I have finally settled on a look for my mesmer (give me a week and it will be something else).
This is my raid gear at the moment and I am very happy with how it looks, I did have a darker tone to it originally however we use Redemption as a guild colour and it looked weird having black and yellow and then the red eyes.

There is an arrow near the top right you can click and see the old account medals you’re speaking of. The bars with the living story and monthly/daily is the default when you log in, wish there was a way to make tue account medals the default, I personally like this one more; its not a game breaking thing for me though, so I just ignore it.

I’m lvling a new char, warrior, and she’s only 51; she has more hp and does more dmg than my ele (yes who still is my main). Never thought I’d like war, but its growing on me, the survivability, heals, and the insane raw damage, when I’m not even trying.
Yes I have spent many hours on my ele, and I’m invested in it. I still have hope ele will get better. Being an alt-o-holic though (lol) I have other options.

I’m looking for a new guild that is friendly and active, which does daily dungeons and fractals (I’m currently lvl 38/have 55 AR) runs, open world content including guild missions, jumping puzzles, and such.
Feel free to mail me in game regarding any openings; I have a friend who is also interestediin a new guild.
I made a set to see how it is, I’m mainly using staff but I can already tell the crit damage is better, with not much less hp than one of my other sets. I still have not tried the celestial with s/d or d/d. I can only guess if my crits on staff are 3.5-5k then other weapons would be more. *note I also have ruby jewels on the celestial gear. Hope it helps.
If they remove skills while in JP what would happen if there are mobs? We couldn’t just stand there and let them kill us, nor could we try to run away/ignore and finish the JP as we will be in combat and our running is reduced.
Maybe when they add more JP they could use this no skill mechanic, but with some (key word, some) of the JP we need skills to kill mobs (such as the ones in the chest rooms)
As for the camera being close, I’ve only had problems with norn and Asura. I don’t play charr. But even with human/sylvari I’ve seen sometimes the camera is cut inside the head of the character. Takes moving the angle of the camera to be able to see properly.
Anyone remember the Asura out front of FoTM when it first was put in the game? I don’t remember what exactly he said (thankfully) but they reduced the amount of times he said it.
Perhaps under sound options, there can be a slider for NPC voices to turn them off, or the volume.
In CoF, I turn off game sound so i wouldnt go crazy and hear voices in my head when not playing.
I would also like this feature. When I bought 100 icy runestones for crafting Bifrost, I though 100 was bad; but 400? 100k? If they do ever include this feature, perhaps adding a confirmation box, asking are you sure you want to purchase [this amount] of item? Since stacks only go up to 250, maybe we would only be limited to purchase 250 at a time. But it’s far better than clicking buy 400 times, or double clicking 800 times.
Even during the Wintersday event, they had weapons in the gem store and another set for trade, using the ugly sweaters, socks, hats (which were able to be tradable through the tp. I liked this system. Gets you to actually play the event (and the game) to earn the weapon instead of always hoping to get a ticket.

The shirt and leggings are low lvl (~14+) drops off mobs or you can find on the trading post. The shoulders and gloves, along with the sword are rewards from HoM (GW).
I like purple, but I refuse to use pink!
My mesmer uses abyss and white, then again she’s kinda got the whole dom outfit going on (seems many mesmer use this outfit, bit I like it) for the time being
I made Vision of the Mist for my guardian, because it was purple (to match the purple armor). For me I don’t mind the basic model for the sword, as the glowing effect is the part that I like the most.
Some say for shatter, staff and s/f are the prime weapons. For phantasm GS and s/p. I think it depends which build you decide, or you can play around and see which you like best. But those weapons are more commonly used.
I’ve always wondered why they have points. If it was only about bragging rights and titles, there would be no point system. But I also agree, we have way too many types of currency.
Since we do have points, what would we do to trade them?
Legendary, I’m sorry no; that’s way too easy to just buy them. But perhaps they are needed to buy an aspect of it. The player is rewarded for actually playing the game.
Elite armour would be cool, something to stand out from all the other players.
As you probably know rewards for completing a map are lvl appropriate to the zone. When first starting out, the stones are a very good reward. But as someone who has multiple max characters, the regular stones are basically useless (unless one creates more alts to use them on).
Leveling my fifth character, I’m still using the normal transmutation stones, and I still have over 100 sitting in my bank.
I suggest, we are able to upgrade the transmutation stones, into the transmutation crystals. Perhaps something like 5 stones = 1 crystal. It would work similar to the fine crafting materials conversion in the MF; 5 stones + dust (maybe 10?) =1crystal. This way you are able to use the transmutation stones you no longer need, in exchange for the lvl 80 ones.
I agree that guild chat would be better if it didn’t wipe all the text. Map/say/party/whisper chats don’t, why can’t guild; it would make things a little better for those of us who are alt aholics

Have a good variety of mediums in your portfolio. Seems the paintings had a mix of realist and abstract, my fav was the lion panting.
Any plans on doing more GW2?
I personally like the mix of #2 and #4 for your ele. The bulky industrial look of the gauntlets match well with 2/4, both of which show the CoF boots really well.

I had a difficult time remembering to switch attunments at first too, only used fire for a long time. But I learned which were combo fields/finishers and tested them level mobs slowly got the hang of it, now it comes as second nature. Personally (and I’m sure many other ele’s) use ‘Arcane Wave’ (combo finisher) as a utility. Four mobs run to lay down ‘Lava Font’ (combo field) when all mobs are inside, I hit ‘Arcane Wave’ and does a very nice amount of aoe damage, plus give me several stacks of might. If you time it right, earth 2 is also a blast finisher, and takes time to channel, before it bursts. Best advice just practice!
This would be a great addition. I don’t know game development but I don’t think it would be to difficult to add the frames.
I know hovering over the icon isn’t that hard to do, but it would make salvaging/selling items easier.
