the necro Obsidian armor looked to cool. it was fun making them because you had to clear a big part of FOW to even get to the guy to forge them for you. not to mention getting all the ecto and Obsidian shards ( they were a lot harder to come by in gw1 )
and more heavy armor that doesn’t have skirts for my female guard…lol
for all you people who think the price is to much here is a solution for you.
wait for the price to drop! it will eventually happen just like it did with gw2 ( you can buy it for $20 right now)

i find the new daily system a refreshing change. its making me go to areas in pve i have not been to in a while, doing events i’ve never done before. the gathering daily doesn’t take a lot of time to do.
this is coming from a PVE player who has limited time to play, who mostly just runs dungeons. its making me crawl back out of those dungeons and and rediscover why i fell in love with this game in the first place.
we had two post about this and they have been deleted, so ill try and post a summary of what to do.
there are 2 parts to this gate.
1) to lead the oozes to the gears
2) to kill the lava elementals so they don’t kill the oozes.
for part 1, two people will get the buff from the plants to make the ooze follow you. one player will grab the right ooze the other the left. lead the ooze down each side of the path at the same time. dont let the ooze go in the flames. the ooze have to get to the gears within 10 sec of each other
part 2. the other 3 people will be on lava elemental duty. thanks to a developer comment (sorry i can’t remember who) he suggested to pre damage the elementals before you start to lead the oozes down the path. then kill them when the oozes get close.
another player suggestion was to kite the elementals.
use single target weapons so you don't accidentally kill the ooze.
I had this same problem. Also, and maybe I’m just doing something wrong here, any time I had attack focus on Tequatl, but his selected hit box left the edges of my screen (like when I would try to get a better angle to lay down Hylek Elixr and Salve on my DPS zerg), I would lose focus and have to re-select him to use my 1 and 2 skills against him. This actually got to be such a problem that my server decided to split the turrets down the middle. Northwestern turrets hit Teq with 2, Southeastern turrets laid down skills 3, 4, and 5. It was impossible for one turret to effectively do both types of skills without losing precious seconds to refocusing and swinging the camera around.
good idea splitting the turrets for specific jobs. i wonder what the minimum number of turrets needed to keep the harden scales buff down is? so the rest can focus on poison removal and buffing dps
edit: i just noticed that 4 turrets have red liquid in the jars and 2 have blue. maybe have the red turrets shoot tequatl and the blue ones heal, buff and remove poison??? might be an easy way to keep track of who does what

I have one request though for the turrets, can you make it so we can get a better overhead view of what we’re shooting? when i’m trying to cleanse the poison by tequatl, its kind of hard to tell if i’m aiming where people are standing or by where they’re standing.

1.I dont get the point why events not start in overflow map.
2.I cant doing the event with my friends, the game splitting the party on overflow channels. This was the notion of Anet about MMO-s? Go and farm alone (no i dont care the 2million stranger who runin around me, i want to play with my friends.), be happy if u have enough luck to see new content? I dont think that was mean “fun”.
but you can play with your friends. just party together and if you get separated. right click there portrait and goto there overflow server.
and yes its very annoying to goto the map being attacked and can’t do the event because i’m stuck on an overflow its not on.

any idea if we are going to have to kill her again to get it? some of us might not be able to because, the people who have gotten the achievement won’t do it again. Thus making it a lot harder to get all 4 camps cleaned out to make her spawn
the boulders do not need redone, there quite easy with or without a mesmer.
as for the speed runners there just a bunch of elitist jerks. you can still speed run p1 no matter the class you use. it may not be a 6 min run but it’s still darn fast.
if you’re having trouble with finding a group on gw2lfg, start your own group. i’ll be happy to bring my warrior to your party. have a ranger and guardian also so whatever u want me to use, i’m more then happy to help.
your first time through a path will take longer than the average. i would just plan on 3 hours on a new path till you get some experience in it.
i don’t think there is a set time for a dungeon because you have to many factors to add in. like i said before
gear
knowledge
party makeup
are all big factors in how fast (or slow) you can finish a dungeon. if you find your going over the dungeon average time, remember thats someone elses average time not yours.
as for the time it takes. that all depends on group makeup, gear level, and path knowledge. i know it can be frustrating but arah is meant to be a challenge.
i do know path 4 in arah will take you about 3 or 4 hours so be prepared.

This word “need” you use. Nothing is “needed”, only wanted. And we as a Mercenary guild provide it. Similar to how you “need” Trahearne in order to slay the elder dragon Zhaitan.
quit trying to justify something that is wrong. of course its not needed nothing in this game is needed, we don’t even need to play it. but when you have a game mechanic that is so broken that you need people like you, it needs to be reevaluated or fixed to work as intended.
by the screen shots above my first post by some guy who bought his dungeon master title from you. it looks like you use a 4 heavy 1 Mesmer group. it that needed to complete this? or can anyone use any class they want to get past it?
first time trying this path today. read the wiki, watched the utube videos but still spent hours trying to get past the sparks with no success. we always had that 1 spark that decided to take the long way around to its spot. or I had a few times I would forget to put my pet in passive and it would steal the sparks agro from me. ( I know a ranger in a dungeon wtf was I thinking)
tried every trick we could find online but nothing worked. I think my son summed up this boss fight pretty good when he said, this is the dumbest boss fight ever.

By adding challenging new combat mechanics to end-game content and ways to mitigate those mechanics through gear progression for high-end players, we can add personal progression without making the game feel like an endless treadmill of gear that is just out of your reach.
i run everything maxed out and have not had a single crash or black screen. im running an i5 2600k oc to 4.4gh, 8 gb of ram, gtx 560 superclocked. and the games installed on a ssd in raid 0. hope this helps if you decide to upgrade your pc.
for the love of god please dont add 10/25 man raids to this game. i allways hated trying to form a pug for a wow raid, it took forever to find enuff people
