I actually think it’s great if SoR & JQ 2v1’s Blackgate and I hope it happens more often
It’ll be interesting to see what happens to SoR when JQ isn’t there. I know JQ still remembers what happened when they didn’t have SoR in their match-up last week…
Nothing new under the sun. Just to take the guessing part out, I wish you were here over the last matchups when the 2v1 was official against SoR because we actually asked for it.

Yes we generally just don’t like BG. We will 2v1 them every chance we get

It has absolutely nothing to do with being ‘embarrassed’. It has everything to do with we like fighting in situations where we need the situational awareness. GvG is sort of a waste of time, because all it does is gauge e-peeeen, and luck, and really not much of the ‘skill’ aspect as to wtf to do when you have one zerg to your right, and another to your left. What do you do? Where do you go? Where should the CC’s be placed?? (type of thing) It just doesn’t offer that adrenaline rush that we crave.
As far as our ‘huge zerg’ is concerned, from our PoV you guys look like a massive zerg too. We enjoy running with our guild group, and cannot help it if militia tend to gravitate towards our commander – We just appreciate that they actually listen to our commander on TS and do exactly what we ask them to do and when. Having a competent militia following is most welcome, and I’m sure you would agree. Being the new kids on the block, it also gives us a chance to get to know the other guilds and people that we will be working with, as well as getting to know who has the good scouting calls, etc. Last night – we had roughly only 20-30 BT following our commander.

I agree with this poster in that. GvG is kinda boring. Sorta like dueling. Our guild has never gotten into that. We don’t really like to zerg, we enjoy small scale fights and tactics. sometimes randoms join and we ended up running 15-20. Just the nature of the “pin”. (Sometimes you have to zerg and not saying we NEVER zerg). Sometimes we run from big groups and sometimes we are like “nope – not running” and we go out swinging. Just the nature of the game. Nobody in our guild minds dying on the battle field. Rez up and go again. Yes we turn into bags. Often I might add. We also get far more bags then we give up.
I will say. If you constantly run 30-40+ people. You never develop any sort of small scale skill. You are used to just bull rushing people and killing them as they run as a result you end up less skilled as a whole. (Not pointing fingers at any one guild)
I noticed last night, that certain guilds expected JQ folks to run, when they stood the ground. The guilds from the other server got wiped time and time again. Was really embarrassing for them. In-spite of constantly having superior numbers.
Great fights tonight! Both in the GvGs and fights afterwards with JQ and BG in our Hills. Was tons of fun.
Had a blast playing vs you guys pro, was a shame I didn’t get to play on my thief though.
I guess my guardian needs love every now and then too.
As for SG, you guys can continue to act relevant when all you really did was add to the bag counts for both sides and end up losing your garrison for it. But hey, you guys don’t care about the hard work some people on your server did upgrading the place and walking all those yaks. I’m sure you guys will be more than willing to help your server rebuild that garrison. l0l
uh…we defended it for about 6 hours straight. pretty sure you guys took garrison after everybody logged off… I know we had it when I logged an hour after that scary 15 min post.
But your post did make me feel guilty. oh wait…
LOL, [SG] you act like you didn’t die over and over to us (while we were GvG-ing another guild I might add). At worst you were a minor annoyance, not even worth much thought. Give us a call for a GvG when you get relevant in WvW

I’d like to thank [Pro] for the great GvG today, those are the types of fights that I love playing GW2 for. Tip of the hat to you guys.
Oh we did die to you guys as does everybody die to everybody else. However the difference is we had 8, you had what 3 full groups?
You guys are horrible players balanced by a metric ton of warm bodies. You say it was a minor annoyance yet you came to the forums to cry. We literally laughed when we found you guys GvG’n and said “He lets make them whine on the forums” 10 min laters. Whines on the forums. Was the single best thing all nights. We even said we would trade all of our points for that one whine post.
Were a hit and run guild. So talking in TS holding hands and kitten stroking each other on the forums is not really our thing, while we set up a duel is not really our thing. We will see you on the battlefield. That’s where it will all be sorted out.
