s why it’s not required for the meta event. That being said, I can certainly understand the frustration of not being able to get an achievement point. I personally am having trouble with some of the kite ones. But I will continue to try and work at it, and everyone should try and work at the things they struggle with so they can get better at it. What’s the point of playing the game if you just get everything handed to you?
Coming 2nd is just as much work as coming 1st.
Nah who am I kidding. Getting 1st is easy if you get lucky with teleport power ups. It’s really a luck based title. Not skill based.
Actually, if you finish having used Light Speed, you don’t get the achievement. I had this happen – used two of em, took first, it said I had second, presumably due to having lost 10 points (two checkpoints)
I got 3 of them on my other account went in first without having any issues got the achievements so Light speed is working as intended.
What happened to Evennia back in GW1 since they didn’t want to tell the story back then. No cookies for you ArenaNet! >:C
I had the same issue don’t know why it happened, but I didn’t get any extra XP bonus rewards, nor any other which is supposed to be a fixed bonus value.
I would get an SSD, or maybe even two. The first SSD is just for the OS and the other one is just for games.
I had the same issues, but I reinstalled some older gfx drivers which hasn’t given me any TDR yet. I don’t know if the new drivers are just poorly written, but I can say it started with the 31×.xx drivers up until the latest release which caused the same issue.
Actually they do it has been that way since GW1 as well, but they had to keep it interesting otherwise it would have been pointless to keep it in the game.
It was frustrating but after 2 hours of mistakes I finally made it. I love a challenge and it was a challenge indeed. I think ArenaNet made it just right, but the only thing I don’t enjoy is the time pressure. XD
I craft with what I gather. Thus it is much cheaper for me to craft than to buy.
The real point of this topic: Don’t rely on TP for crafting, you’ll lose money.
You will still lose money eitherway and it doesn’t matter if you collect your own mats.
It takes a while to get the mats, craft the item and put it up lose a little on taxes. You eventually get it sold and bam another tax.
Mats is basically the TP’s current value and how much the item costs to craft and it’s current value on the TP.
You should be happy if you make a profit on it afaik I haven’t made any profit yet on my stuff.
I’d get upgrades even 10 slot bags helped a lot compared to those 8 ones..
Intel Ivy Bridge 3570k @ 3.4Ghz
