With Path of Fire on the horizon, and my coffers running a little dry, I thought it was time to open up some gold commission slots again. It’s been ages since I’ve offered them so, get them while they last. I’ll take on as many as I can before the expax drops! I think the problem is that I don’t know. I’d love to say, oh yeah, it’ll be done by x date but the truth is that it’s too hard to estimate so I don’t like to give definitive dates unless the person commissioning me has requested that I have it done by a certain time.

Hey Fisalq, I’ll need to finish Lyriel’s and Atanae’s pictures before I can finish yours, okay? I’ll hopefully be able to get that done sooner than later but these things do take time and I do have my normal art jobs to do before I can do fun stuff like these commissions so I don’t get time every day to work on them and when I do, not that much time. Hey guys, haven’t forgot about you but things are kind of busy on my end. Not only do I have someone visiting from out of town keeping me busy, but I have a lot going on the personal side of things that’s been keeping me away from the computer. Having said that, a little update: I’m currently not able to work on the commission that I’ve accepted or the requests. To be frank, no art is happening right now besides tiny sketches happening as I run about. I won’t get into it here because this is really not the place but if you guys have me on social media at all, you can probably figure out what I’m on about. Anyway, things are crappy right now, I apologize for my absence, the lack of progress on the requests and commissions, and hopefully we can get back on schedule starting next week. I really do feel guilty and sorry but sometimes real life comes first.

Come to the last Request Monday!

Not because I’m not doing requests anymore, but because I’m switching to Wednesday! Mostly it has to do with me having a new appointment on Monday nights that I can’t miss but also because Wednesday is the only day of the week I don’t have a task for so that’ll be my request and do what I want day. So starting next week, see you Wednesdays!

I am, but it’s only roughed out. I complete them in order coz that seems fair, yeah?

Fisalq? I think you’re on the list? I’m not sure what you’re referring to? Also, you were going to have to wait a week at least because of me doing the commissions in order?

I have some issues with getting fatigued really easily and my husband brings home a lot of germs so I seem to get colds and sinus infections pretty often :’/

I have this on again off again relationship with a chronic cough that pretty much just hangs around for months on end making me cough so hard I vomit/pull abdominal muscles/cough up blood/faint/strain my neck muscles/other fun things. We think that it might be related to stress and a unusual case of acid reflux that causes a cough instead of heartburn. There’s not great way for us to test it until the next time it shows up, which hopefully won’t be for a while since I just got over a year long bout of it, but at least we have a working theory!

Other than that, lately I’ve been having some standard professional artist issues with my shoulder and wrist hurting from me doing so much work and a lot of repetitive motion. So I’ve had to slow down a little on the non-paid artwork so I can keep from seriously injuring myself. A lot of my friends have horror stories of how they had to get wrist braces even after surgery and chronic shoulder pain that would start from their pinky fingers and shoot up their arm. My favourite (except not) is the arm going numb from the elbow down from a damaged nerve. So much fun stuff!

Someone really lovely and nice messaged me in game about getting a commission and I promised them the newly opened up 5th commission slot, but then I failed to write myself any kind of note to remind me of who this person was. Malkavian, I don’t have a problem with that at all. It’s just the more clothes come off and the more salacious, the more I charge. And I also reserve the right to refuse certain requests if it’s too far outside of my comfort zone.

Birdpuncher, the spot is yours! I usually ask about personality, any specifics you would like, which of my styles you would prefer and anything you think I should know about them to make sure I capture your character with some accuracy.

Malkavian, I unfortunately do not do NSFW pictures as part of my free requests. Also NSFW work costs a bit extra depending on how NSFW. Send me a PM with more specifics?

Commission time!
As with the request sketches, I’ll provide hi-res and low-res files of your commission upon completion. For pencil commissions, I’d be happy to send you the original piece, so long as you will pay for shipping. That is real money via paypal. Some of the big perks of going for commissions, rather than just waiting for me to get your request is that you can set a deadline, I will work on it outside of the Monday streams, you get priority, you get to ask for revisions, you get to be pretty picky and you get to make demands. Obviously there might be areas where we have to meet in the middle but otherwise yeah, you’re the boss. You also get to choose between my two inking and colouring styles. And of course, PM me if there are any concerns or concerns.

Things are getting pretty hairy for me so we might see me slowing down a little bit. The other big thing is that I’m officially opening up for commissions for gold. I’ve been really on the fence about it for a lot of reasons, mostly because of time restraints and stuff, but also lack of confidence. You guys have been really great to me and I’m totally overwhelmed by the kind words and reaction my art’s been getting here. So, while I’m trying to make that cash money and opening commissions in general, I wanted to give back to you guys and offer commission quality work for in game gold. I’m still working out prices but let me know if you’re interested. Requests will continue as usual and I’ll try to keep the quality up. If you want to upgrade your request to paid status, which puts you at the front of the queue I might add, you can always pm me or hit me up in game.

In other news, I wanted some feedback from you guys. Any feedback would be great, but I particularly want to know how you guys feel about the wait time as requesters. The queue is at a point where I feel like I might need to close requests until I catch up. If people are fine with the wait, I’ll leave them open. But with each request taking two Mondays a piece at least and ten requests in the queue, it might Thanksgiving before anyone new gets their request fulfilled. I’m getting faster, and inking is taking less time but I can’t really promise a set ETA on anything. The only ones I can do that for paid pieces since that’s work stuff. So let me know what you think so I can get a better sense of how you guys feel about the long wait times and stuff.

In other news, I’m going to have to go through and really look at what order the queue is now and get that list posted so people get an idea of how long they’re going to wait at this point. With my workload about to pick up (I’m starting a webcomic!) things are going to get pretty tight in terms of time I can work on things that aren’t for work. I’m going to keep Request Mondays going, maybe move them to another day that’s more convenient for me but ultimately not going to be able to open that extra day like I’d hoped.

Also, I’ve hurt my shoulder again which means that today’s stream is canceled since the muscles are all bunched up and I can’t afford to really damage them or take any more work days off. Sorry guys, next week for sure.

In other news, the move to TwitchTV seems to have been super successful. Request Monday’s will stay as is but I think I might add a few more days, depending on how it goes. I’ve been streaming a lot lately, some gaming but mostly other drawing as I prepare for some pretty big projects to be published this fall and next year.
