Is Sharur's projectile effect intended?

As the title says, I want to know the projectile effect of the new legendary hammer ‘Sharur’ was intended.

when I use this hammer with projectile skill, it looks like sharur shoots small piece of itself. However, this effect is too small and it is barely noticeable.

From the file that I attached on it, my character (guardian) used hammer #3 skill and the red circle shows the effective change.

Compared to basic hammer #3 skill(no legendary equipped), It is really hard to see where the projectile goes.

If this change is intended, I will accept it. If it’s not, please change this effect at least noticeable.

I’m not sure this issue is just for me or other mac users or even window users.

As the post says, my entire mini map is blur like I’ve never discovered that area before even I already did it. Those 2 toons from the pictures have 100% map completion done

Does someone have an technical idea how to fix this thing?

My minimap is broken since April feature update and I’m looking for a solution seriously.

Since april feature pack update, my mac doesn’t load mini map info on the screen.

Even though my character was done 100% map completion, my mini map still shows itself like i’ve never discovered that area before. I hope devs find out this bug and fix this issue for me or someone who has the same issue. I will add 2 pictures for example. As I mentioned, those 2 characters did 100% map clear.

New Eternity day/night cycle bugged

it happens to me too. I thought I was looking wrong when the sword itself didn’t change when the day/night cycle changed. So, these are some pictures about this bug to help understanding my statement. The sword itself is twilight but… look at my ton’s body. It has daytime aura instead of dark one.

Game Updates: Guild World Events, Megaservers, WvW

The Megaserver System looks fine in paper, to help low populated areas and servers gain life. But…
In pratice it fails imo.

Guildwars 2 had a very Dynamic feel, with events leading up to each other, and this world boss sync just ruins that feel.

Aslo it destroys completelly our “sense of community”. It was nice to know 80% of the ppl in a map, see known faces and guilds. etc… now i feel a foreigner on every map i go wich is on megaserver.

i Did worldbosses form time to time cause it was easy to get to them, and fast fun/loot. Now is a headache.

Guildmissions are completelly RIDICULOUS to do. Half of guildies end up in diferent maps. takes 10 minutes just to change parties and taxi every1 to same server (IF the server don’t gets full bef we manage to do that). and after you are able to do that, you will just end up in a place with 10 other guilds lining up in queue trying to do missions as well. My guild waited for 35 minutes on guild jumping puzzle to be able to start it, is ridiculous and kills all the fun,

i undertsand you guys want to revamp low pop servers and for them this might “look” appealing, but isn’t there GUESTING in place for this exact reason – a low pop server can just guest another and have np.

In european servers is just ridiculous to get into a map and mapchat being in french, german, english, spanish, nordic languages, and every1 qqing they don’t understand each other, etc…

I am sorry Anet, but this world boss sync and megaservers only do ONE thing: BROKE WHAT AS WORKING JUST FINE..

Plzplzplz get rid of this idea…. give us our dynamic world back and no megaservers:D

On PvP it rly ain’t that bad as it eliminates the waiting for tPvP.

Gathering Orichalcum and ancient wood will be a disaster i guess and this will have a strong impact in the economy as this are items that have a very high demand always.

on a more happy note: Congrats to all the hard work and for an amazing feature pack. Apart form megaserver all the rest is awesome

1) Restore the old naming system, where gear used the name of the item used for looks. If I’m asking another player what his crazy staff is (say, The Crossing,) it’s just confusing for his chat link to say “Knight’s Pearl Staff” or something like that. It still previews correctly, but it’s confusing and not nearly as cool.

I would be so happy if they will fix this problem at least

Hey guys, plz don’t focus on only ascended armor chests, ascended weapon chests or fractal weapon skins. Do you guys satisfy with gold reward after clearing form? I couldn’t remember how much gold i get after lvl 49 because doing 49 doesn’t give me enough rewards than i put effort on it. lvl 38 gives me 1 gold and 30 silvers but it’s the same reward as other easy dungeons out there. Does this make even sense? Anet valued dungeon rewards based on its difficulty and time but how comes fotm gold reward is so small?

good to see there is no more arah path selling on lfg tool but I have no idea why Anet blocked that under path though. What if you are going all the way to the other side?

Since bloody everone here who seem to have problems about the kitten land speed of warriors have no idea what they are talking about. Heres a easy version for you chums.

I would assume u guys have problems with the full running warrior, in order to achieve this movement a war has to equip gs, swd/warhorn with bulls charge. In this setup a warior will have a hard time doing damage both with a group and solo, making it the easiest set up to fight. Sure he would run away at first signs of a loss but he would be of no danger to anyone even if the war is in full zerk. (If you have problems dueling this kind of warrior you do have to work on learning to fight better with your class.)

The seond most mobility set up is those with gs with any other weapon and bulls charge. This set up will have the warrior left with 2 utility slots. And if u see the war use bulls charge during the fight, only the gs will be left to escape (which I will get into later) even in this spec dd eles, thiefs and some mesmers are able to catch and kill this warrior.

That third most mobile warrior is those with only gs without bulls charge( the wepon set and utility I run the most) in this build most classes which pay attention to when the war draws out the greatsword and cc smartly would be able to catch and finish off the war.

Learn more before you go take a huge dump in the forum.

LOL, I really hoped someone didn’t come up with the highest HP with armor thing about warriors. Those are CHARACTERISTICS OF PROFESSIONS.

Anet, I will give you a great idea about this statement. Just delete all of professions and give only one which can use all of weapon types and 30/30/30/30/30 traits with the same utilities. So many ppl here who doesn’t accept the difference of professions are QQing about warriors on this forum. or.. just make this as “how can we nerf warriors? so we can get free kills as warriors were used to be ^^”

The distinction has already been made, there’s more than just “best mobility”, there’s also best landspeed. Warriors are the undisputed kings of [strike]GW2[/strike] landspeed. The question needs to be asked, has Landspeed been considered for balance?

This gameplay is outside the pale and warrior exclusive. It needs to be brought back in line with the rest of the game.

The warrior of first video use SL > WA > Rush to maximize mobility, to you to say that all warrior has that mobility, you need assume that all warrior run GS + Sword, what isn’t true

My Mesmer is a shatter, and i gave perma swiftness without focus. About mobility i do not have what QQ

Actually if you watch closely you need:
-traited manipulations, both range and CD.
-So a 1200 range blink to close gaps on a 24s cd
-Arcane thievery to steal swiftness off the warrior
-Focus to land cripple, and to pull for some cc, also as a source of swiftness for the mesmer
-High Boon duration from chaos and/or runes to maintain swiftness
-Sword 3 for imob, 80% condi duration to get a measly 3s
-Combo that with 5s burning from prestigue to add to the overall DPS, which, depending on how the warrior is built might not be enough regardless.

All this assumes that when the Warrior decides to flee, all your skills are off CD so you can fire all the combo’s it takes to do it. There’s zero room for error, and while the skill is out there, a warrior with a GS to go with his sword makes the whole enterprise ridiculous. Pretty much you have to be tweaked to counter, and even then you have to get lucky, and the warrior unlucky.

Also, if you note the vid in the original post, the warrior isnt even using swiftness at the time. Had he been, he’d of created even more distance. Of course not all warriors run full mobility, but when they do their Landspeed is broken.

Of course, you should also know that a warrior doesn’t need to run full mobility. He can sustain in a fight indefinitely until his opponent makes a mistake all the same, or against those who’re not utterly tricked out to counter, leave the fight with minimal mobility.

You don’t seem to have a warrior do you?
How can warrior fight against his opponent with sword/XX + GS?
If you have a trouble to deal with GS warrior, that’s your problem
If you have a trouble to deal with sword warrior, that’s your problem
HB and sword burst skill are channeling skills which are very hard to land without CC
GS is not an ideal weapon in wvw unless you take a mace on your main hand
sword/XX (maybe warhorn) + GS is completely for mobility set

p.s.: I was watching the video again to make sure about this. Why did you just let the warrior escape? I would admit the truth if the warrior could escape with cripple or CC

When Eternity will be done?

I crafted Eternity 2 months ago because I loved its new footprints that Arenanet added on. From somewhere this forum, I saw dev’s response which they will complete Eternity but still no information from them.
now, I’m concerned Arenanet forgets about this issue and would like to know what they are planning for it. Can we see a complete Eternity in 2014? or does Eternity remain uncompleted legendary weapon? I won’t say what Eternity is missing cuz many of you guys already know and it’s been told so many times.

ps. Here’s is a suggestion for Eternity to being a perfect legendary weapon. Unlike Sunrise and Twilight, Eternity has its own unique footprints but shares the same blade image from those legendary weapons and I love so much of Eternity’s footprints. Can we have Eternity’s footprints as its blade image instead of sharing the same images of Sunrise and Twilight?

Most of unpopular legendaries got updated in setemper when the second SAB came out. You know what? ArenaNet didn’t even say any comment about the predator while others got mentioned. The predator got thrown away completely lol

Because ascended materials kicked in. I can understand about daily changed because it gives essence of luck but have no idea why they removed karma from clearing dungeons. Stop giving us freaking useless ascended raw materials from dungeons Anet!

Before Ascended weapon materials came with, each dungeon path gave us around 1800 karma and 2~3 small bottles of karma. But after september update, all of karma which you can get from dungeon was gone even small karma bottle that you get from ‘bag of something’ in every dungeon in gw2. Now, there is not many options for us to farm karma to buy or make something from karma merchants. Fotm is still giving us some amount of karma which is fair enough but we have no idea when Arenanet would get rid of it from fotm. Completing daily gave 4500 karma before the update and now it gives just 600 karma which doesn’t make any sense. Doing dungeon is also part of game but why can’t we get karma from it?

I don’t think precursors should be craftable. But, if they do, it better take some 500 Laurels, 250 commendations, 250 Pristine relics, time gated, require months to craft, be account bound, require you have x amount AP’s and have specific titles. GW2 is moving from R to PG-13 to soon to be G. (metaphor)

List of useless or underused or too situational traits for Warrior:

Revamping these traits could add more variety to the warrior and make other builds viable. I hope you give this a good read!

Strength:
Berserker’s Might. (Replace: Too situational, would be a better adept trait.)

Arms:
Furious. (Still bugged, should not be a Grandmaster.. should be a minor.)

Defense:
Spiked Armor. (Its worse then most minor traits, useless in PvE. Probably needs protection, however I don’t want to give Warriors too much.)

Discipline:
Warrior’s Sprint. (Needs to be just 25% all the time.)

I support these changes, especially Berserker’s might. It incresed 2%, 7%, 12% more damage per adrenalin level and adept trait before the update(can’t remember when it was)
Now, ArenaNet made it like 5%, 10%, 15% more damage depending on adrenalin level and moved it to grandmaster trait which didn’t make any sense at least for me. If they managed it to move to grandmaster, they should give more additional damage

It’s possible to get 100% crit chance and get all your hits to deal 150% dmg + critdmg multiplier.
I.E. my Warrior has 100% crit chance and 240% total crit dmg which means I always deal 2.4 times my normal damage.
There is no internal cooldown on critical hits themselves or their damage.

If you don’t mind me asking or at least showing how….would you explain what gear and traits you used to get to that amount?

Is that with food/oil as well?

fully berserker geared with 30 points on ARMS trait line and.. drop banner of discipline. Don’t forget that signet of precision also gives you additional crit chance.
Only once, when I was doing TA, my crit went 100% with full zerker gears and banner of discipline. My trait was 30/25/0/0/15

Most time, I see the orangish blade of sunrise when it’s on my back
When I do dungeons or do some events in gw2, there is no way for me or someone who uses sunrise to see other colors of sunrise.
Like I attached some pictures for example, that’s what i’m seeing the blade of sunrise.

Clouds? no
Blue sky? no
Sun? no

Just orange blade. nothing is on the blade from my camera location.
To see its blue blade with something, I have to move down my camera like the second picture as an example.
I think that’s the reason why Twilight is more popular than sunrise because of the difference of blade color from common camera location. Twilight always shows its space and red or blue things on its blade with stars no matter where your camera is located. But Sunrise always shows its orange blade with nothing and i have to move my camera somewhere to see its unique effects which is very disappointing.

Please revamp its color design

P.S. I should say this clearly, all I want to see is blue blade with clouds at my common or normal camera view. Currently, there is nothing but orange blade from my view point.
It would be very nice if Arenanet changes the color design or color rotation of sunrise, so I can see its blue blade from my view.
