No, I am sensitive to people misrepresenting and misquoting what I said. I want people to understand the actual argument. Rather than just blasting me for something I never said. And I feel that is a very fair thing to get worked up about.

You get worked up about everything. All anyone needs to see is your post history and they can see you are very volatile.

I think you are wrong that arena net failed to place anything to replace the trinity. I think the freedom we have to build and play how we want is marvelous. You can say “only x is viable and blah blah” but that just isn’t true. It’s true for speedruns, sure, but as a hardcore player turned casual by real life, I’m finding I prefer to play my chars how I want. I think anet replaced something old and stale with something fun and new. That’s my opinion. You can go on disagreeing, but at the end of the day I’m enjoying myself in the game, and if you’re hung up about not having a role, you’re missing out on what the game actually offers.

People are free to play any way they want. No one really cares. The problem arises when these same PUG’s who want to play the way they want constantly join speed run/zerk only/meta build only runs. At that point, I am not being allowed to play the way I want. All you folks who want to run garbage builds are just kindly asked to do it in your own groups and stop joining groups that clearly advertise for something else.

I also don’t think it’s fair to judge the whole of dungeon encounters on the second easiest path in the game.

It does surprise me, I guess. I figured it was going to be the back to school update. I didn’t really like SAB, but the majority of people I know we’re SUPER (lol) excited about it coming back soon. It surprises me that they don’t just release it as it was with no uodates. To keep people happy. I wonder if it really would take that much development effort. I guess I don’t know how hard it would be (I freely admit that) but it is obviously something their players care about. I wish they would have at least considered throwing it back in this year.

Perhaps there isn’t a true black or a true white because both will wash out or cover up armor details to an undesirable amount in game, so they chose colors which are close but not exactly there.

Yeah I’d say this is likely the case. Armor detail is a lot more intricate than you’d imagine unless you have super high graphics. That’s why gem store dyes are so cool, the accentuate those details. A pure black or white probably would not texture well. I’m sure it would look good in areas on an armor piece but so much of the detail on armor can be masked by even the darkness of abyss…

To be honest even if I was rather tolerant of people using inferior gear/builds before the update and have told people that I don’t mind as much what other people want to do…

I legitimately feel like being hostile towards non-zerk players now because of all of this garbage. Ignorant people spreading this ridiculous notion of everything being perfect all of a sudden because they made us hit less damage.

Pure, unrestrained stupidity. Typical online community in a MMORPG, oh well.
