do yourself a favor and stop the spvp it’s not even worth your time as it is right now.

it’s not a teaser they need to do at this point but completely change this awful pvp mode. the maps are awful you can’t do a jump without hitting a wall or a structure, the objectives are just stupid bunker mode = epic and vowed to fail
the facts are a complete decrease of the spvp population since release. If they keep going this way with that pvp mode, again 1 or 2 months and it’s completely dead.

don’t get high hopes for this patch, it will be mainly a one time world event similar to the halloween event, otherwise said a pve event. probably 2-3 minor class fixes along the way but don’t expect too much.

ranger long bow , full berserker and you can insta kill ppl from 1500, ele is not friendly beginner at all, mesmer stinks when it comes to chase your ennemy, warrior is just not a solo class, guardian same thing than warrior, thief most oped class in this game but so so so boring to play after a day or two, necro lol why does this class even exist yet ? only good at sticking a zerg and feeling pretty useless, engineer can insta kill thing with grenade barrage and big oil bomb sync but then you are pretty much dead cuz this class has no dodge skills at all

when I see that it reminds how such a joke this game is/ the guy who is in charge of development in wvw has no experience at all

don’t you get that your spvp game is dieing ? it has been 2 months now and your game is far from what gw1 has been at the release, no spvp content at all, a poor pvp content offered to us with only (allow me to call it this bunker mode stupid and pointless btw) 1 MODE. Yet you keep focusing on minor things like halloween events, and I heard the Major update on 15th november is no better than pve content and some minor fixes again.

In 2 months, you only released paid tournament (a trainee would have done it in a day), just admit it, we have given false promises since day 1. Anet is just acting like Blizzard, all they do is making money on idiots by releasing special gem event content.

I was looking for a great spec for wvw whose purpose would be to a solo/duo run fielder seeking 1v1, 1v2 and maybe 1v3 if really well played….

looking for a spec along with the gear/runes/sigils

that being said, a viable spec always includes a permanent speed, 2 escapes, possibility to chase down your opponent if he is dodging and ofc a great burst.

thieves are the most overpowered and brainless class : burst ? no it is not because a burst means you are doing better dmg for a period a time. the thieves CONSTANTLY punch you between 5k-15k (if not more) no matter how much toughness you have (took a 11k with 2300 toughness with backstab on my guardian supposed to have the best dmg mitigation of the game Let’s not forged their auto-attack which is totally oped compared to others.
So to sum up: Insane DMG/Insane Survability (why would you need hp when you can dodge as you want between the teleport skills and the stealth skill heh?)
For those who claim thieves are not broken, they have no clue abou what they are talking about.

gg to the guy who is handling the economy part in gw2, you have made a game where the credit card is the only option .

It’s really boring to do 3 meters and getting assjamed by 100 guys camping your portal keep or the bridge 10 meters away, somethings needs to be done.

so basically you are telling me to do some pve in wvw to repair my armor ? I don’t really want to kill npc to cover my armor repair and I do thing alot of ppl think the same way. it’s just an utter joke that you can’t get enough silver by killing players to repair your armor each run.

There are several solutions to fix that :

1) seriously are you playing your game ? because the fact you have to loot bags in the middle of fight is a joke. (and don’t tell me to spam F, it’s not intended to work that way.)

2) give enough money when you kill a player or just remove the repair cost in WvW WHICH WOULD MAKE SENSE.

So What happens when you decide to be a solo runner and enjoy killing your opponents ONLY by your own ?

You find yourself at one point where you just can’t repair your armor because you don’t have enough MONEY.

So, from there you have two options follow a zerg and cap or log out.

As far as I’m concerned, I just logged out.

stopped this game because of the downed state, worst thing I’ve ever seen implemented in a game. Another game where we favour the zerg, aiming for the esport scene while favouring the zerg , it doesn’t match together Arena Net, get good.

yes sir, you are not the only one disappointed by the LACK of pvp mode. I mean we are playing guild wars, really ? Because it’s 2012 and we still get the same thing from mmo (no offense taken there tho) which is you gotta cap points in order to win. If Jonathan Sharp is around, I hope he will enlight us with the poor objectives of pvp modes which are embedded to gw2 currently.

I mean where are you thrilling in that ? I remember when I was playing gw1 or even daoc I had to be so focused on the game where one mistake could kill me instantly. Well atm, on gw2 I don’t feel that at all. You want to know why ? Each class got a ton of stupid invulnerability skills, most of the players are building bunker builds on tpvp in order to win (they don’t even care about the kills in fact, are we sure we are playing some pvp there ? it seems to me we are playing a BvB bunker vs bunker with some poor biased off strategy)
So, yes when I’m in pvp I’m telling myself, I can do some mistakes who cares I got a ton of skills to carry me because I’m bad : >

this game has a great potential but atm from an objective pvp viewer, it’s really bad
time will tell (let’s hope it won’t take long because modern players aren’t as patient as you think)

In the meantime WvW queues are always full, you just can not join this mode and The poverty of spvp currently is beyond any words

I was really amazed by GW1 straigthly from the beginning but it’s not the case with GW2 at all. The competitive pvp has been so much forgot : o
Capturing points and killing mobs really ? It’s 2012 we are already past this kitten coming from wow.
I feel like the pvp content wasn’t ready at all when they released this game and they were in a hurry.
At this moment, this game is purely pve, you can not talk about pvp one second.
