heh yesterday i joined for ac and one elementalist got kicked and me on elementalist was forced to relog to warrior otherwise i’d be kicked. I explained to them ele has better dps and fgs, icebow is useful. They told me i was wrong.

Oh nice and there is an easy way to prevent detha from bugging. Just run far into the room and make sure she is out of combat before entering the orange circle indicated on the mini map

I know which attack this is and it always 1 hit me on my zerk guardian before patch, so i learnt to dodge it.

There is in some pugs but guild groups will usually have less heavies than other classes.
Just join a guild.

Edit- good guilds will (i can’t speak on behalf of every single guild)

AC – ele (Frostbow on burrows is nice)
CM – Thief (stealth is nice for the skips)
TA – Guardian ( I like the staff for taking out the blossoms)

Yup and 1) I already told you if the nerfs to reflect and stability cooldown were significant people would just run with more guardians 2) Guardians aren’t the only class with reflects/absorbs and group stability.

I know how to use banners, nerfing them would just be a decrease in dps, they wouldn’t make the game any more difficult unless you’re a mouth breather who can’t survive without banner of defence.

Yup it’s much harder to play a cleric guardian than a dps build, it’s ridiculous that these zerkers have access to reflects and stability….. genius

You’ve derailed again from your original comment which was about class balance, somehow you’re now talking about youtube dungeon run videos, running with pugs and dungeon tactics.

The longer cool downs wouldn’t really do much in terms of difficulty unless you for some reason rely on healer/protection guardians, for good groups that change really wouldn’t do much. Even if it did impact groups they would just bring 2 guards instead of 1 or 3 instead of 2 etc, etc. Nerfing banners doesn’t make content harder it just makes things slower and the rest of your ideas aren’t even class balances so completely irrelevant to your original point. Maybe read your original comment, you originally insinuated that class balances would make dungeons more difficult rather than my idea of actually have more difficult content made, so why are you now contradicting yourself and supporting my point by listing ways to make content harder lol

You haven’t actually suggested any balance ideas which would make content harder, you’ve just exaggerated how powerful guardians are, is your idea of balance removing aegis, blinds and reflects? And I’m pretty sure that easier mode is story mode.

Please, tone down this dungeon. Dungeons should be fun challenges, not traumatic ordeals that make you want to sacrifice kittens to Elder Gods or break down in tears. I’ll be back on the 15th, maybe.

This is why we will never actually get difficult content, too many players already ask for the content we have to be made easier.

My problem isn’t the boss though, it’s the Adds he spawns, he seems to spawn them while I fight him (so I’m not stacked in the corner) and they end up unloading me while I avoid the boss damage :P. Is there any set time or interval at which he spawns them (Like every 1 minute, or every 25% HP) that would help me a lot.

I’d be really interested into seeing that new spots, let me know how it turns out!

I feel like anet doesn’t actually have any intent on nerfing it because they mentioned FGS in their feature patch (fixing the use of fiery rush so that it stops working after a teleport, like blink or lightning flash) but no mention of nerfing the damage from the trail.

It seems like nerfing it isn’t a possibility at the moment because it might make those groups that rely a little bit too much on overpowered ele conjures to beat things like the wurm and tequatl cry too much if all that stuff got nerfed to a reasonable amount of damage.

They said on the twitch live stream they’re fixing it with blink in the feature patch and it will still work by using it into the wall for the moment but they plan to fix the use of fgs into the wall in the future, I think the stream is probably on youtube.

In that case it is around 55 % My original math assumed that open world pve was 50/50

It’s day time 51% of the time in PvE.

I use fraps aswell and it causes my fps to drop and sometimes me screen to freeze during major fps spikes :/

Hahaha that certain person isn’t going to upload it because he isn’t happy with it. He has a p4 full solo he will upload though :P (he isn’t happy with that either he had delay lag most the time.. at one point his skills wouldn’t even activate at grenth)
