Please Gods of Guild Wars show mercy.
Nobody deserves a faith like this – 10 games losing streak.
sPVP is awarding me with nothing but pain, hate and anger, but my addiction is so deep that I can`t ignore it.
Please Gods of Guild Wars show mercy.
Ban my account from sPVP
or
Place the dishonor buff on all my characters so that I won`t be able to hit the join Arena button.
Send me back to PVE.
Send me back to the sweet illusion that I`m enjoying a nice game.

100 is a safe bet
Poor marketing ANET.
I must admit it that there is no adrenaline rush in the SPVP. Well I felt it once when we won with a guild lord kill on Foefire with 503 to 498, but that`s 1 game in 500/600 for me.
The only reason someone might play SPVP is the rank finisher. As soon as I get it I`ll stop with the PVP.
I`m playing solo and it is growing pain ……
even if you spend decent time in SPVP
even if you are well(meta) geared
even if you are well(meta) skilled
even if you don`t mind toxic language
We are focusing the so-called balance in the game.
To me the problem was always the narrow player base.
As far as a can remember GW1 had the random arena where people were matched against 4 other players. There was no “matchmaking problem” back then. Well there was a problem:
1) you have a monk, your team wins – here we don`t have a dedicated monk, here we don`t play in one single group, so such a problem should not exist
2) premades – change your district to Japan or Korea, hit the JOIN buton and you are teamed with your friends that were in the same district.
Leave solo Q and try to drag more players into PVP.
You don`t need to work on a matchmaking engine.
This topic makes me cry.
I open metabattle, click on the meta tab and run shoutheal warrior.
Skills, traits, sigils and everything.
I get owned.

Relog, run turret engi
It seems that I have a plan for the night.
I always join unranked arenas.
I always stay at 50%+10 or 20 wins.
I always go for 10 000 PVP EXP for the night. 2 nights = lvl up
When I`m done with the planned games, I`m done for the night.
I can handle “funny” builds.
I can handle “funny” players.
I know that I`m not the best at the arena, but I try hard to be something.
In which report segment is AFK /PVP EXP leeching/ meant to be reported?
And…. why is the bad matchup topic closed. Every single day I get a lot of screenshots, that fit into this topic.
Map vote is ok and I don`t mind if a random person wins it.
It seems that people like Foefire, The Forest and The Temple.
Those are nice maps with easy to understand bonus effects.
I`m not sure why people don`t like Courtyard, Spiritwatch and Skyhammer.
Maybe it`s because people can`t understand the concept of “stick together”, “+3 is better than +30” and “BFG beats every class”.
From what I gather in the LoL wiki, the league system is basically a block of players within a certain [match-making] rating range.
According to the GW2 wiki, GW2 does this implicitly during matching, but likely due to a lower playerbase at any given time, it doesn’t create such rigid tiers.

Follow me on this:
I`m a lame turret engi.
I join unranked arena with 5 vs 5 solo players.
The preparation for the game starts. We have 1 minute.
During that time I check my regional and language settings because I want to add a language to the keyboard. I mess the things bad and I delete the whole keyboard list. I press with the mouse the icon of the game and try to move …… nothing happens. I can only activate skills with mouse.
The game starts. Kyhlo map. I can`t move.
My team is doing great and is equal to the enemy team.
I know that I should help.
Press 5. Jump a few meters. Wait for the CD.
The goal was to reach the close cap and load the turrets.
5jump 5jump 5jump
We lost 400 – 500.
QQ
pistol pistol thiefs right?
I have a few questions and I hope to get proper answers:
1. How do you check if you are facing a team or not? I join only unranked arena.
2. Is the captain of the team, the one with the highest PVP rank?
3. Is the Courtyard map the only place where you may lose and not receive any PVP EXP points?
I also want to share something with you. Probably most of you are aware of it.
I leave the office at 5 /17:00 UTC+2/, I turn my PC at 6, and I start to PVP at 6:30.
Yesterday I won 4 out of 4 games with a friend.
The day before that I won 6 out of 6 with the same friend.
I don`t want to jump to conclusions, but I think that:
at this time almost no teams play, because I consider myself as a casual player
at this time a 2 man team can make a huge difference at the arena
I`ll observe this for a week.
As to my last question. I`m sure that at Courtyard you may leave a game without any EXP points. Happened once or twice. Yesterday I felt great when I died at their gate when we were winning 300 to 0. We won 500 do 25 and I hope that they got 500 PVP EXP. Please tell me if there is such a thing on other arenas too, so that I should pay attention.
Chukree you achieved something in the game, and my question is: how are you going to use it?
Option 1: Someone says Chukree you are wrong, we failed because of you, and your response is: I`m right, I`m more experienced than you and if you want proof for it, check my title. I`m on top of the food chain.
In this case the title will be your joker.
Option 2: Someone says Chukree you are wrong, we failed because of you, and your response is: F… it, I`ll join another game.
In this case you are more hip and cool than the raging sucker.
Which team do you want to join and do you really need that title?
Reaching this milestone awards you with Thai-girl-minipet
I would like to join this topic by saying this.
In Guild Wars 1 I`m sure that if we split PvE and PvP by the amount of users involved it would look like 80 to 20.
Guild Wars 1 was a great game because till it`s release no one knew about that and the designers made a game to suit both PvE and PvP. That`s why the core Guild Wars 1 was in some way balanced – melee, anti-melee /necro/, caster, anti-caster /mesmer/.
When they started working on Guild Wars 2 the designers had the upper information, and they asked themselves the question. Who is paying for the game? PvE is paying for the game. For the weapon and armour skins, for the quagan backpacks, for the griffin mail carriers.
That`s why Guild Wars 2 is 95 PvE and 5 PvP.
I`m sure that there is a way to suit those 5%.
I hope that there is a way.
If you go for kills or for point capture ONLY you will most likely lose the game that you are playing. You should read what`s going on and act in the best possible way. The personal points that are awarded in every game will lead to +5 PVP EXP, and your goal is 1500 PVP EXP, right?
I would love to see new maps in the map rotation.
Have you played the Asura fractal with the heptagon squares that drop. Imagine a map like this which is “Most kills win”. They have the design, they should add some modifications on the heptagons that drop, and the players that can make a heptagon drop.
I would like to share a few things as I play engi.
Engi`s are great against warriors, thiefs and rangers.
Engi`s are poor against guardians, necros and mesmers.
The engi`s are OP when you play unranked and you have 5 random people against you, cos they will fail to strike at you with 2/3 characters when you camp.
The engi`s aren`t OP when you face a premade and 2/3 characters stomp at you.
Anet should focus on dragging more players into PVP with rewards, so that the matchmaking system will be able to design teams in a better way.
Hi guys,
I have a few questions regarding the matchmaking system.
From lvl 1 to 25 at Unranked arena I was like 50 50.
From lvl 25 and above I`m on a constant losing streak – till now I think that I reached 20 games losing streak.
What happens at lvl 25?
Is it still Unranked arena or is it Team arena?
