People are looking at this assuming that the reward “tiers” will be based on solely on the overall AP score.
What if Anet, categorizes rewards based on the player’s AP per category ( PVP, WvW, etc ). There is no meaning for a non WvW player to receive a “+10% World XP bonus” simply because he reached xxx AP.
So all this qq on daily/monthly APs having of equal AP value to some of the hard to get achievements can be solved by rewarding each achievement category differently.
samples:
Category – reward
xxx AP on Monthly/Daily Category – different endless tonics
xxx AP on Dungeon/Fractal related Category – Armor set / weapons
xxx AP on WvW related Category – Armor set / +world XP bonus
xxx AP on general PVE – mini pets / Armor set / weapons / MF bonus
xxx AP on PvP – cool finishing moves / Armor set

Raiding is something a group of people can do that requires coordination and structure.
I think Guild Missions is a great concept as a replacement for the typical raid.
Not only does it provide variety other than the typical killing a bad kitten boss, its much more flexible since you can do it multiple times, and with no player limit.
That said, I think the current guild missions still need tweaking to provide more challenge to guilds.

We have heard several stories where players mistakenly bought the wrong gear even with ArenaNet adding the confirm window but I was hoping they can help out a bit more…
Currently, dungeon gears/weapons are soulbound on acquire, what I am suggesting is that Arenanet change it to “Account Bound – Soulbound on Use” just like the molten pick. This way, players who made the mistake can pass it to an alt.
What do you guys think ?

You must wait 2 hours between runs on alts to get the full 60 tokens. It’s not a bug. This is intentional design.
I don’t think you need to wait for 2 hours.
The DR only hits if you do the same path consecutively,
if you do Toon1-P1>Toon1-P2>Toon2-P1, you should still get the 60 tokens.

i tried checking while in LA and on cursed shore where I am not scaled down, still the same, still not working.

as you can see in the images below I did not wear any armor/trinkets/weapons.
the initial 20% MF is from Guild buff ( 10% ) and MF Banner ( 10% )

both cases only shows 20% MF
tested with:
– chocolate omnomberry cream
– chocolate cherries
tested in level 80 areas ( so I won’t scale down ), problem still exists

I wish there is a preview for mini pets in the gems store, especially now that they are adding one new pet per week ( for 5 weeks, right ? ). I want to have an idea what it looks like before I buy it. They can just add the minis in the “style” tab.
Same goes for weapon skins, currently, we can only view it in stowed position, but armors ( robes ) are covering it up. Anet can just follow what they did with the preview window and show the “stowed”, “wielded”, and “weapon only” options in the Style tab.

- make the gathering tools/salvage kits stack up
- color-code the items by rarity in the chat log
- make item icons visually show their rarity ( color code icon edges perhaps ? )
- 70-90% aoe damage imunity for pets/minions/summons/illusions/etc
- being able to “compact inventory” on the special bags
- have an extra build that we can switch to on the fly.
- fix pve culling
- tweak world boss encounters and make it more challenging ( not necessarily longer )
- tweak guild bounty system to cater to small guilds
- exotic underwater mask
- more skins for wvw that can be bought with badges
- raid grp ( party with more than 5 people ) in the UI
- improve guild UI

i bought one, didn’t care much on the animation.
although I hope that when we will eventually have a higher tier of mats, the mining pick will also scale up otherwise they should make it account bound.

Coming from a small guild, I do feel the frustration. We usually have 10-15 people doing guild bounties. After the patch we have more bosses to track. And not tracking the NPCs in advance and rolling bounties with larger paths/random spawn points ( Lornar’s Pass, Blazeridge, etc) will most likely lead to failing the mission.
Here is my suggestion:
1. Group the NPCs according to the difficulty (to track and kill).
- 6 easiest NPCs = Tier 1 NPCs
– the next 6 NPCs = Tier 2 NPCs
– the last 6 NPCs = Tier 3 NPCs
2. Limit the NPCs that need to be killed/tracked according to tier.
- Tier 1 = kill 2 out of 6 T1 NPCs
– Tier 2 = kill 3 out of 12( T1 + T2 NPCs )
– Tier 3 = kill 6 out of 18 ( all )
so smaller guilds running with 15 or less members can enjoy T1 or T2 and not having to worry about getting an NPC that is very difficult to track.
Since Guild Merit is different on each tier, so it should be no problem.

definitely worth it.
I find Jewelcrafting and Artificing the easiest (most straightforward) to powerlevel.
Plus with Crafting Boosters + Artisan Bonus of your Server will give you atleast 25 free levels.

you probably haven’t tried crafting after the patch.
Before Patch:
1. Enter desired number of items to craft and click “craft” button.
Result: as expected
After patch:
1. Enter desired number of items to craft and click “craft” button.
Result: will only craft 1 item <— problem.
To craft a certain number or items, what you have to do is
1. Click on the number area
2. Hold Left Click and drag up (to increase amount) and down (to decrease)
3. Click “Craft” button
and I find this new method a little awkward.

Leveling is quite easy in this game and you can quickly move up to different zones which would sometimes require you to change gathering equipment to be effective on the nodes on that map. A perfect example for this is the transition from 1-15 => 15-25 map. I would still end up with a few extra copper tools.
We cant sell the extra tools.

the main Con I have with PVE MM builds, is that the minions wander off and attack other mobs. If only there was an “active” / “passive” pet button for necros…

If you might notice, in the WvW forums every week there is a thread being made asking for game score updates, so having this capability would be great.
- ability to stack gathering tools and salvaging items
- secondary spec.
As someone who does WvW, dungeon runs, PVE DE farming. I feel I am being forced into 1 build, its just too costly to re-spec every so often. So having a secondary spec could atleast lessen that burden. I understand that Anet probably wanted this to be a money sink but for me it limits the players to explore builds for doing different things in the game.
- highlight “salvageable items” / “phase-out unsalvageable items” in your inventory when double clicking the salvage kits.
- copy, paste and highlight other player’s text in Chat
- player should not be able to log out while in combat.
- grace period when a player gets disconnected while in WvW.
Its just frustrating to get WvW after several mins/ hrs of queuing and suddenly your game crashes.
- ability to buy more than 250 items with one click ( atleast raise max to 1000 )
- discovered non-random recipes in the mystic forge should be known/listed.
There are times when you discover a exotic weapon recipe, after several days, lets say you want to make another. You’d probably forget how you made the recipe. You had to search it on the net again.

Spectral Walk – If canceled while falling you get 60 sec CD but you wont get teleported back to your starting location.
@floppyjr: First I havent tested this, but if the allies where dead they wont be revived. The skill only works on downed players. But that skill seams to be unbalances to me, if you compare it with the Ele revive. Even if it works correctly and only revives downed players. more range, radius, less CD and more variation. But that’s an other story.
i ran CoF EM 3rd path the other day, the part were we need to defend an area with an incoming 7 or 8 waves of mobs and I remember being able to revive dead NPCs with the signet.
on that same day, I ran HoTW EM (forgot w/c path) but it was the final underwater boss, it was then I tried to use the signet but unfortunately unable to revive dead allies.
But you do have a point, the tooltip did say it only works for downed allies…
so does it mean that using it onland on dead players is a bug ?

Found a possible bug on “Signet of Undeath”.
I tried using the active skill of the Signet of Undeath underwater, but it not work and revive allies.
I think the active skill of the Signet might be “ground” based, so when someone dies underwater, they are most of the time not on the ground, so selecting and placing your mouse on the dead ally might not revive them.

I play an asura necro and i noticed, only Plague can be used underwater and no other.
I am not sure with other class/race, but i feel I am being forced to use Plague…
Can we have other Elite options ?
Worst part of it is… whenever i pop Plague skill, it will de-summon all of my other minions!
