I just have a quick question regarding the newest legendary weapons.
I know that the original HoT legendaries like Nevermore, or Chuka and Champawat has their own journey that you have to do before you can craft the legendary, but these new one like The Shining Blade, or Shoosadoo doesn’t have the journey, so can you craft them again after you’ve already done it?
There is nothing in game that said you can only craft this weapon once, but i know that for the original legendaries you can’t craft the precursor more than once. But i don’t know about the HoT legendaries.

Braham is all about emotion in this episode, and honestly i don’t like it. Now that he had cracked the tooth, the norns will follow him into battle with Jormag. He said that he won’t give Jormag another minute, he won’t let another person’s mother to be killed. And yet, if he lead those norns into battle, that is exactly what he will do, not just another person’s mother, but father, or son.
Will he take responsibility for that?
Will he face those people when he came back and tell them that their mother, father, son had died following him into a losing battle?
(that is if Jormag has a twisted mind to have him chained up and witness all the norns that followed him to be killed or turned, while he can’t do anything and then set him loose as an example to other Norns)
I understand the Norns are a warrior race, but there is bravery, and then there is stupidity. I don’t think Braham quite understand that concept.

Has any of you encountered problem where bloom get to 25%, about to do his massive attack, but you can’t interact with the column after you pick up the wisp? My group wiped about 3times last night, not because we didn’t know his attack but because we can’t interact with anything after picking up the wisp.
I wonder if this is a bug, or we did something wrong, like there is another step we need to do before picking up the wisp

I haven’t experienced this and I’ve run it a few times. So I don’t think there’s anything extra, just grab a wisp from SE/SW/NE/NW and bring it to the closest depository pillar.

We did, the last tried we did, we assigned specific people at specific location, just so we make sure that we didn’t make a mistake to forget a wisp or something.
None of us was able to interact with the stump/column after picking up the wisp

are you talking about runes for armors? if that is the case, there is the rune of traveler that will give you 25% speedboost at all time. that used to be more popular among mesmer before HoT

Uhm….noob question here, when you said fireball, you mean ele’s staff skill 1 right? I have several eles but only 1 uses staff, and i gave her the bifrost, so i might missed out on something here (bifrost make all skill 1 looks like rainbow dart, regardless of attunement)

My guild just completed the guild tavern and able to upgraded the guild enhancement yesterday.
We are now able to have karma and experience booster for 24hrs for each character. However, we are unable to have both of these enhancement at the sametime. Is there a way for us to upgrade the guild hall so we can have both at the sametime?

My friend and i are looking for an active guild that we can join. We are PvX players, and we play at least 4hrs each night. My friend had been playing this game since launch, while i joined the game couple months after. We are both fractal/dungeon runners with meta build, while my friend like to do wvw/pvp half of the time, i mostly do dungeon/fractal or pve related.
We are willing to join a 100% required rep, but each of us have our own personal guild bank that we rep for about 2min each day as we need to deposit materials into that bank.

Fairly uncommon?? Everytime we have that fractal for the past 4weeks (and i ran fractal daily), all the pugs tend to ran there and expected me to join them. So i doubted it “fairly uncommon” at this point, it’s frustrating since i can put “no bug moss” in my lfg but getting cliffside is rng. I guess i need to also put “no bug archdiviner” in my lfg from now on…..sign

I alway put “lvl no bug moss”, and surprisingly i alway have people joined immediately, this is when i mostly play around 2-3am central time zone. So i guess there are plenty of people out there who absolutely hate bugging moss

Another certainty in getting spirit shards is doing personal story. I recently leveled up an alt and it seems you get around 8 for chapter 1-3

hello guys, i have never come across this problem before, but almost all of my friends have had this happened to them. Because of this they haven’t bother with running either Teq or TT for a week now, though they couldn’t tell me what is the guild name as they don’t remember or wasn’t paying attention at the time. Can you guys pm me the guild’s name so i know and stay away from them in the future? I understand that naming and shaming is against the rule of the forum, but i don’t think the rule applied to pm, if i’m wrong than nevermind.

i used to have a group of friends that do dungeon/fractal, and we do them every night for almost a year. And then real life happened so that now there are only myself and another guy that are able to play for any length of time. We love to have a full group to do all dungeons/fractals, but most of the time we have to duo everything. The reason is not because we’re good player or anything, but because my friend have an average of 5k ping and so all of his action or reaction are 2sec or more delayed. There is no way for him to get better internet, and so we have to choose between getting a group and run a risk of having them kicked my friend, or just suck it up and duo what we could. After doing close to 500 pug groups, my friend only got kicked 3 times, and that was because he couldn’t come back in time before the game kicked him from the group. So to me, pugging is not bad as long as you don’t joined group that asked for speed run, because there is nothing speed about doing dungeon with constant 5k ping.
BTW, at this point i lost my train of thought and kinda just rambling on and on. But what i wanted to said was pugging is not the end of the world as we know it.

Lvl 49 fractal, only asking for experience no class specified. A 3k ranger joined, proceeded to kick without giving the guy a chance. They then pulled mossman underwater to kill him. I left right after moss so i don’t know how the rest of the run went, but still though if they don’t want ranger then said so, no peeps at a certain AP also mentioned that, so i’d know and steer clear of those guy.

Yeah, i think the part i said about need to have HoT to play was incorrect. I guess i got selective reading/memory at that part

In order to play stronghold, you need to pre-purchased the expansion.
to get into it, simply go into heart of the mist (the cross sword on the top left of your screen). Once you’re inside, open the crossword again (this time it’s in the top middle part of your screen) click play ranked or unranked arena and you should be able to queue for a game.
if you exclusively wanted to play strong hold, somewhere on the right side on that same screen, you should uncheck combat, leave only stronghold checked before you queue. That is to ensure you will be able to get into a stronghold match.
alternatively, i believed you can queue up to a match anywhere in the world without having to go to heart of the mist.

If you truly wanted to play wvw with your friend, try eotm. You can be allies if you’re the same color, or fight each other if you’re different colors. Alot of people said eotm is not real wvw, but it’s an option if you want to play with your friend but not in pvp or pve. Guesting to different world for wvw is a bad idea, considering what would stop t1 server to recruit t2 server for match making. It’s a headache i doubted anet wanted to take.

This is bug that anet is looking into, i’m posting this on my phone so i can’t give you a link to show where they’re talking about it, hopefully someone else can.

seriously, what is this pathing? I don’t play thief, nor have anyone i know play thief, so what is this you guys talking about? i also don’t do CM all that much, so i guess that’s why i’ve never seen anyone do it

I noticed that they appeared around the apple cart, and by the inn where we go to get the karka thing. But do you see them anywhere else? I also wanna know if these two are orphans, or just kids being kids from the way they acted, and i’m a little worry about them being by that inn with all those crooks

just like what the title said, i bought the standard edition yesterday with the intention of upgrading it to deluxe using gems. After i purchased the standard edition, i logged out of game and then logged back in. I saw that the option to upgraded to deluxe is there, but when i tried to do it, it said that i already purchased the maximum number for this item. That got me confused since i know for a fact that i haven’t upgraded yet, and my gems is still there.
i had already contacted customer service, but i’m assuming that they’re having their hand full with refund and all, so just wanted to know if any of you had encountered this yet? And if so, do you think maybe we have to wait about 24 hours after purchased to be able to upgrade?

i have a quick question, i mostly used an ele in dungeon group. I have d/f, and s/f depend on situation, and i will stack might at much as i’m able in and out of combat. The only problem i have is when i used d/f, i can’t seem to get water skill 5 on focus to land on my fire field. The same goes for fire skill 2 on s/f. I look at video on youtube and i saw that people do it perfectly, and i even copied their movement second by second, what did i do wrong? Or i need to change something in my option?

so i was doing vinewrath last night and encountered this bug where the 3rd boss, in north lane, heal when he was closed to the wall.
I didn’t see it personally as i was in mid lane, but north and south both failed and by the time i came in to fight him, he went down. But that was possible because we meleed him and also noone stand near the wall, nor kill the bloom that are in the north left corner.
i’m not sure if anyone else encountered this bug yet. It’s very annoying and very high chance of failed vinewrath.

They changed it about a year again, when they put the personal story in chapter, and you can only do them starting at level 10. They took out “My greatest fear” plot line which consist of you helping Tonn, or 2 others. And the story are also out of order too. However, the good new is they said they are changing it back soon, how soon? I have no idea on thag

Hey guys, i’ve been running SE p1 with pugs exclusively, and just now realized that doing those 3 champs in the open is better. Called me noob if you want, but noone ever said otherwise in pugs (i guess it’s pug for a reason), but as i’m the ele in the group, how do i fight those 3 in the open? I was really surprised and fascinated with the fact that there is a whole new way of doing those 3 kitten, so any advice would be welcome…..thanks

hum…so i should start having a staff in my inventory? I was using staff before, but i don’t like ranging, so i settle on d/f. I’m mostly main a mesmer, and surviving on mesmer is not a hard thing to do. I had a huge rude awakening switching to ele though, but it’s a very fun class to play. Now i just need to learn how to survive if my group is not all zerk.

yes, the ping i saw was from the option screen, and no it’s not an average ping. It’s only happened for the past 4 days that i know of, not before then, i thought it was my computer being weird as first, but i’m still able to play other games just not guild wars 2. i’m not using satellite internet, and this happened randomly throughout the day regardless of hour. Once this happened, it took me about an hour before i can play, and i can play for about 4hrs before the lag happened again.

so i can’t do anything to fix the problem?

I love the damage, i love the fact that i can only make maybe 1 mistake before being killed, but is there any other advice you guys can add to this build? I’m not asking for gear changing, but mostly for better surviving technique for this build. I’ve taken this build into dungeon, and if the group is zerk i have no problem surviving since we killed too fast, but if not then the only dungeon that i have a hard time surviving is Arah, all the other ones i can stay alive alot longer. Oh and another thing, i can stack up to 12 mights from all the rotations on my weapons + heal + 1 utilities, is there anything else i can do for better might stack?

Is it normal to have ping as high as 4651? and fps as 28?
I was doing fractal earlier with some guildies, and suddenly i got massive lag spike where everything is frozen in place. Once that’s over, everything i see is already happened 2-3min earlier. it was so bad that i couldn’t finished the fractal and have to leave.
