Um… Suriel was available on the first Gauntlet…
Whoops my bad. Guess I just didn’t remember her.
Well Liadri is the Concealing Dark… this coming Gauntlet they put in Suriel the Blazing Light…
I can imagine Suriel doing something like that… I wonder if she has a mini too…

yh I’ve tried that one, but it contains wrong nodes and incomplete maps
If you’re in a relatively small population server, at least in terms of pve (like us in IoJ), you’re probably experiencing zone reloading due to the lack of people going through that particular zone. This was only told to me by a guildie and might not actually be accurate, but I took the advice since running 6 toons across Orr with individually different node locations can be frustrating.
You could also be checking gw2nodes.com right after an update or patch, which is why the nodes might still be not updated.
If you’re situation is similar to the former, then I advice you to guest to the bigger servers (especially the ones who always do the temple events) and check their nodes in gw2nodes.com. They will almost always be up to date. My personal preferences are Blackgate, Jade Quarry, and Tarnished Coast.
I’m not sure there are particular servers specifically going after Vet Karkas but Blackgate, and probably Jade Quarry and Tarnished Coast too, almost always do the Karka Queen event. While they don’t particularly go after the vets, the zerg will most likely kill anything in the immediate area of the pre events and the main event anyway. I hope that helps.
Farming the lodestones can be a pain. While the cores are cheap in the tp compared to before, the process of transmuting them into lodestones is both tedious and still a bit costly. You’ll need about half of the tp price of Volcanus (could be less/more, depending on if you’re willing to wait for your buy orders) for the cores and elonian wines and a few other materials you may be missing, and loads of excess skill points you don’t mind throwing away for that weapon. If you manage to get all the materials needed, it could take you about an hour or more standing in front of the toilet clicking those cores and wines and crystals etc etc to make the lodestones.
This is how I made my Volcanus by the way. :P
Happened just now as well. Poodles…
Are you going for the goth look? In that case I’ll give it an 8/10. She’s too pale though.
Here’s mine. I added a screen from the select screen cuz in game shots do not do her justice:
Wow that’s some nice bell ringing.
No problem,we don’t use any vent!)
We don’t really have a lot of members but we usually have quite a few online throughout the day including me. We’re the Infection of Tyria,a pretty casual guild from Isle of Janthir. Send me a whisper in game if you’d like to try us out.
May I ask what level you are atm? Mesmers start really pathetic but start to shine once they hit around 30 to 40 if properly traited. And IMO mesmers aren’t meant to be played straightforward, you have to be aware of the situation and your surroundings or you will die really fast. You may have to play a lot of keep away for the most part of your early levels.
If you prefer not to use the GS, the staff is always a good option.
While at one of the skill points somewhere in WvW, I alt tabbed to check my browser for a bit. When I went back on GW2, I was being pounded by a thief and I was already about half life. Luckily he wasn’t a burst thief so I was still alive. I managed to down him but he downed me too right after I did so. What transpired after was a bloody match of throwing stones at each other to the death. I won though.
Thieves are quite useful in dungeons due to some utility skills. Number one would be Shadow Refuge, then you have Smoke Screen (and other related or similar utilities) and Scorpion Wire. Depending on your traits you can be quite supportive of your groupies.
A lot (or maybe some) would say that crafting or buying an exotic mf set is a waste.
But for me yeah my warrior’s running around with an exotic 80 mf set, trinkets included, and I don’t care even if someone tells me I wasted my gold. I know I’m enjoying myself. Bottom line is, as much as there isn’t a really huge difference in total mf between the rare and exotic set (I think it’s only 6% from the trinkets, not sure), I like the idea of having the most stats including mf I can get from gear.
I haven’t really tried going into a dungeon wearing mf set, but the the general consensus is that it’s a bad idea.
I have an 80 thief that I pretty much geared to the max already before I started seriously working on my mesmer. Now my mesmer’s 80 already and sometimes I even forget I have a geared thief. I only remember my thief now when I need to farm.
And it’s true, the general consensus is that mesmers feel weak in the early levels but once you’ve traited yourself properly for your weapons you’ll enjoy it very much.
From what I learned by searching (not strictly in this forum),you can get one by feeding 4 rare level 80 (not sure if only 80, some say you can also get it with level 70+ ones) daggers to Zomorros. I don’t know the chances of getting it though. Well worth a try.
Mine’s weird because after a long loading screen, sometimes I’ll get disconnected from the server and get spat out to the desktop then GW2 will start up the log in screen again. I could be suffering from a really slow connection, since I sometimes also have trouble with the chats. But I really experience this hard when I’m in Lion’s Arch and it’s the peak hours. This is the zone I often get stuck in the load screen. Then when I do get in,NPCs don’t load right away,NPC interfaces won’t show up,etc etc. This only started when the new patch came though.
Having the same problem here. I’ve been experiencing this for a few days now. It’s like my character’s stuck in eternal loading limbo. This happens very often to me when entering Lion’s Arch.
