Not sure if a bug or not but during the end boss fight & having to go at it repeatedly due to various defeated attempts, it was initially having the group run from the waypoint past the steam vents to the bosses. After a couple of times it was almost warping the party right in the same boss arena almost after going to a waypoint with little time to repair, switch weapons/skills.
Three things thought of recently;
1-I’ve seen on many other MMOs, is that on the character select screen should have (or the option to change it) where the different races have different backgrounds maybe even based on a few of the choices made (ie. Norn background, order specific background, finishing personal story background). I think it’d be interesting to see at the character select screen a background reflecting that my Norn thief is in the Order of Whispers.
Sometimes the lower portrait is different with it’s background but clicking on it brings up the same background.
2-If a mini pet is active don’t make it vanish when you press the button in the inventory to deposit all collectibles.
3-Would be Order specific quests, something that would give a bit more lore & history to the game but something that only certain Orders would have. While you could get help from friends, guild or anyone in the area (where it’s treated as an event for them for rewards), the person starting the mission would get access to other Order quests. Maybe even title rewards or unique town clothes from doing these order specific quests.
I would add more to your mentor in the order, either they are rescued after Claw Island, escaped or whatnot. Also make either team or solo story missions in the other dungeons before Arah to just make the lore more dense of how you fit into all the going’s on. Also there’s been plenty of the later missions where you only have yourself & Trehearne or maybe a squad of 6 which just doesn’t quite fit with common sense of what you are doing where you’d probably need more. Also just having more story missions that are non combat stuff but affecting different races or in your own city that just throws you into more of the lore of the game. Wouldn’t mind also where certain characters you had would get titles based off certain story choices where you have to pick.
Will have to look at this as didn’t notice it before, too busy getting attacked in Orr to be a tourist. Next time I’m there I’ll pull up the screenshot showing the collection of statues in Ascalon Settlement (up on a hill).
Well the first time you run into the gargoyles is underground so guessing they somehow went dormant if not extinct. Still possible to bring them back along with any other underground races like the dwarves through a few twists of fiction or groups from far off lands.
Guessing from the look that it’s undead or branded kodan or krait or charr.
Feel that the quaggan, kodan & skritt would probably work the best in the current collection of races though i’d prefer another, as it’d be quite easy to have a dwarven race in the depths of the lands from Guild Wars1 Factions/Nightfall finding a way to the rest of the current world of GW2.
Quite crazy on how this happened but agreed that hopefully that support can help. Maybe in the future if a guild leader tries to change rank without hitting the ‘stand down as guild leader’ button, the game just doesn’t allow the rank change to begin with.
Look on the Guild Wars2 wiki on the races out there to see if some racial skills look appealing, beyond that go with what appeals to you as they’re all quite capable. Lastly in the wiki you might want to preview the racial armor as you can only get this armor with specific races (not the same with the weapons anyone can purchase). Good luck.

As a leader of a small guild of friends on Darkhaven, I find that the idea of the various guild missions is a fascinating idea that offers a lot of possibilities to it. Only change I’d have preferred is, as the warfare upgrades has been last on the list of things to do, is to have a choice on the type of guild missions for the initial one not requiring merits to unlock (ie. instead of bounties being the first one required, let the guild choose then expand from there).
Wouldn’t mind this either as it’s a bit of a shame that the town clothes are rather limited to something you start with & that’s it except for the gem store. I’d be happy to explore the world for some tailor & leathercrafting recipes for some new town clothes to make for my own characters in addition to the other people in my guild.
