Can we put stacks of items in these? Like potions or Instant Bank Access?

I don’t know whether this has been reported or not, or if it is intentional, but when in a party doing story instances, the story owner always gets a mastery point, and even if the other party members accept the progress, they do not. So we have to redo story again for each party member and they need to be the story instance owner to get access to that mastery point.
I’ve only experienced this with a 2 man party so far, but I feel as if this pushes people away from playing as a team in personal story.

Scythe skin looted early on in the game (sold it for like 70 gold at the time, was a lot of dough)

Scarlet’s Rainbow, rifle dropped on the very last time I did the Breachmaker battle before the patch dropped. Held onto it for long before deciding to equip it, as Scarlet memorabilia lol.

Not in the original soundtrack… and people can say what they want against Scarlet.. but she had -awesome- music! Battle on the Breachmaker, Twisted Marionette Part 1 and 2, thank you Lena and Maclaine for coming up with such great compositions!

There’s one left on the TP.. and it’s 1100 gold lol. I was aiming for the focus. I’m not gonna get satisfaction unless I get more monkey shaped weapon skins! ; )

Found this response from a member of the Anet team. It doesnt say explicity they wont return, but it is implied.

I’m still very dissapointed with my personal loss, but agree with most of what’s been said on there. I understand about the TP prices, and the frustration of paying for something that would end up coming back. I’d be annoyed as well.

Just think we should get a heads up before they get removed, that’s all. There’s enough RNG in the game as it is without having to worry about black lion weapons dissapearing. You sneaky devs!

I recently managed to get 5 complete Black Lion Tickets, I was finally going to get my hands on the one weapon skin I have been aiming for for the past several months.

Since Anet has always (I think?) mentionned before when they were removing certain sets from the merchants before actually doing so, I figured I wasn’t at risk, and maybe but not necessarily, hope that some of it would be at a discount, as it has happened before.

You probably get where this is going by now. Zodiac weapons seem to have left without so much as a mere mention? This makes me pretty sad. : ( Part of me hopes that it’s because they will make a comeback, but I’m also doubtful with the outrageous prices on the tp.

I guess part of it is on me for waiting for so long and taking for granted that we would be warned, but I still think that getting a heads up a couple of days before would still be the best alternative.

I was saving the fun for when the actual expansion comes out but.. when all my friends started dropping portals, I figured I wanted to be part of it too, lol. Farmed for over 40 hours with 400% MF to no avail. At least now I know that there’s a slim chance. Fingers crossed! : )

My main has a full set of berserker ascended, and I’m working towards ascended for my other toons, but sometimes the stat set you get doesn’t match any of the toons or is kitten.

It sucks that the box can only be sold for 3.2 silver to a vendor. I wish I could just flip it on the TP, but at the end of the day, I understand why these items are account bound and I wouldn’t want the ascended armor becoming as common as Legendaries. I wish you could at least get a couple of Gold out of the vendors (cheap kitten vendors man).

Anyways, anyone drop their Ascended Armor boxes? How’d it feel. I don’t want to let go. sob

Agree with you there. My daily Tequatl spoon sells for higher than an ascended box would. If at least they’d give you a gold for it, haha. I like the idea of salvaging it and getting a bunch of T7.

A good while ago, ANET mentionned about the future acquisition of precursor weapons that it would not be an easy task. That they liked where the market was at the moment. Since then, prices have double, even tripled in some cases, going from 600 gold to 1600 gold.

I have made 2 legendary weapons since I started GW2 when it first came out. I am wondering whether this is available to new players now? Or even older players that are starting from scratch with this goal? Sure, it’s easier to make money now, but since prices jumped from 600 to 1600 gold, nothing much has changed in the economy. Dungeons still pretty much remain the best way to farm gold. I did it to get to 600 gold to buy Dawn off the TP. But to get to 1600 gold? That’s a heck of a lot of grinding. Even making about 2 gold per path if you get that lucky will require you to run 800 times.

So it’s either that or you rely on RNG, which I’ve mostly given up on. Now I know. Legendaries aren’t supposed to be easy to get. You have to work for it. And precursor aside, it is a lot of work. At this point in the game, calling “lazy” the people that don’t want to spend countless hours grinding dungeons to buy it off the TP seems downright silly. To me, that much grinding would just put off anyone from wanting to make a new legendary.

Now the target audience of my question obviously isn’t for those that play the tp and are crazy rich or for those that have gotten incredibly lucky. It’s for the average player invested enough in the game to aim for a legendary weapon, be it new player or old. Opinions?

Same. At 200+ and I’ve yet to drop one. :/

My GF got 4 out of her first 5 chests and she can’t even give me one.

I’ve given up on farming them and just see if a key will show up from those sand piles..

0 out of 80+ chests so far.

My girlfriend got 4 out of the first 6 chests she opened. None since.

That’s some pretty messed up RNG.
