I just really wanted to say how much I love this jp!
It’s so pretty and addictive, I don’t want it to end in a couple of weeks .. I loved it very much last year too, but the changes this year have made it even more amazing!
Thanks to those who created it!

Making gates stronger would be a huge improvement.. atm normal acs are completely useless no matter how many of them you have (which is ridiculous). Even with 3 superior acs you can’t kill 3 superior rams at a gate unless you have all of them manned the second the enemies hit the gate.
Another thing that could be considered is reverting the change to the contested swords.
The ram mastery made life as a defender hell

Hey Anet,
Please take a look at the server matchups in the last months..
Why have you let this go on for so long?
How is it OK for matches to end with 100k point difference week after week?
And now, instead of reducing the chance of servers to meet 7-8 ranks above them, you decide that we should just fight servers 12 ranks above us.. without any way to get out of it.. are you serious?
It doesn’t make sense for a business to make their customers frustrated, is there an explanation behind this?
I’m really curious how you guys make decisions over there..

It’s been 3 days now, can we get an update on this?
Right now it’s painful for some people to look at the map .. How long do we have to wait for an option to change it?

The new colors are really painful to look at, they’re just too bright.

The cost is fine as it is, it’s working as intended. It does prevent most people from switching servers too often.
And if you feel that you’re stuck on the wrong server you have the option to either buy gems with real money or farm in-game currency ..
This is coming from someone who spent ALL their gold on changing server. Nobody’s forcing you to move…

My eyes are bleeding Anet! WHY?
After a few mins of trying to play I give up.. whoever thought of this should have their eyes checked first.

Ignore the trolls guys and just keep raining arrow carts on them.. that’s what I do and I’m having a blast tbh.

Looting in WvW is perfect the way it is.
I am soooo happy I don’t have to run to a corpse to loot it, especially when that corpse in the middle of an enemy zerg.
If you die and miss the precious loot just get over it, it was probably a spike anyway

It’s absurd to have veteran harpy award wxp while escorting a dolyak doesn’t. Also since patch NOBODY repairs anything because it doesn’t help with ranks and it’s easier to lose and recap a keep anyway.
I’m all for big laggy fights, but mindless running and recapping objectives shouldn’t be the best rewarded activity in WvW.
It feels like the person who designed that doesn’t play WvW at all..

I’m having some serious issues with GPU temperatures while playing GW2. I’m monitoring performance at all times and getting temperatures as high as 110 C, at which point my system crashes and I have to restart manually.
My GPU is old, I know, but it’s within the system requirements – NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX

Things I tried that didn’t work:
1. Thoroughly cleaned the GPU so it’s dust-free.
2. Updated drivers to the latest version from the manufacturer’s website.
3. Set the game settings to LOW and I’m playing in windowed mode.
4. Downloaded a program to manually control fan speed, but even at 100% fan speed I got 104C at the character screen.

If there is anything else I can try, please share!
I’m not having these temperatures while playing other games, only with GW2. (Not playing any graphic-intense games though, so can’t compare that much. Other MMOs seem to work fine.)
Also noting that my PC is not close to any walls, one side is open so i can make sure that the fan is actually spinning..and the room temperature is about 20C, so this shouldn’t be a problem.
I really hope that I won’t have to buy a new GPU
