Anyone know how the LFG system works or what the timer is on this message? I seem to be getting this message a lot today and I have not been jumping parties or anything. I think it’s broken.

I think it’s important to state where the game is at the moment, it’s been out for little over a month, it’s the bare bones of a world that is going to get bigger and better.

Suggestions? gear up now for probable new higher end content.

I agree. I don’t like the DR system and the current Orr setup for end game zones so I don’t do them much at all. Instead I’m gearing my 80 via dungeon runs and I’m leveling an engineer. I believe something better will come with time, so I’m finding other ways to have fun until then.

I would bet money on this fact: If gw2 had raids and progression like WoW, then people would post on the forums that gw2 is a wow clone. They would then ask why they should play gw2 when they can do the same thing in WoW.

I’m leveling an Engineer and haven’t noticed any bugs, but only level 35 or so. I find it fun and not really under-powered. Balanced fairly well at least for PvE.

I enjoy them, especially when I don’t encounter any bugs I would agree with you on the point of some bosses having too much health and/or armor and taking forever to kill.

Other than that (and a bug here and there), dungeons are fun.

Yes the amount of tokens you get is bugged for some people, me included. I’m not running anymore until they fix it. It’s been this way since they implemented the bugged diminishing returns bull.

Oh and don’t run Citadel of Flame. It bugged out on us today in 2 different places and we could not finish the runs.

I have enjoyed this game immensely up until anet started “limiting” drops and even the amount of experience/karma/copper you get from DEs..

I am losing interest in not only this game but from any future anet products, getting on my “funcom” list of failed devs is hard but getting off of it is impossible..

I would like to point out that i have never once used any exploits yet im being treated like a botter or even worse a cheater, i hope anet wins the battle against bots because they are losing the war to keep loyal fans in the process..
They promise fun but deliver a criminal sentence of limited service and its just cheezy..

Hate to say it, but WoW’s camera was perfect, there was no reason to not make an exact copy of that.

Yeah, it was pretty good. Very solid and responsive. Big zoom-out too.

I agree and I’m glad they are looking into it. If they could give an option for the camera to be as responsive as WoW, that would be great. I’m not sure if smoothing is what makes it feel sluggish.

I totally agree with OP. If they would just fix the rotation speed and responsiveness, then I’d be happy. Even though it’s probably not the optimum way to play, I still find myself using the the keyboard for turning (yeah I know). Hate to compare GW with games like WoW and Rift, but in the department of camera rotation GW got it wrong and it just feels delayed and unresponsive.

Indeed there is plenty of maps for every level range. So go some other places besides just where you personal story is taking you.

Well I leveled all the way to 80 doing only hearts and dynamic events. All I did was move around to different maps and I completed all the objectives 100% (vistas, waypoints and points of interes). I didn’t do my personal story or any PvP stuff. Oh I did a lot of gathering along they too and a bit of crafting but not a lot.

End game is there and incredibly well done. Just because end-game is not based on raid progression doesn’t mean there is not end game.

You can play together if you are on different servers. You all have to get into the overflow and then choose to stay in overflow.

I use mostly a Short Bow and switch to Long Bow and back and forth. I put max trait points into Beast master. I use mostly a wolf and bear for pets.

Well dual wielding pistols seems to be pretty good but I haven’t played a Thief yet. For PvE and suvivability, the ranger is really good

When you are higher level than the zone’s level range, then your character level is brought down to match the zone.

There is a lot of different and good looking gear in the game. Each dungeon also has a gear vendor in Lion’s Arch. You earn dungeon tokens and trade for high end good looking gear. And you can craft some really good gear also, so collect every kind of harvesting material you come across.

Actually the amour designs in this game are the best I’ve seen in any game. Play a little longer and you’ll start seeing them.

Trying to sell gold in a buy-to-play game where the gaming company itself essentially sells currency, it’s not a profitable opportunity.

Each time one of these accounts gets banned it’s a cost of about 60 bucks which would become unprofitable pretty fast for the gold selling companies. So more than likely the spam is coming from hacked accounts.

Once Anet gets the hacking under control, the spamming should go away.

Now there’s a good idea. I’d say once you have completed a zone, you should be able to buy a free travel token for that zone only. The karma cost should be around 1500 or so.

Totally disagree. If everyone plays their class well using double taps to dodge/evade attacks, then the run goes well without a bunch of deaths.

Same thing happens to most. Go to one of the other starting areas to catch up. In your hero screen, click the pvp tab and Go To heart of the mists. You can get to the other areas from there through portals.

Oh and be sure you complete each area 100% before moving on. And gather all crafting materials as it give a lot of exp.

Each zone in the game is like a detailed work of art unlike I’ve seen in any other game. I have great respect for the level of hard work and commitment that went into making this game.

So thanks for such a great game. And please do not listen to the vocal minority and start ruining the game by nerfing classes and difficulty. The game, in my opinion, is perfect in these respects.

When underwater, the Sigil stacks will not increase. Just an FYI

There’s an item I bought on Trading Post called Sigil of Luck that you can apply to your weapon. It provides +4% to magic find and stacks up to 25 times. See if that helps.
