Someone posted some numbers few days ago. Saying the euros have twice as many Spvp players than NA. That could be why.

Well if there just solo joining tournys for a few hours, most of these player probably aint taking it too srs anyways and with the breaks in between likely do something else , browsing forums , smoking..etc

Thats what i’d put my money on.

Why do people even farm glory..its almost worthless…have over 100 boosters last i looked..

There just using tournaments the same way they do hot join. The only way it gets better is by increasing your rating and getting away from the …i dont know….tournament hot joiners…..

I find the real problem with this is the fact that when u are in a fight among alot of pets , i almost always lose target due to looking around with right mouse button. And it can be incredibly hard too stay alive while trying to reconnect to your target.

Yeah quite like that suggestion. 5minutes to return or else you are hit with a rating loss + you take a % of your team mates rating loss. Perhaps 25% from each player , effectively giving the leaver 2 loses. While being slightly leniant on the remaining 4.

Yeah, tournaments are more like 5v5 hot join now. It’s sad that it had to come to that. Considering the reasons you left , you will likely enjoy SPVP alot now and with the custom arenas and spectator mode inc. There ain’t been a better time to come back.

It’s far from perfect however.

And while your guardian’s are cracking one out, you’ll need 2 ele’s camping them in spawn. This works on every map to date.

I’ve played all thief builds and have around 800 games played. Last week i would have said thief was still good. However after playing a mesmer this past week , i did not realise how easy there damage is to avoid.

Caltrops thief is hilarous, to watch him lay down his red rings of death, while i stand away from him rofling. The only people i see them kill are lower skill players who will happily stand in there damage.

Anyway dont have time to go into detail.

IMO bunkers should be looked at and tuned down a fair bit. Then lets look at the thief.

a team of 5 ? thats never played a thief? kitten!

the only time a thief is hard to target for me is when they stealth and i lose target and there is a ridiculous amount of turrets / necro pets about and i’m trying to tab target.

Quite annoying as a zerker mesmer, really dont have time to single target a decent thief in the middle of a fight.

And losing target using right mouse button to turn is really starting to get old.

Well they(anet) seem to breaking away from there 1 char for all 3 aspects of the game ,3w, pve, spvp. So hopefully they will balance the classes for SPVP only and this should open up more doors for extra game mode etc. That was one of the problems holding back game modes like TDM from what i understand.

I didnt play gw1 past level 12 or so , however i will go read a little about what your wrote because it sounds really good.

Bunkers i agree with 100% aswell. Extremely boring.

I’d rather get blown up by quickness pre-nerf than fight on a point for what seems like eternity. Pure bunkers can stay alive way way to long when you consider how small the maps are imo. Because even if u win the fight, its still lame.

Custom arenas were not in the game when i bought it , so i dont think i can complain at all. It’s not like im paying a sub…
