So the Halloween event started, great.
I went to the vendors to see the rewards and had a bug in my head.
The vendor sells an item to craft Gift Of Souls, ok… So… What the hell is gift of souls? How am I supposed to know about it without going to Dulfy, wiki, forum?? The game doesn’t provide me ANY information.
Am I doing the whole event? Is there a path that I can follow so I don’t lose anything from the event? No, it’s just there on LA and I have no idea what’s going on…
Then I see in chat “I’m crafting the event wings”, wait.. You can craft the event wings? It isn’t in the vendors, how am I supposed to know that I can craft some wings with the event theme?
And then after some research I found out that I need to get the recipe to craft the 1st part, then gather some materials to finish the 2nd part and discover the other recipe to let me craft the other part to complete the 1st one, mix it on the MF and get a recipe to craft the last part of the 1st part and discover the super recipe to craft the ultra part to finish the first recipe of the parts… (well, you got the idea of my point).

So, why the game does not provide me informations? Why do I REALLY NEED wiki? I don’t mind using wiki, but give me some info about “this item craft gift of souls”…

Last thing, I thought I would do the event, get some tokens and buy rewards with them, final rewards… Not crafting recipes that I need other 40 recipes to maybe craft a themed wings.
If the vendor sells the wings and it costs 50 tokens, i’ll farm the event and get the wings, but Gw2 is way too complicated on this aspect.

Ele players will still wreck people, period.

Because the player will have SO MUCH fun that he/she gonna buy it IMMEDIATELY.

We really don’t mind if you say “sorry for our mistake” and shutdown the event to fix it. Don’t push it making urgent patches, it annoys people.
Many players gave up already and even if you fix it, people already lost their hype.

If you shutdown the event and re-design it, then people will try this again.

Did you fix something or what? Because i’m getting 60fps where I used to get 30…
Heart Of The Mists was around 30~40 on the bank/TP NPC’s… Now it’s 60~80.

No, I didn’t change anything in my rig.

Gtx 760 windows 10 64bit activated and up to date, all the drivers (I always double check).
CPU i5 2500k @4.2Ghz
Gw2 is running on kitten.
Background softwares is Team Speak and Windows Media Player only.

I’m playing Battlefield 4 with 60~80fps as always, other games the performance is the same, ONLY Gw2 is having this issue.

Every day I farm on SW, doing Vinewrath playing with 30~50fps during all the crowded fights.
After patching the game, I noticed that my fps was really bad dropping to 14 sometimes.

No, I didn’t change anything in my rig, didn’t change drivers, it’s all up to date like always.

Have you guys notice any changes on your games performance?

He’s probably one of the best engies out there, I’m talking about Five Gauge from The Abjured.
Well, I see him do the follow:
Perma swiftness
Stealth
Pull the target
Push the target
Heavy condition damage
Good ranged damage
Insane healing
Perma regen
Perma vigor
Insane kite mechanic
Engi shield has lower cooldown on block than guardian and warrior, unbelievable.
He trasnform people into MOA, really Anet??
He gets WARRIOR’S rampage on a much LOWER cooldown, the damage? Is almost the same.
It’s tanky as hell
He goes twice in less than 20 secs into the mini-form being invunerable to everything…
He cleanses condies very often.

So, Engineers can do EVERYTHING and they do everything very very well.
In good hands like Chaith, it shows how broken engies are.

Remove the moa, rampage, shield and invulnerable from this class and it may balance things out.
Also engies has zero cooldown on kits, give Eles no cooldown on attunements too.

I main an Ele, so I know Earth trait line improves Toughness..
I created a Guardian and I don’t know which trait improve Toughness, cause there’s no icon anymore that I can put my mouse on top of it and see “improve toughness by X”.

People say “go 10011”… Ok… I’m not familiar with Guardians so I don’t know which trait is the number 1. You got the point.

Whats the point here? Engies can tank that all day while STANDING STILL. Ele’s have to move, do proper rotation…

Elemental Attunement wouldn’t be a problem, put an 8 secs internal cooldown on each attunement to proc EA again, problem solved.
Fresh air would be the same.

Like ALL the other classes that can swap weapons, engies can swap kits.
Only Eles have to wait the standard cooldown for Attunements even when you’re out of combat.
It would be a huge QoL.

I don’t think Elemental Attunement would be a problem.

So I created my Beta toon, the game closed BECAUSE OF NEW BUILD UPDATE…

When I came back to the I couldn’t join the beta, what’s going on?

SW was dead, the portal farm made it alive again, then we could run lots of chest train and I could finish my Legendary.

BTW: I got 2 portals.

I think they won’t touch Zerk gear, instead they will improve the other stats.

I think they should show us the new Legendaries.

Staying quiet isn’t good, people would be way hyped if they had more info like release date and other specializations.

If they change 1 or 2 hours will be really good for EU + South America.

Only USA I don’t think is enough to stress test or to achieve the goals they have in mind.
Sadly we don’t really know their goal.

Well, the majority of the players have a job, we get out of work at 5~6pm.. takes 30~50 minutes to get home, we’ll not be able to play the best.

How about you increase the last one by 1 hour? 2 hours would be perfect, you’d have waaay more players online if you do that.

So about 5 days ago my game is unplayable, because I’m suddenly getting ping 280~300.
I play from South America, my ping is around 120~130 in peak times.

It’s not my ISP because it happend ONLY in Gw2, all the other games I’m getting same ping as before.

What should I do?

We thought her account (2.5 yrs old) would be allowed to join the beta everytime Anet put it on live to test.

Toughness increase: 290.

Well, I went to spvp to test it, while hitting the training golem with a channeled skill my toughness wasn’t being increased by the trait. I had my pvp stats window opened to see.

I’m a 1 year player that plays other games too. Recently one of these games introduced something really helpful to the combat system.
If you tap twice your AoE skill, it’ll be put right on the feet of your target. GW2 is a heavy movement game so it wouldn’t break PvP or WvW. You can turn it on or off, depends on you. You don’t need to move your mouse to where you want to put your AoE atack.

Lot’s of time in WvW, pvp or crowded PvE fights I just “lost” my mouse cursour, takes me a few seconds to get it back to put the aoe’s on the ground, for me this is a problem, for some of you could be the difference between a rookie and a veteran.

No, I don’t wanna things to be easier, I don’t want easy stuff, but quality of life improvement is really good for the game.

Well, you bought your ticket to watch a movie, you were late cause of heavy traffic, you lost 15 minutes of the movie.. You can’t yell “start the movie again, I got heavy traffic”. Or neither ask to watch the first 15 minutes in another movie session cause your ticket already expired.

So, I’ve been playing sPVP as a D/D, i really like the playstyle, but for leveling may not be the best weapon to kill a pack of mobs or range atacks.

I have a lvl 80 warrior and I can say Greatsword is a “must have” for leveling.

So, which weapon you guys is the best for leveling my Ele?

So, I’m leveling an Elementalist, level 38 using almost the same outfit since I started leveling.
I don’t understand that tab to put the skins, is that an appearance tab? Can I put the skin I want and continue to upgrade my gear throughout the leveling?

I have a 100mb/s ISP optice fiber, all ports opened and my download speed is about 600kb/s. it’s not peak time. Every other software that uses my connection is closed, only the GW2 launcher is running.

Is there something that I can do to increase the download speed?

Using:
Greatsword with minor sigil of bloodlust
Staff because of swiftness and might stack. There’s other way to increase movement speed?
All Power gear from the Karma vendor in WvW.
Food for +15% and +10% xp from kills.
– Rough of Sharpening Stone
– Bowl of Candy Corn Custard
Passive signets and virtues.

What you guys sugest to make leveling easier and faster?
