Path of Fire expansion announcement videos instantly drew me back to Guild Wars 2 after about 4 years of hiatus from it.

Just threw my money at the double-expansion package (HoT and PoF), and never looked back <3

Love Asian-designed gears. I’d grind my organs away for these armor designs in gw2 ;o

I enjoy the general idea of public profiles. I am leaning more towards profiles that shows off one’s achievements and accomplishments. Displaying titles was a nice baby step toward this idea.

An intro to officers and recollection of memories with my guild, Leaders [LEAD] during my leadership. Enjoy!

Make GW2 more than just a big artsy theme park!

1.) I love leveling in general, but levels in GW2 almost seem lackluster when they just get scaled up and down depending on the content; so they might as well be removed or give more meaning to them.
2.) Player-housing system and Guild hall!
3.) Build-Templates. (allows you to conveniently and swiftly change builds)
4.) Wardrobe for skins. Once you obtain it, you unlock it for the rest of your toons on that account.
5.) Make personal stories have a bigger impact in the game and make us feel more heroic than our NPCs; I feel merely as a mercenary for these heroic NPCs.
6.) Vanity progression
7.) “Add some traditional “!” quests with fun/unique rewards.”

8.) Enhance the value of old contents
9.) More diverse builds
10.) Make skills more fun and challenging to obtain.
11.) Make achievements feel more like real achievements. (Kill 1000 this, 1000 that, etc.; errrrrr…. That lack of depth to these achievements ._.) Some of the more time-requiring achievements such as finishing 500 fotms award not even a title whereas there is a title for pressing F 25 times (Title: Finders Keepers). Make these achievements more challenging, worthwhile and reasonable to do. And no, that does not mean boost to Kill 1000000 of that. The state of achievements at the moment is merely a grind-fest for the most part.
12.) Make dynamic events more rewarding. I don’t see much player-activity in these dynamic events anymore.
13.) Make non-zerk builds more viable in PvE. Non-zerk builds are as rare as precursors in the land of Tyria.
14.) RNG, horrible and not proportional across game contents. (Eg. WvW meta chest… most of us could have gotten all the same value of loots from that chest by farming a few champs in beginner’s zone, Queensdale)
16.) Aesthetics (skins) and achievement points as main rewards? (Looking back at Living Stories’ rewards). Anet, you can do better!
18.) Higher tier gears should have more functions that give them more depth and clear-cut advantages.
19.) “Give legendary weapons backstories/lore to make them feel more legendary (dunno what can be done for the unicorn launcher though). Also make them un-tradeable in the marketplace.”
20.) Unlockable visuals such as footsteps.
21.) Make GW2 the game it was originally planned to be.

I feel as if your efforts, blood, sweat and tears to better the game are sometimes overlooked so…
I just wanted to say that I am thankful to ANET for being such a hardworking company and always doing their best to make GW2 a better game for everyone.
Last but not least, I am thankful to our fellow players (Tyrians) for all the community-created events and just simply playing the game; OH and of course thankful for all the friendly revives too. Cheers!

Any with Verizon having this issue? Been getting this issue ever since teq revamp-patch.
Verizon and Anet keeps dumping the ball to each other about who is at fault.

Problem is, I can’t shake off the feeling that I am merely a mercenary while the NPC is the hero.

I have been getting constant error 7s ever since few days ago. Happens every 10 to 15 minute. Everything else that requires net is running smoothly except gw2. I play lots of online games, and gw2 is the first online game I am always having net issues with.

Anet, i’ll love u more than how much i already love you if you guys can hire designers with these art styles for armors…so beautiful ;~;. For a game that’s pretty much all about skins (Skin Wars)… this is the right move! Asian art styles, dabest.

Pre-season I experienced little to no lag unless I really felt like getting stuck in during an SM three-way at prime time. Now it’s just horrible and for the first time ever I had to stop playing WvW on Monday at around 12pm (GMT) because I was experiencing so much lag. You know what I was doing at the time I had to log out? Solo-roaming on my home borderland. That lag – it gets you wherever you are.

I suggest implementing a SENT panel in the inbox, so the sender could at least re-contact the wrongfully mail-received player. I have sent mails to the wrong player before and don’t remember the misspelled name, so I wasn’t able to apologize or clear things out about the wrongfully sent mail. @Anet

Are there any benefits of the fact that glory will be removed? Some kind of game balance? Reason for players to do any new activities?

Anet team did say long ago that they have too many unique currencies in-game, so I am sure decreasing the variety for simplicity is one of the factors.

As an achievement hoarder… it was like a second job to me, since if you miss any of the dailies, you can never make up for it so I had to force myself to go online on the daily for those points.

Yeah, only logging on for dailies and living story now.
I keep playing because I truly believe Gw2 isn’t at its prime yet and also believe in anet that they will get gw2 there. Their work ethics and dedication to the game are unquestionable.

Speaking of glory, for the chests that we currently have in our inventory…what would happen to its rewards if we open it after the glory boosters/rewards get phased out. Would there be any amendments to the rewards in the chests? (eg. chests’ glory boosters being replaced with another reward?)

And also, any type of compensations to our glory boosters if we do not use them by March 18th? (eg. trade in for a set amount of gold, etc). Players such as myself that have stacks and stacks of these boosters will more than likely not be able to use them all (productively) before the phasing out of the glory rewards.

This is a well-thought out post that took the words right out of my mouth, or more precisely… a post that I couldn’t have said better myself.

Will you please post this in the “Suggestions” panel or (to mod) transfer it over to that panel? I find it more relevant and viable there.

I still have high hopes though with the game. Anet is a great company with great passion, work ethics and resources. Endless possibilities! Slowly but surely gw2 will become that game we all are looking for.

Not fond of enemy nodes appearing on mini map, showing contested cap points are enough for me imo. Too squished, hectic and cluttered now on the mini map _
