I apologize if this has already been cleared up, but I can’t find any information on it. Will those of us on different servers as our guild’s main server still need to guest to get rewards for guild missions?
Race: Sylvari
Sex: Female
Class: All
Issue: Part of armor will not dye
Item: Nightmare Court Pauldrons
There is a small section of the nightmare court pauldrons (in the front, towards the center on each side) that remains the sylvari body color no matter what dye is applied to it. This is not the case on any other race. Screen shots of this piece in red on two sylvari and all other races for comparison are attached.
When I heard I’d be able to change traits at will, I was ecstatic. It’s a wonderful idea that would allow people to try new builds and refine their character in the fly. I absolutely love it… on my pre-patch level 80.
My new alts, however, do not get this luxury. Unless I have spent time doing very specific things that Anet has chosen, I can’t swap traits on the fly, because I don’t have any. On a new character these changes have overridden each other, making it even harder than before to swap traits. Pre-patch, it was only a few silver to have all your traits available to you again. Now? Hours and hours of work. I love this game, but I don’t even want to level a new character anymore because of how overwhelmed I am with all this
Many players enjoy GW2 because they choose how they want to level up, not the game company. This change does not abide by this philosophy at all. I hope that Anet will take my and others’ reactions into account and consider changing this new system to better align with their overall philosophies.
I just noticed this the other day and was annoyed by it as well. Especially since there is no way to see item info from the TP, you have to wiki it.
Just got done doing Rookie Camp and Arah P3 with some of your members! (This is Lucemiya/Sana Wolfgaurd) I have been looking for an alternate guild to play with when my current guild members are inactive (a great majority of the time as of late), specifically a larger guild with lots of events. I’d love to join you guys if you’ll have me. I love to learn new things and help new players. Message me in game if you have any questions or want to chat!

Hello!
Looking for some friendly people for map completion, world boss tours, dungeons, AFKing in LA Gendarran Fields, anything really. Voice communication server is a plus as I like chatting with people Would like a larger guild, but no activity requirements.
I am a part of a small guild of real life friends and I will not be leaving it. I’m looking for another guild because mine is small and somewhat inactive as of late. I will definitely represent my new guild when playing with guildies, but it will not be 100% of the time, as I still want to play with my real life friends when they are on.
Though I don’t really want to join a guild with hardcore requirements, I’ll give you a little bit of info about my GW2 experience in case you’re curious. I’ve been playing for about a year now, though I did take a short break last fall. I currently have an 80 Warrior, 46 Ranger and 16 Elementalist. I run dungeons on my warrior (most experienced with CoE and AC) and would love to learn more paths. Will join for WvW, though I suck at it (Only did enough to get map completion). Have only done Fractals… once, I think. Haven’t done any PvP except for the tutorial. Willing to try anything though!
Oh, also, I love helping new players! Low level map completion in groups is really fun. So as payment for letting me in I can help your noobs!
Please message my in game with any questions! Would love to chat with you
Thanks!

My biggest chat request is a separate setting for notifications of friends and guildmates logging in and out. If I want to see this information now I have to be bombarded with other information I don’t want. These should be separated.
So, story wise, why would citizens give you one of their special family heirlooms? And why would you then turn it in to the lost-and-found when you already know they gave it away and wouldn’t be looking for it?
I get that you want more heirlooms, but your suggestion doesn’t make much sense in terms of the story.
I got two Mini Holographic Risen Knights.
I downloaded an app on my phone so I could watch when we owned what I needed.
What app?
I’ve been wondering about the legality of “off-mapping”. If you’re just looking around, is it a bannable offense? Do we have any official word on this sort of thing?
I think Warrior is generally thought to be one of the easiest for solo PvE. I’d try that.
Well, 40 for each profession/race combination, and then…?
Maybe the different biography or order choices?
I do think it would add more interesting gameplay if it wasn’t an optional tickbox, so ‘night-raids’ could be an actual thing in WvW and nighttime exploring would be much more imersive in PvE.
I’ve also had this idea rattling around for sometime about making the condition ‘Blind’ actually do just that; temporarily darken or even blacken the screen (except UI) for the duration of the condition. Sort of like what they did with Liadri and the Toxic Alliance ‘nightmares’. But that’s a bit off-topic and maybe I’ll make a thread about it myself someday.
I get that condition all the time. I call it “D*mn cat I can’t see the screen, get out of the way!”
I just sat on the boxes to the left and waited for the first flag to respawn over and over again. If you get in the right spot they won’t catch you and you can just camp there the entire time.
So happy I can finally join this thread. Here’s my Warrior:
Inquest Pauldrons
Warden Coat
Splint Gauntlets
Oaken Leggings
Mending Greaves
I would like to pose a challenge to the Guild Wars 2 Community: Achieve 100% World Completion on a single character — With this waypoint being your last item.
Watch your step, my friends ;)
Ah, edited to add I’m mainly looking for PvE and dungeon builds right now. Thanks though!
I will be hitting 80 soon on my first character and I need a sort of… introduction to choosing a build. Googling “guild wars 2 warrior greatsword builds” yields sites with hundreds of submitted builds with a list of traits and skills and no explanation, or forum posts with 50 people describing their very specific version of the “best” build. What I need is an explanation of different types/categories of builds, or maybe a list (w/ descriptions!) of the top 5 most commonly used builds. Something a little less daunting for a beginner that will get me going in the right direction. I can branch out and start tweaking once I’ve got the basic options down. I’m thinking of using a greatsword and something ranged, and for now I’m only worried about PvE & dungeons, if that helps narrow it down a bit.
Thanks for any help you can provide!

Thank you! I went to try the “walk around to the right” plan, but when I went back the quorum had ended. Thanks for your help!
I am trying to get the War Council PoI in the Command Core instance of Black Citadel. When I try to walk to the center of the room, a Charr pushes me away and says that I cannot enter while the “defense quorum” is going on. How can I get this PoI?
