Bump! Also, it is worth mentioning I’m already getting some players that are interested so even though RHA was just created last night, I am confident we will have a nice little family by the end of the weekend. I am working intensively to recruit in members!

RHA is a tavern based guild currently taking up space in the Maiden’s Whisper, you will be hired to work at the tavern, or simply join to lounge around with us at the tavern. Once RHA expands, and the members are willing, we will implement hardcore RP.

Background: Lord Rot Horn has used up all his savings to open up a small bartending business in the Maiden’s Whisper. He uses his own personal inventory, and uses the bar to sell his inventory. Lord Rot Horn is in need of some workers to help him run his business, and has put flyers about the Reach to recruit employees. Although he does not realize it yet, his business will grow into followers of his allegiance, and will have a mission to lend a helping hand to anyone in Tyria that needs it (whether it be helping an old lady cross the street, or even fighting off those bullies for you!). This will happen as the business grows, and progresses over time.

I was always afraid to try to find someone because of how frantic his armor looks, and I always think it’s going to be too expensive.
Christmas is coming up now and I don’t care, so that being said..

But seriously this is a great quick fix and everyone should know about it.

I have a really bad memory and I have been farming today for a combo of dungeon sets and I want to do Arah but I completely forgot what paths I did for it today.. Or if I did one, I really can’t remember!
I wish there was some way you can check the specific dungeon paths we have done for the day, perhaps in the achievement panel? Otherwise for now.. I’ll have to write them down and I don’t remember exactly which ones I have done today

This only happened on the last boss of CoF p1 I believe it’s happened to me before in other instances but I never really pay attention, just thought I’d bring it up.
The weapon swap button greyed out, and is solidified, when I click on it nothing happens.

Cannot talk to this trader, pointer stays the same when you mouse over her.
I have the screen with WP, and if it makes a difference I’m playing on Tarnished Coast

I’m patiently waiting for this feature, I’m dying to change my Sylvari guardian to a Norn. I’ve been waiting since I hit level 50 and I’ve had this toon for a year.

I’ve been using Leatrix on Windows 7 64 bit for the past two hours, no issues but PERHAPS a SLIGHT performance drop. Thanks for the help! Hope it works for as long as possible

I’m so tired of this kitten, and it’s really kitten ing me off! This has been happening for a while now but it’s gotten to the point where every couple of minutes I dc. This needs to be fixed, this has been a problem for the longest but I have always blown it off, now it’s ridiculous and more annoying than ever. I recently saw a thread from A YEAR ago, talking about the same problem! Are you serious?! How about we fix these issues instead of dispensing content every two weeks.

And those saying not to get it because he might not like the game later, so what? Even if for some reason he dislikes the game, the tattoo is all about the design of that particular monster, not the game as a whole. That argument would make much more sense if someone wanted that dragony ‘2’ as a tattoo.

Seriously though, go for a tattoo that has lasting value. Not a tattoo based on a game that you like right now, but might not be playing anymore one year from now. You’re stuck with that thing for life, and getting it removed is extremely painful.

I played WoW for 7 years, it still has a place in my heart and many memories.
GW2 I’ve been playing since release, it’s been fun and I have been in love with the art since I first saw it. Ever since I first saw the Eye of Zhaitan I had a fascination of how it looked and the design around the eyeball.
Video games in general I have been playing since my hands were big enough for an n64 controller, I would watch my uncle play video games ever since I had those little walkers. Video games are a very big passion for me so I’m definitely not going to regret it and plus I’m going to be adding a appealing design behind the eye so if for some reason I find the eye repulsive I at least have something pretty around it. Also, I’m pretty kitten aware that a tattoo is permanent, I have two, every time I scratch them they don’t come off.

I’m considering getting an Eye of Zhaitan tattoo but I need a clear picture of it and I haven’t really had any luck. Concept art would be much preferred or if you can get a 1080p maxed graphics full screenie of the front that would be nice too (I run gw2 on a laptop so thats not an option for me)

if your server isnt very active in clearing orr events, you can always guest on a different server. i had troubles with exploring certain areas, getting some skill challenges and so on, so i just guested on tarnished coast/jade quarry, cause most of the temples/waypoints are uncontested there due to high player activity in those areas.

I know this has been addressed before.. but I’ve been level 80 for the first time for about a week and I’m starting to lose my patience with this place.. I’m trying to explore further into the island and get into ruins of Orr so I can finish up my personal story but I can’t cause EVERY waypoint is contested and I keep dying so I have to wp allll the way back to Fort Trinity.. Now I get frustrated pretty easy, like in dungeons, but that’s a good frustrated. This is a bad frustrated, I literally cannot progress any further because of mobs and I would gather a group to explore but 1. I’m a busy man and 2. There are few people that are going to want to help me out plus the amount of contested wp’s are ridiculous. I’ve been trying for the past week to keep going for my personal story but I can’t, I’m stuck farming dungeons now and it’s really upsetting. I don’t even know if Ruins of Orr is the same way or not, but as far as Straits of Devestation, this needs to be fixed Arenanet. I don’t know if you’re wanting people to group up by the masses and wipe out all contested wp’s only to have them taken over in half an hour or if the population is so low in this area that no one ever clears it out. A fix for this.. PLEASE

Have you read Sylvari lore? They love based on personality.

When I first came into the game I had no idea what I was getting into, I had no idea what cultural armor was until a couple of weeks ago I’m still learning and getting to 80. I made a guardian Sylvari because I figured it would be cool, and now I’m lvl 63 and I’m stuck with him forever, I would love to have a guardian Norn but I will never have that unless I leveled a whole new character and I just refuse to do such a thing. I completely regret making my Sylvari a guardian, and I can’t do anything about it..

Aren’t starter zone bosses meant to be easy? Keep in mind lower level players don’t have all skills yet and are barely learning the game still. Starter bosses are a bit of a taste for them for what’s in store in the future and it’s a great learning experience, not a hair ripping frustration fest.

I’ve come to discover that if you want to have fun in this game you have to seek it. It’s not something that is handed to you on a platter with direction arrows and light up signs much like wow is, this is more mature and requires exploration. There’s constant updates going through this game so there’s no excuse for it to get boring, and if you do get so bored go RP. And I personally like the pvp, it’s simple pick up and go fun.

I recently got my uncle to buy gw2 and I bought the game for my little cousins and we’re having a complete blast! However it would love to see a feature that benefits you and the new player you have recruited for example, 150% xp boost when with your friend or something along those lines.

Don’t worry, they’ll save. And the achievements are account based, not character based. So if you find 10 with one character and then log in with a different one, you’ll only need to find 30.

This system is awesome, being a person that doesn’t do any type of skills (mining, armor soothing, etc.) getting a bit of extra pocket change for completing achievements is helpful for a broke bum on a serious note, I really would like to see a way to keep track of how many achievement points for you earn in one day then reset the next day, because from what I’ve heard you can earn a chest daily, if I’m wrong, disregard. Also I noticed the achievement interface has changed and it shows recent achievements which is awesome, but one thing I wish to see in the future is a lone tab that shows all title achievements for easy access, I love titles and have no clue how to earn them in this game yet because I just don’t see them anywhere in the interface

Not sure about the second part, but the sky crystals are for one of the achievements associated with the new content. You need to find 40 out of 50 (I think) in order to complete the achievement. They’re not necessary to completing the meta achievement, so they’re just there as an option.

Do they save after logging out? And if I log onto another toon will I have to re find them from the beginning?

What are the sky Crystals for? And how do I keep track of how many I collect, and how do you climb up the mast that’s stacked like a Jenga tower? Cause I jumped all the way up and ran out of jumping aspect stacks

I think the way it is right now is perfect. I also used to think the temporary content was a bad idea I actually hated it! But then I realized it’s Anet’s way of keeping the content fresh a fresh and exciting.

Guild Wars 2 got a really good RP world.

I have myself not roleplayed in Guild Wars 2 seriously (I have only guested on Piken Square and check other people roleplay because I think it’s fun.)

The things Guild Wars 2 needs though to get better and enhance the roleplay more is to have more interracting world, that meaning being able to sit on chairs with a click, improved chat options and channels, and also smoother emotes (smoother emotes being that you should be able to go from /sleeping to /standing in an animation instead of blinking up, and that your weapons are still shown on your character instead of disappearing the moment you do your emote.)

I was thinking the same thing, it kind of ruins the moment when I have to bolt up to get up from someone throwing me down or something lol I and the dragon wings disappearing too

I RP’d all week last week up till this week and still have alot if fun doing so, even more because my character is pretty well known in the Flagon. But throughout that week I also realized how underrated and hated rp is specifically by people who have never tried it. I’ve posted about my experience from one day on here and it took up almost a paragraph but if I explained what I did all week including the short amount I RP ‘d during my four day weekend.. It would be an immense amount of space taken up. RP’ing has saved mmos for me for good, due to its ever changing community and environment, and I highly encourage those who do not rp to at least give it a shot, I was a rp basher for 6+ years and now that I’ve tried it, I love it! If you ever want me to give you a little tour of the wonderful world of the unofficial rp server Tarnished Coast, feel free to message me, I will be more than happy to guide you to learning the basics.

I RP alot with a spoiled orphaned Charr, and other Charrs often ask, did you go to a fahrar? What is your title? And since my character is spoiled and arrogant I just tell them I never needed that garbage I’m Lord so and so lol. But I want a better understanding of what happens to a Charr from birth till he is old enough to venture on his own, so I can develop a deeper story for this arrogant Charr (;

Tarnished Coast

I have been playing mmos for 6+ years and today I tried out something j thought I never would.. RP, it was one of the best gaming experiences ever.. I it was the longest I played GW2 straight (about 5 hours) and it was worth it! In one sitting I experienced a drunken friend puking in the bar, a shady human splashing lsd liquid on people’s faces, a revolution ceremony, a bit of bartending, a shady human performing “compatability experiments” on my friend and I ended up busting in the room with the room’s owner and saved her. Then seraphs were involved (people dressed and rping as them) and they asked questions then we searched for the human and cornered him back into the rooms upstairs and they arrested him.. It was an amazing experience and to think I made fun of rping for so long.. Everyone should try it at least once, there’s never a dull moment and something different happens every minute!

If you want to wear plate and use rifles just roll a warrior

Being a huge fan of voice acting alone I just wanted to recognize Tybalt’s voice actor because to me it seemed like he put the most enthusiasm and heart into his character and compared to the others he has a personality and character that stick. So props to you for sticking out among the few or many!

I vote for annual events that differ every year in some way

My main is a 44 guardian I feel like the game is lacking the social aspect for me so I’m just looking for a guild that’ll run dungeons and just hang out. I’m on Yaks Bend and I’ve been on and off playing since release so I know just a bit about the game.

I recently bought an armor set with karma and I was wondering if adding upgrades with stones will take away the armor set upgrade completely.. the armor set requires two pieces of armor for the upgrade and I have 6 pieces… so if I upgrade on piece will it just say 5/2 and keep the armor set upgrade? It also gives me a pop up saying it will destroy the upgrade on that piece.
