What happens to big guilds who embraced this as a group project and dished out thousands of gold to acquire decorations that felt both rewarding and balanced as a group effort ?

You have not accounted for the fact it feels awkward, slow, unreliable and no fun. Why do you factor in might and regen that are not part of this trait ?

PvE 1/10 currently a futile contribution to any group.

Ranger felt really fast and fun for once. Guess it was pretty good while it lasted.
Now it’s just same old ranger, i’ll go play some other toon since you know, they’ll probably be on the funner side of imbalanced.

Allowing macro’s for instruments.
Removing SAB.
No direct trade system.

iirc its something like 20% chance for rares to roll into an exotic.
Whenever an exotic is rolled whether its by 4 rares or 4 exotics theres a 0.03 to 0.05% chance for it to be a precursor.

Turn post-processing off.

Theres an option you can check to have your camera put behind the eyes of your character. Its under the first tab of the option menu.
Check ‘adjust camera to character height’ on.

May this please be clarified. Say we are to start with this bolded policy which seems to be the core of the original posting.

This seems somewhat vague, Where do concepts like these fit in : ferrying to maps for either SW or Teq, offering/selling ports to badges or jumping puzzles as these are not in the intended use of forming groups of players to play with (nor is selling dungeon paths but that does not seem to bother). Also guild recruitement in LFG, is that an acceptable use in the object of forming a group of players ?

Fairly straightforward, I’m actually surprised those aren’t around already.
would it not be cool to have collections and associated rewards for unlocking every dye of black lion trading company dye sets ?
It would add plus value to dyes and encourage collectors.

Thing is, i’d love to be able to keep hearing instruments because I think they bring something unique to the game. Something that macro’s take away, hence my question, if there is any possible way to block specific players from being heard or of the blocking system could be extended to audio. Moving out of range isn’t always an option. (for ex, having to stay at a location for a guild mission. A running musician using macro’s in a WvW group)

@ashen : Probably, I hadn’t thought about that. Ive never had a reason to want to block music players before, even the bell/horn spamming for annoyance never really bothered me.

Ever since you opened the door to macro’s being used for music instruments I personally haven’t taken my instruments out. Much to my sadness now that playing an instrument has no musical significance I would love to be able to block some of the macro instrument players just on the basis that I dont really feel like listening to the fake stuff, I can just listen to a mp3 file of something if i want to hear a recorded song in a low quality environment. Is extending the block feature into also removing instrument sounds from specific players a possibility ?

Fantastic patch, best work on LS in over a year. Very fun, cohesive. Made me want to finish everything, rewarding and provides incentive. Lore is amazing.

I would love to just see us embrace the megaserver reality completely. I believe we could have a set amount of teams and that guilds could chose to represent or express a preference for a team (they cant switch too often). Guilds then get sorted into these teams based on preferences while the guilds that dont express a choice get auto-sorted. The team allegiance can be changed by guild leaders but sorting is only done on resets, these new teams become the groups that go into WvW and have to assume team queues for BL’s. A downside to this is no server nationalism which help make the WvW experience enjoyable in my opinion, on the other hand the experience would be a lot more fluid and encourage guild loyalty and player movement, Oh we didnt get along this season ? your guild doesnt like how we command ? See you on the battle field we’ll be on purple team next season.

Also, player kills should count for a significantly larger portion of score. Skill>coverage

I think the whole “SAB or Riot” thing is in very poor taste in light of current affairs.

I hope it doesn’t go viral because it will reflect poorly on the GW2 community, and gamers in general if a) we get this worked up over a GAME, and b) make light of real issues to express discontent.

Because gamers voicing out for features they love by trying to express their support to it is a bad thing amirite ? such toxic community, they actually love the game ! :c

I run hybrid using shroud as a central part of my agression. Mix of Knight’s and Celestial.
I like axe/warhorn as my main. My switchset has been staff lately, the long range is often useful especially in defence. I do carry around scepter dagger in my bags.

You should probably be running that warhorn with an axe as a tanky harassment necro for their range work very well together. (pop wh5 moving towards enemy, wh4, axe 3, DS
(Crippling AOE, LF returns, 15 seconds of retaliation.) DS5 DS4, out of DS. next sequence)

They are both solid choices in DS builds. Death shroud is very strong and should not be used as a life line.

Life force returns stack with healing power. Warhorn 5 and Axe 2 will get you a full bar of LF in a matter of seconds. WH5 during DS will also get you positive LF returns that outweight your LF loss as long as you keep a target under fire. The crippling is pretty nice.
Its about that swiftness and LF returns while in combat tho, Its not a weapon for condition necros, its for tanky in your face necros. WH4 stacks up to 4+ seconds of daze when traited.
WH5 and spectral walk keep you perma-swift.

Based on my appreciation of this weapon that i run everyday in WvW. I would love a buff but i dont think it is underpowered in any way that would justify one.

I am willing to share Shroudstomp/CC builds if there is interest.

Hello pretty Anet people.
I have been getting wrinkles over the new SAB content the past few days its been a fun yet challenging joy ride.

Upon completing tribulation mode in world 1 this morning (zones 1 thru 3) i have recieved my last king toad token, oh joy ! success !

Sadly my glutton for punishment achievement did not tier up even tho i stayed till the end of it all including the cart breaking and all. It seems to be stuck at tier 2/3 even tho i DID complete all of trib mode in world 1 as the 3 king toad’s tokens sitting in my ranger’s inventory witness.

Considering i did this legitimately and completed this content, i would love if my achievement could be looked into and awarded, I wish to carry on with my progression and would rather not have to do the last part of world one again as world two awaits me.
