Until they confirm this has been fixed I won’t make a beta test character , so this whole beta test week-end seems like a total waste of time since alot of people will do exactly the same. The ingame mail is very AWFUL , I had 8 god walking and 50/50 in gw1, when GW2 ,came out alot of people were very disapointed about the reward we got and now they even take the achievment points away from us feels like a slap in the face and geting called a cheater although you genuinely earned it makes you feel sick.
Ever since I dropped the same green Item twice from a Claw of Jormag chest I realized the random numbers in this game are broken, I can accept it because it’s just drops that go to the merchant anyways for 1 silver 98. But this is really going to far … fighting against the same server in WvW for six weeks now can not be tolerated any longer . Is random numbers really broken all over this game now ?? There is no more fun going into WvW , it’s become boring to see the same people over and over again me may aswell stop fighting and just take turns flipping the maps , like every 3 hours in a rotation. This is not the Guild WARS I signed up for … In the past weeks I actually added more people from Seafarers and Vizuna Square to my friend-list than I added people from Piken Square (the server I play on). Seriously do you want the 3 top servers to just stop playing until the other servers catch up on them… maybe you should just close down WvW all together and reopen in a few weeks when half of the population of every servers either stopped playing the game or has switched to a lower server. I remember GW2 beta when we got asked to give a rating to the aspect of the games in a scale from 1 to 5 … at the moment WvW deserves 0 = NO FUN AT ALL.

Make sure you have cleared out your pickup tab. There is a limit to how many items you can have there at one time. Until you clear it, newly purchased items and gold from sales will not appear.
Did you actually read the Original Post, the guy clearly states “I have no money in the pick-up tab” that tells me his pick-up tab was empty!

I played GW2 for 1.094 hours and 44 minutes in the past 2 months, it’s Tuesday 20/11/2012 16:01 PM , I have not logged into GW2 yet , indeed this Lost Shores was a world changing event. I totally lost my motivation to play the game, I’m totally disappointed about the whole way they treat their loyal customers.
Agree 100% with the OP, we were totally uninformed and totally demotivated to even participate in phase 3 after the fiasco that happend in phase 1 +2.
This patch has ‘complete lack of communication’ written all over it…from where to go and how to participate in the event, to responses of player concerns regarding the BIG changes to the game.

Dude, they released almost all the info 2 weeks prior to the event. all the quest logs were clear and concise on what to do next. I don’t understand where the lack of communication was. Did you even bother to check the forums if you had any doubts about anything?
And please don’t reply to me saying “Oh but I’m playing the game, why should I need to go to the forums?”
Again all was clear and concise , what wasn´t clear was the rewards but hey, they passed the message UNIQUE and ONE TIME so at least it should get people interested cause personally the event sucked in terms of fun.

The event albeit long was never boring and required strategy to get through and successfully complete. Our group had a blast doing this and hope to see many more in the months ahead!
Sorry , what part of this event required strategy to be done, does this mean without strategy we would have failed and not be able to finish it… I bet the whole event could have run on an totally empty server and still be completed …
Reading all this post you would think this game is just made for EXPLOITERS and BOT users, please ANET do something about this , Just ban them all , nobody who opened that 1 time event chest more than once is innocent and deserves an appropriate punishment and this also applies to BOT users. Do something please !!!!
I was totally disappointed about the last 2 events. Halloween was not so bad because first I don’t care much for Halloween anyway and the few things I did at Halloween was actually fun. But Cursed shore I wanted to participate. Phase One I totally missed out, I spend 3 hours in the fractals and thought that was it and missed the main event that was going on that day because the information we got was insufficient for us to find out what was going on. Phase 2 I was there participating for a while but since you get no drop at all killing a Champion Karka or a Veteran in a Zerg I moved on to explore the island on my own. don’t know if the Event worked … Phase 3 I did the whole event , yeah it was 3 hours of following a boring giant Lobster Crab Thing over the island and I finally got 4 Exotic drops and a 20 slotted bag. I feel lucky I didn’t disconnect like a lot of other people I know and I didn’t have to get up early on Monday. I suggest make lock server transfers for a week before the event and plan them according to the Timezones. And if you really insist on Americans being privileged just do it in America on a Saturday while it’s done in the rest of the World on a Sunday. I don’t care if I get my loot 18 hours later as the USA , all I’m bothered is to do it at a time during the day and not during the night !! People have to get up to go to work the next day to earn money to pay for the GEMS in your Gem-store !!! Remember this , we are your customers and you should respect our RL .
