The megaservers looked bad from the minute they announced it and they are just bad. Being stuck on wayfarer’s during svanir with one other person, not being able to play with guildies or server mates. It ruins communities and the priority system is completely non excistant. Half of the time I’m stuck in megaservers where they only speak German.
Thats the same thing happening with me
Its annoying when your put on a server where everyone else speaks a different language.
The megaservers so far are a disater and have made the game worse

Doesn’t each server have the same limit for each map? I have a feeling it’s 100 players from each server per map, but I could be wrong. To put it another way: if your server has a queue for the map you’re playing in, then Gandara doesn’t outnumber you.
Edit: We do however have unmatched early-morning (midnight – 3am) coverage, due to people being displaced from late evenings by Anet’s hellish queues
Yeah but GH has queues for maybe 2 hours a day on bl maps rest of the time we are lucky to have more than 30 on a bl map

I feel as though Ranger pets are overpowered, their skills always hit me, and when I kill the pet the Ranger just send another after me LEAVE ME ALONE.
I feel as though pets should be made to be more inconsequential in WvW.
No they are not overpowered they work just fine and are a major part of the class and when your fighting a ranger try killing the ranger instead of the pet cause when the ranger dies so does the pet
How can I when the pet is constantly harassing me, fearing me, pouncing on me, spraying toxic poison gas clouds, etc?!
If the pets really cause you that much trouble then you should probably run everytime you see a ranger, i have had no issues killing rangers solo in WvW

The idea of how it would work is an orb would be worth a set amount of points per tick, like a tower or keep, and it would be a lot, at least 25 points or more. But an Orb would not appear on any map until the population of all three teams in the match filled at least 75% of their player slots on that map.
what about servers that dont get queues but still suffer from opponents outnumbering them?
Just do something for the jumping puzzles,borderlands one,i hate when someone arrives and kill you without reason.
They do have a reason to kill you, you are there enemy and if you dont like pvp then you shouldn’t be looting chests with PVP siege in them.
Either change servers or wait for your server to change position are your only 2 options
I solo’d it 2 days ago on my ranger.
I would like to point out the most immediate issue about this
NA has 24 servers
EU has 27 servers
so untill they remove 3 EU servers or add 3 NA servers this whole disscussion is pointless.

I agree that it is dull and boring. But i still wouldn’t want it removed as it means a different kind of risk when you enter it.
It’s been like one month and Seaferer’s Rest has been either red or green but never blue. I need just 1% of a WvW map to have map completion and we’re never blue. This is getting a little frustrating…
The reason for this is the ranking system.
The no1 server in every tier is green the no2 server in every tier is blue and the no3 server in every tier is red
SFR has been t2 for about 4or5 weeks and were to strong a server for T2 (as they are really a T1 server and were in T2 by choice)and as such couldn’t be displaced from the no1 slot.

I do not see why there is nothing implemented where your groups recieves your boons/heals rather the nearest people to you. Why even have a group if you can help them with your boons/heals at all? Prioitization is a must if anet wants this game to evolve into a more skill/organization based game rather then this mindless ZergvZerg.
Boon Heal Priority:
Group>Guildmate>Random player>Pets/clones>NPCIs this really something Anet completly ignored? Or am i missing something here?
Anet wants zerg v zerg not skill based players.
But i agree that your group should be prioritised when in range

I was specifically talking about Planetside 2. They just put server merges through because they understand that other players is their content.
Planetside 2 is FPS and as such is uncompareable to GW2 a RPG.
As for your server merge well all NA servers are at least high pop so you have no chance of a merge when 8 EU servers are perma med pop still
Also remember that because of the W3 system you have to merge servers in 3s aswell

imo the orange swords before was to low and needed to be higher but 25 is too high it should of been raised only to about 10. As it is now sending a scout to every flagged location is tedious and boring for the scout not to mention pretty pointless anyways as by time they get there it will already be to late and even if it is not 1 vs 20 is a lost fight and by time they have called for reinforcements and they get there it will be to late.
What they should of done was added a warning system for claimed keeps/towers/camps for the guild that claimed them before changing the orange swords, just a red text msg every 5mins from the structure was 1st tagged saying YOUR STRUCTHURE IS UNDER ATTACK would of ment that you would at least had a chance to check it out before it was too late.
I would happily upgrade keeps and towers before but i wont be doing it any more as it would just be a waste of gold.
I would suggest a server change then to find yourself some fights there are loads both NA and EU were fighting is in great supply
Updated and cleaned up some information on Jumping Puzzles. Thank you for the advice and edit. I look forward to the new maps that will make this guide partially obsolete. Should probably have left room for updates. When I figure out how a solo can play in the new maps, I will provide a link here.
3) The quaggans in the water and dredges/hyleks/ogres are great targets for a solo.

That looks like a friendly guard from the keep that has been pulled to the sentry, check its lvl82 and sentrys r lvl 80
I think the speed debuff is a great idea. If too many people are in the same area, they all get dubuffed to a walk, which would be like marching in close order. In theroy it does sound good but it would ruin any GvG battles that guilds do atm unless it didnt kick in till was at least 30+ on a side or had a very small radius to effect ppl in which would make it pointless in most cases if you were 5 v 30
The only solution i see rigth now is to make the first five or six encounters to last 1 or 2 days instead a week.
This would not be a solution as diff servers have diff numbers on diff days of week, some have more ppl fri-sun and less ppl mon-fri others have roughly the same everyday
don’t think they can really do this as now those tiers would have a high PPT between them which would inflate scores a mess with the ranking system.
Now maybe they could put in a overflow map of some kind that has no PPT value, just be there for people to have fun while they are in Que for the real maps
Yes, would be ideal to have just another map like overflow were the only thing to do is kill ppl while you wait in queue and not worry about points
Remove white swords, and increase orange swords to 10+ players only.
This will encourage more tactful gameplay with the use of scouts etc a lot more.
Also remove waypoints.
I would also like this to happen, but lets be honest Anet have already made there intentions clear in that they want WvWvW to be zerg orientated
Seafarers Rest it is also bugged, have filled ingame bug report aswell
