I just got a msg to say I’ve lost GWAMM and I didn’t have it…
For about 3-4 days (please don’t ask for exact, I have a life) I’ve been unable to right click Barrage and ground target. Nothing happens. The skill doesn’t highlight or respond in any way. On the off chance that I’d accidentally changed something I went back to the defaults in General Options, but no luck. It doesn’t matter whether I have a mob targeted or not. I just can’t get a ground target area to show and if I left click the skill defaults to an area with me at the centre. Nothing comes up on forum search, nor does GW2wiki mention any stupid things I might have inadvertantly done. I suspect Taimi of course, but if anyone can help me I’d be grateful.
This issue is heart-breaking, given how hard it is to get to the jump and then fall correctly so as to get to the pool. Have you attempted the jump using other characters on your account? I did the jump x5 on my human ranger fulfilling all the criteria, changed to my human mesmer, because I’d heard of bugged characters, completed the jump x2 with zip result, and was going to rage quit for the night, but gave it one more go, this time on my asura thief, and was completely shocked when that character pinged the dive on first try.
I can assure you that I did the jump correctly that 7 times which nearly drove me crazy. There were enough failures, which is why it really stings when you do it right but get no reward. All I can suggest is that, if you’ve not already done it, try with other characters on your account. It worked for me, and has worked for other players on some bugs.
All fixed now! Thankyou to the GMs who threw ideas around until one of them stuck, and to Gaile and Ester, for being accessible in-game.

The game still doesn’t want my money either…same issue with the credit card detail entry. Card is valid, functional today, and I used it to purchase gems in the third week in Feb with no issues.

I’m in Sydney, Australia. I’ve been having Error 4:1022:8061:393 on my laptop (wireless modem) for the last 6-7 hours, since I came home this afternoon and tried to login. I am unable to login either to the game or the GW2 forum via my laptop, but can login to both on my PC (adsl modem), which would be great, if sitting up for long periods didn’t cause pain. There was no sms check to login on either PC or laptop.
It’s April Fools Day and part of GW tradition. Some people seriously need to loosen up. Those people who say they’re offended because it reminds them of recent regrettable events, we run around all day killing everything from fluffy bunnies to other players in a multitude of ways. Every day in the real world people die by the thousands in manifold horrible ways. Perhaps we should ban all RMOs because they remind us of mankind’s savagery, stupidity and selfishness. It’s a game. Try and distinguish between that and reality, you might have some fun.
Haven’t done any stats ~ due to guild events tonight, but also noticing substantial increase in burn damage on my character. I sustained 4 full deaths to crabs before Megadestroyer even started, at L80 in full Ascended.Though I rallied off one destroyer crab, burn killed me before I could cast Healing Spring. These were just common destroyer crabs…
There’s a green-gold beam of light surrounded by what looks like encircling thorns or branches just to the north north-east of the Seachange Tidepools POI on Winterknell Isle in Cursed Shores. GW2 wiki itself doesn’t have a page on Seachange Tidepools, I haven’t done the L80 event, “Defeat the Risen Drake Broodmother” myself, and if it plays a part in this, it hasn’t been recorded as far as I can find. Can anyone tell me what it signifies?
Yes! Found. Mini’s in GW stayed in your invent, even after dedication in your HoM, and banking was something you did manually, so I clean didn’t think about her vanishing with the carrots, >.<
Oh. You’re right. I may have, I was farming sporadically, and minis do bank. I’ll check that out. I guess if that’s so, then they need to be carried in the invisible bag if you want to take them with you. Only mini I’ve bought, so I didn’t think of this.
Since the previous patch (2 patches ago, not counting the server maint), I’ve had no influence earned showing at the top of my guild page. Drinks for thecity-type purchases are noted in the guild log, but I’m unable to tell whether influence earned in boss fights(min 6/day) or events is being earned, or earned but not displayed. This persists in spite of changing characters to do events, repping another guild and then swapping back, and in fact relocated to a different server and repeating the whole process of changing guilds, characters, and doing several events on each character. I’d settle for getting the mini white kitten back, but this is a bug also, whether at the personal display level, or in fact at the level of awarding influence to guild, is anybody’s guess.
I bought the mini-white kitten this afternoon, in a very sentimental moment, because my cat died a few years ago, and I really miss her. I hopped from LA to Queensdale, to wait for Behemoth, had the mini out, whacked a few ettin, then the Champion Oakheart, after which I noticed the kitten wasn’t out, so I went to the inventory to display her, and to my great dismay, she wasn’t there.
Please spare me any comments about collapsed bags, banking her, harvesting her (!), or throwing her out accidentally.
She’s gone.
My TP list confirms that I bought the mini. Can someone fix this bug please. This is the first non-utilitarian thing I’ve ever bought, and yes, I’m really upset about it. May be the last thing I buy ever, too.
Also randomly not jumping at edges. I’m relieved it’s not just me, and hope it’s fixed soon. It’s affecting jump puzzle progress and general play.
I had this happen with the Penzan pirates only, and I’m pretty sure I tried every position possible before I gave up and completed the heart using other tasks. I mostly play using wireless modem, in Australia, and often experience relative lag compared to ADSL on my PC. I’ve had failure to complete tasks in other games because of failure of signal to reach host server in a given time interval, and I wonder if this is a factor.
Yes, I’m having this problem too. I target a mob, start firing, but the target changes quite arbitrarily, while the mob I’ve selected is still well and truly alive and bouncing. There appears to be no pattern as to which mob becomes the target. It started within the last week, no more. It can be incredibly frustrating trying to to find the original target in a big event, and I’m losing kills and drops because I can’t stay on a target. If someone calls target, my character responds appropriately, but targets still become deselected randomly thereafter. It’s frustrating and depressing. If I’m in a group, frankly, I’d just like to cry. It’s worse than useless when you pull something other than the original selected boss down on your party.
